Woman found dead in van ´riddled

A woman has died after her van was ´riddled with bullets´ while she was driving on Chicago´s Lake Shore Drive early this morning. The shocking slaying comes days after a 15-year-old girl was randomly gunned down in a south-side neighborhood on Tuesday and brings the city´s death toll for 2013 to at least 43. Today´s shooting occurred at around 4 a.m. on the Lake Shore Drive ramp leading to Interstate 55. The 32-year-old woman was traveling south with a 37-year-old female passenger in her 2000 white Dodge when a

Comments:
The negligence of the national media in not reporting this is appalling. I can´t imagine how fearful I would be if I lived in that city.

If they could just get a couple of the killings to be white on black, we could get the Rev-runs and the media on top of this!

I also notice that once again, we are getting this information from a foreign media outlet. I assume the scant coverage of this typical occurance in Democratically controlled Chicago is for reasons similar to that of why the Benghazi shooting was at first ignored and then blamed on a video. It just doesn´t comport with Rahm´s vision of the city.

It is just more dead on proof that gun control laws don´t work. Pun intended.

Chicago should change their City Emblem to a person with a pistol target on their front.

FTA: "Police said the shooting was related to gang and drug activity and was not random."

There you have it. Chicago is not a dangerous city unless you are involved in a gang or drug dealing, or are in one of the bombed out neighborhoods where it takes place. Once in a while it spills out into the rest of the city, like this hit did. But you have a greater chance of being run over by a drunk driver or being hit by lightening than being hit by stray gunfire, unless you find youself in one of the bombed out neighborhoods where this drug war is being fought out.

These are lowlife losers, the product of the Great Society, fighting it out over drug turf. And all the marches and candlelight vigils will do absolutely nothing until the people in those neighborhoods stop protecting the animals who are murdering their children.

And make no mistake about it. They are animals. The were whelped by "mothers" by multiple "fathers," were on their own as soon as they could walk, raised themselves in the streets, and have absolutely no values or morals or human compassion.

It almost appears as if the politicians are standing by just letting them kill each other. Why bother to find a murderer if you know that if you just wait a few weeks his victim´s gang will take him off the street for you? And then that gang retaliates, and on and on. And no one cares until some good kid gets in the way. But all the good families know exactly who the gang members are, but refuse to turn them in. They are paying a big price for their racial unity.

It´s strange that the mayor´s name was not mentioned, nor was the fact that gangs which are known to run Chicago are permitted to run amock while Rahm burns with mayoral power, refusing to do diddly about any of this.

Chicago and Detroit should be declared war zones; no commerce in or out until the gangs are cleaned up, imprisoned or sent to live on Alcatraz with what I pray will be the rest of the criminals in America, including members of Congress. Especially members of Congress. Alcatraz isn´t being used. Put it to good use. We can have our own Gitmo.

Why doesn´t Rahm do something other than speciously noting that gangs should stop killing each other? Wow. That helped a lot, I see.

The woman is the latest victim of Chicago´s out-of-control gun violence.

"...GUN violence"? As though the guns themselves did the shooting without criminals pulling the triggers? How about "criminal gang violence", Rahm?

How about y´all quit the futile attempts to blame guns and gun ownership by lawful people?

How our media can sleep nights and continue to protect the criminals in high places is beyond my ability to understand. Conscience-less politicians run this country and until the citizens who live there demand change, it will remain so.

I’m not sure how widely it was known that Jonathan Winters, whom Robin Williams thought the best comic of his generation, was a conservative. In any case, I sometimes used to show students in my classes on the American Founding the early scene from “It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad World” where the whole gang tries to deliberate about how to divide the loot fairly when they finally got to the site where the loot was hidden, and how it could illustrate . . . the “great compromise” of the constitutional convention of 1787 in Philadelphia.

Several resolutions re-establishing the party´s official position were adopted without discussion on Friday. One resolution states the party´s belief that "the institution of marriage is the solid foundation upon which our society is built and in which children thrive; it is based on the relationship that only a man and a woman can form." Members of Congress need to know that Dylan Hockley “loved jumping on trampolines and watching movies” and that he “died in his teacher’s arms.” They should meet Benjamin Wheeler’s parents and know what they’ve lost. What Murphy and Malloy are doing is not politicizing a tragedy. It’s an important part of the discussion around restricting the kind of mass murder weaponry used to kill 20 children

With the recent arrests of several local politicians for corruption perhaps New Yorkers will pay more attention to those they put in office.
