Obama´s Jobless Recovery
Continues Unabated

Investors Business Daily, by Staff

Economy: So the economy created 157,000 new payroll jobs in January. Wow. At this rate, we might actually get back down to Bush-era unemployment rates sometime, oh, within the next 100 years. The January jobs report is supposed to be good news. After all, the economy has now added a total of 6.1 million jobs over the past three years, and the BLS revised last year´s jobs numbers sharply upward. But it doesn´t take much effort to notice that, when it comes to job creation, we are barely treading water. Case in point: Despite these "big" gains,

Actually the unemployment rate never went below 8% as Obama´s propagandists reported.Lots of numbers got fudged.

And with hundreds of bank closed over last couple years theirs less competition.

Same with lots of other businesses.

Of course profits will be up as a result.

And the stock market? You almost HAVE to invest in it since a money market or bond will harldy pay 1% return.
Therefore, more money chasing same number of stock shares, which is driving prices upward.

Obama claims he´s created over 5 million jobs but he leaves out one little sticky detail.8 million have left the workforce entirely.

I doubt the jobs he claims are actually "new" jobs.If somebody quits and gets replaced he probably claims credit for the replacement worker.

Yesterday, these people had the gall to revise the last two years new jobs figures upward.Of course the media slipped and fell on their own drool reporting it.

One thing that Obama has done is completely solve the homeless people problem. In the past four years the news hasn´t had a single story about some person living under an overpass.

Thatcher thought Britain

A few hours after Margaret Thatcher´s death on Monday, the snarling deadbeats of the British underclass were gleefully rampaging through the streets of Brixton in South London, scaling the marquee of the local fleapit and hanging a banner announcing, "THE B@&$! IS DEAD." Amazingly, they managed to spell all four words correctly. By Friday, "Ding Dong! The Witch Is Dead," from "The Wizard of Oz," was the No. 1 download at Amazon UK. Mrs. Thatcher would have enjoyed all this. Her former speechwriter John O´Sullivan recalls how, some years after leaving office, she

RUSH: We have the audio coming up, Border Patrol agent is loading up one of the captured illegals trying to get in the country, and the captured illegal said to the Border Patrol agent, "I don´t care, go ahead and capture me. Obama is gonna let me go." It´s reminiscent of 2009 after Obama was inaugurated and they had all those town hall meetings. "Don´t worry, Obama is gonna fix my kitchen." Well, the illegal arrivals crossing the border in Texas are not sweating it because Obama is gonna let them go.

Protest song Ding Dong! The Witch Is Dead, hijacked to mock Margaret Thatcher’s death, is set to hit No?1 this weekend as the BBC dithers over whether to play it on Radio 1. While friends of Britain’s first woman prime minister voiced disgust at a Left-wing campaign to push it up the charts, the question of whether it deserved BBC airtime divided MPs and commentators. An online poll for the Radio Times found 89 per cent of people believed the song, originally written for the 1939 musical The Wizard Of Oz, should be played.

3,000 people have joined Facebook group "Maggie´s Good Riddance Party", which claims it will hold a "right jolly knees up" outside St Paul´s on the day of Baroness Thatcher´s funeral. The protesters wish to "get their money´s worth" from the funeral, which will be paid for in part by the state. Those attending include a civil servant at the Department of Work and Pensions, a carer and a branch leader of the National Union of Students. Some warned of "civil unrest". Now, I will be honest with you about what I wrote back, before knowing anything. I mean, I´m aware of the latest, the proposed filibuster and all the debate arguments pro and con. I know what the Democrats want. They want to get guns out of the hands of everybody that´s got them legally. I know the drill. You do, too. I don´t care what they say. I don´t care about their denials.

Mother Jones´s story about Sen. Mitch McConnell and actress Ashley Judd, noted here Wednesday, was a huge dud in itself. But it turns out the magazine´s David Corn has stumbled upon--and become a player in--a Watergate-like scandal. For the benefit of younger readers, a refresher: Washington´s Watergate Hotel housed the Democratic National Committee´s headquarters, site of a July 1972 burglary. It turned out that the culprits were connected with the re-election campaign of President Richard Nixon, and their aim was to steal information--to photograph documents and install listening devices.

The grand jury report in the case of Dr. Kermit Gosnell, 72, is among the most horrifying I´ve read. "This case is about a doctor who killed babies and endangered women. What we mean is that he regularly and illegally delivered live, viable babies in the third trimester of pregnancy - and then murdered these newborns by severing their spinal cords with scissors," it states. "The medical practice by which he carried out this business was a filthy fraud in which he overdosed his patients with dangerous drugs, spread venereal disease among them with infected instruments,

In a commentary carried by the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), the communist country lashed out at Tokyo´s standing orders to destroy any missile heading toward Japan, threatening such actions will result in a nuclear attack against the island nation. If Japan executes its threat to shoot down any North Korean missile, such a “provocative” intervention would see Tokyo — an enormous conurbation of 30 million people — “consumed in nuclear flames”, KCNA warned. “Japan is always in the cross-hairs of our revolutionary army and if Japan makes a slightest move, the spark of war will touch Japan first,” the report added.

America´s Economic Disconnect

The state of our economy has become a constructed fantasy created largely by mainstream media (MSM) narratives. Media accounts of economic performance over the past four years have ranged from confusing to inaccurate to flagrant happy talk and spin. Rationalization and selective reporting have created economic ´good´ news and false ´hopes´ where none existed or should exist. The techniques employed have included consistently biased memes, factual omission, factual commission, and even misdirection. Often such narratives suggest that improvement would occur tomorrow... or next week, or next year. The effect on Americans has been a growing separation between

Only one of my six children has left New York for economic reasons but the strain of living in this expensive nanny state is weighing heavy on my other five and their families. As a native New Yorker, I´ve seen its middle class population decline over the years due to its neglect of blue collar families which is ironic since this is a Democrat city. With the recent arrests of several local politicians for corruption perhaps New Yorkers will pay more attention to those they put in office. Given their past indifference in local elections this is highly unlikely.

Whatever big-busted fantasies crawl around the ex-congressman’s delirious noggin, la Weiner made his next goal as clear as the skin of the wholesome college students he craved: He relishes being Mayor Weiner. Please, shut up this clown. These days, the genitally obsessed Weiner has nothing much to do, except sit in his lavish Manhattan apartment and — the inhumanity! — change the poopy diapers of his 16-month-old son, Jordan.
