Long after Election Day, major donors keep giving to Obama

| President Obama´s special large-donor campaign vehicle, which can accept donations of more than $100,000 — far more than individuals can give to standard campaign committees — continued to take in money weeks after the election, raising $1.8 million between November 27 and December 31, record show. The Obama organization, which is in the process of transitioning to a nonprofit entity called Organizing for America, transferred $5.5 million to the campaign itself, which will employ the campaign´s assets, including its valuable supporter databases, to advance the president´s legislative agenda. That nonprofit will be able to take contributions in unlimited amounts

Of course, it is protection money. And then there are the kickback funds from tyrants like Soros that are laundered through the non-profits...

The only modicum of success Obama has had is running a perpetual campaign,to cover up his numerous failures as president.
Now they´re blaming republican spending cuts for the staggering economy ,when the economy has been staggering since before Obama was even elected. The prospect of him being elected, started the down slide.
Don´t doubt for a minute the only spending cuts we´retalkig abut is the military.Everything else in government is a scared cow, especialy if the pay union dues to the dems racket.
Re-electing Obama will go dwn in history as the worse decision this country has ever made.
He´s just getting started on an agenda which will have white people fast tracked to the poorhouse, either under job displacement, going out of business,Obamacare premiums, various forms of climate penalties.
They´re going to be sticking their nose more and more into professional sports. There´s sports writers demanding gay acceptance in locker rooms,so your freedom of thought or expression is on it´s way out unless your target is Palin, the NRA or republican House.
They´re trying to figure out ways to shut Obama detractors up.Obama pinpointed the worst offenders in Limbaugh and Fox.They´re currently trying to turn Limbaugh´s listeners against him by saying he´s embraced amnesty.

WASHINGTON- Retail sales contracted in March for the second time in three months, a sign the American economy may have stumbled at the end of the first quarter. Retail sales fell 0.4 percent during the month, the Commerce Department said on Friday. That was below analysts´ expectations that sales would be flat. Readings for retail sales have been volatile so far this year, making it difficult to know whether the weakness in March was due to a tax hike that went into effect at the start of the year or to temporary factors related to the weather.

Senate Democrats are hesitating to honor the former prime minister of Great Britain who, along with President Reagan and Pope John Paul II, tackled communism. This is particularly galling in light of the fact that 16 Republicans crossed the aisle to vote for cloture on the Democrats´ gun control bill, today. Heritage Action reports: A Senate resolution to honor Lady Thatcher was supposed to pass last night. However, per well placed sources on the Hill, Democrats have a hold on the resolution. To refuse to honor a woman of such great historical and political significance,

Hours after First Lady Michelle Obama tearfully mourned the death of a 15-year-old girl who was shot in her Chicago hometown a second girl of the same age and in the same city has been critically wounded by gunfire. The unidentified girl was shot near her stomach around 1pm on the South Side of the city´s Grand Crossing neighborhood, roughly four miles south of where Hadiya Pendleton was killed on January 29. Just about 20 minutes later a 27-year-old man was shot in the leg in the same neighborhood, the Chicago Tribune reports.

More than 3,300 crosses, Stars of David and Islamic symbols were installed on the National Mall Thursday as peace activists created a mock cemetery to honor victims of gun violence. Organizers said the number of markers was chosen to honor the victims of gun violence who have died since the mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn. At 11:30 a.m., religious leaders from across the country -- including some from Newtown -- began a 24-hour vigil among the grave markers, a protest aimed at lawmakers as they began to vote on a set of new gun restrictions.

Like a lot of high school sophomores, 15-year-old Ashley Baldwin found a job. Baldwin, however, wasn´t working retail or fast-food. She was doing ultrasounds, administering intravenous medicine and, ultimately, assisting in abortions performed by West Philadelphia doctor Kermit Gosnell. Baldwin, now 22, and the mother of a two-year-old, today told a Philadelphia jury hearing Gosnell´s murder trial of her unusual hands-on medical apprenticeship. She also told of seeing at least five aborted babies moving, breathing and, in one case, "screeching," after procedures at Gosnells´ Women´s Medical Society clinic at 3801 Lancaster Ave.

The House Republican campaign chief came under fire from senior members of his own party on Thursday after he split with party leaders in criticizing a Social Security change in President Obama’s budget that Republicans have long sought. Rep. Greg Walden (R-Ore.), chairman of the National Republican Congressional Committee, on Wednesday called a proposed cut to Social Security a “shocking assault on seniors,” hours after Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) and Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) had praised the president for offering the same policy change, known as chained CPI.

Massachusetts prosecutors are dropping charges against a disgraced former Newton elementary school teacher who had been accused of sexually assaulting three children, saying they’re content to let him serve out a 45-year federal child-porn sentence — and that the victims’ families didn’t want to force their children into painful trial testimony. David Ettlinger, 35, will not be prosecuted on charges he abused two children in Suffolk County and one in Middlesex County, Suffolk District Attorney Daniel F. Conley and Middlesex District Attorney Gerard T. Leone said in a joint statement today. “Given the length of the defendant’s federal sentence,

In the message he issued along with his budget proposal on Wednesday morning, President Barack Obama said he wants to see 4-year-old children in the United States enrolled in public schools. Obama said America needs to start enrolling 4-year-olds to make sure the children are “better prepared for the demands of the global economy” and to help parents save on "child-care costs." After saying the United States needs to “equip our citizens with the skills and training” to fill jobs in manufacturing, energy and infrastructure, Obama said, “And that has to start at the earliest possible age.”

In 2011, the journalist Mara Hvistendahl published Unnatural Selection: Choosing Boys Over Girls, and the Consequences of a World Full of Men, detailing the societal effects of sex-selective abortions that target women the world over and resulted in the absence of perhaps more than 100 million girls who by now should have been born. But Hvistendahl soon learned the downside to uncovering what many believe to be a shocking trend in human rights offenses: people will want to do something about it. And so she lashed out, declaring that “anti-abortion activists

Whatever big-busted fantasies crawl around the ex-congressman’s delirious noggin, la Weiner made his next goal as clear as the skin of the wholesome college students he craved: He relishes being Mayor Weiner. Worse, Weiner is living under a kind of house arrest, sentenced to take extreme grief
