How can anyone be too surprised that Hagel´s hearing didn´t go to well? By Hagel being an almost complete moron and having a personality that is at least as irritating as external hemorrhoids, he has all the qualities needed by the Fauxbama regime. He´d fit right in perfectly.

I don´t care what McCain does on any given day,even if his actions seem favorable at the time. McCain likes to think he´s a big player in DC and loves to grandstand issues. I´ll bet he think Rubio´s immigration plan is too harsh.
The other problem with dismissing one of obama´s noms,is the next person in line could be worse. That´s how Kerry and others are getting through. It not based on qualifications but a devil you know sort of deal.
Hagel´s not qualified for any government office,much less the most important one. Obama wants him in there to slash the military down to nothing so he can use the money for social programs which are flat broke.

It is amazing just how wrong economists were in their predictions for the number of jobs that were to be created in March. The “consensus” figure was 200,000 — a far cry from the actual number created which was 88,000. Totally “unexpected,” as usual. In one way, you can’t blame them. After a better than average gain in February of 236,000 (revised upward this month to 268,000), along with some positive numbers in housing and consumer spending, there were no doubt many analysts who began breathing a sigh of relief and believing that the long-awaited jobs recovery was upon us.

The unemployment rate, because of a terrible statistic, is down to 7.6%. The number of people in this country who are not working is shameful. Ninety million Americans are no longer in the workforce. Ninety million. People not in the labor force grew by 663,000, and now 90 million. That´s the labor force participation rate. This is 1979 levels.
