Defense Secretary Leon Panetta is expected to testify at an upcoming Senate hearing on the Libya terror attack, a source tells Fox News -- after Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham threatened to hold up Chuck Hagel´s confirmation to replace Panetta over the issue. At the start of Hagel´s confirmation hearing Thursday, Senate Armed Services Committee Chairman Carl Levin, D-Mich., announced that the panel would hold a hearing on Benghazi next month. He did not specify whether Panetta would testify, but a committee aide told Fox News he is expected to. Another aide said Graham is "happy as a clam"

That´s because #8, there is nobody with integrity or honor in any of the Cabinet positions. That would only call attention to the fact that the WH has neither.

Ho hum...from previous investigations by our esteemed leaders on the hill, I don´t expect much. They will preen and posture for the cameras but I doubt anything new will be learned. If they were serious, the questions would be short and to the point with follow-up and they would stop any filibustering by Panetta. They would cut the bloviating and focus on getting answers in an effort to find justice for the families of these four dead Americans.

Here we go again America...another taxpayer funded "dog and pony show," for the exclusive benefit of the national/international television networks, "full of sound and fury, signifying nothing."

Do these Senators really and truly expect straight answers to their questions from The Draft Dodger-In-Chief´s former White House Chief of Staff? I think not.

Graham has been outstanding this week.
In the gun control hearings , the grilling of doddering Hagel and now this.
People like Limbaugh who mimic and
demean Senator Graham are the ones behaving like fools.
Republicans are always slandered by some buffoonish characters on the right and never, ever given credit
for all the good things they do.
Graham deserves a lot of credit.
Oh and he stopped Obama from nominating that awful Susan Rice.
FTA- "Graham has been among the most vocal and persistent Republican lawmakers
in calling for answers
about the Sept. 11, 2012, ..."
" Among Graham´s lingering questions are what happened during the seven-hour attack on the Benghazi outpost
and what was Obama´s response. "
Perhaps Graham can finally get a timeline for the CINC during the attack.
The only solid fact we know , per the White House
the next day , is that the POTUS took to his bed when Americans were being murdered.
If the White House is willing to admit that Obama ...
went to sleep ..
during an unfolding national security crisis..
then the truth about Obama´s behavior that night must be very damaging.

Precisely, #20. I had high hopes for Mr. Graham long ago, when he was one of the House managers during Clinton´s impeachment and showed courage, backbone, and moral clarity, but it´s been downhill ever since.

TRENTON — Talk about an odd couple. Liberal media mogul Arianna Huffington is bringing GOP star Gov. Chris Christie to the White House Correspondents´ dinner later this month. The governor will feel at home with the Huffington Post founder´s other guests: New Jersey natives Jon Bon Jovi of Sayreville and Shaquille O´Neal of Newark, according to Women´s Wear Daily, which first reported the invites. Shaq recently visited Christie at the Statehouse in Trenton. Christie was one half of an unusual pairing last year, too, when he made headlines for sitting next to bombshell "Modern Family" actress Sofia Vegara.

I don´t mean in a Nazis vs Communists, Hitler vs Stalin, way. I mean in a moderate way: Conservative activists vs Labour activists, you might say. It´s difficult to imagine Conservative activists behaving like the people who celebrated Margaret Thatcher´s death in Glasgow and Brixton. That´s partly because it´s hard to think of any Left-wing leader who had as powerful an effect on the country as she did. But, still, between them, Harold Wilson and Jim Callaghan – with quite a lot of help from Edward Heath – led to a disastrous decline in British fortunes in the 1970s,

As home to a population of more than seven million crammed into an area measuring just 424 square miles, space in Hong Kong is at a premium. It means that, when it comes to providing accommodation for Hong Kong´s huge population, the only way to go is up. The result is the soaring high-rise buildings captured to incredible effect by German photographer Michael Wolf in his project Architecture of Density.

The U.S. Postal Service on Wednesday said it will delay a cost-cutting plan to end Saturday mail delivery, following congressional action that blocked the effort. Congress passed a temporary federal spending bill last month including language that prevents the agency -- which lost $15.9 billion last year -- from going to a Monday-to-Friday mail delivery schedule. The agency, which wanted to begin the new schedule Aug. 5, said the decision was made Tuesday by its board of governors. “By including restrictive language in the Continuing Resolution, Congress has prohibited implementation of a new national delivery schedule,”

President Obama´s budget plan would increase taxes by $580 billion over the next decade, but it relies on many proposals that have been repeatedly rejected by Congress. Some were rejected as recently as January, when Congress voted to make permanent a series of tax cuts first enacted under President George W. Bush. Among them, a proposal to limit itemized deductions for high-income families. One new proposal is a 94 cents-a-pack increase in the cigarette tax. The tax would raise an estimated $78 billion over the next decade to pay for early childhood education.
