| Our nation is in crisis. The Obama administration is centralizing power at a level unmatched in American history with grave consequences for our future liberty and freedom. (Snip) So, is there a way to restore the Republic? There is good news; the first salvos have already been fired in the battle to save America. And no, they weren´t fired from anywhere in Washington D.C., from members of Congress or from Republican Party headquarters. The shots being fired, the first movements in a war to save our republican form of government are coming from the most unheralded of places.

We may not be able to elect a president we like but we should make sure we vote for our local and state leaders. the low info voters stay home for these elections

It is ironic, but we, and rightly so, call out the Left for its manner of shutting out debate through name calling. You raise an issue and you are a bigot, racist, homophobe, Islamophobe, you name it. But the Right, in discussing this issue does the same, hence the ridiculous "neo-confederate" charge over the issue of nullification. With all due respect to the great legal scholars on the right today, I won´t turn a deaf ear to the words and writings of Jefferson and Madison. Not under our present conditions.
It´s about time to have a legitimate discussion about nullification. It may very well be the only thing that saves the republic.

It is obvious that the original design of the Constitution´s federal system was to create a balance of power between the state and national governments, and it is obvious that one effect of the civil war was to tip that balance and put us on a slow course (not so slow anymore) toward consolidation of all power in Washington and all Washington power in a god-man President/Dictator.

A coalition of Eagle Scouts, Scoutmasters, and parents have launched a new organization vowing to keep sex and politics out of the Boy Scouts of America. “The Boy Scouts are one of the great jewels of American culture,” said John Stemberger, an Eagle Scout and the founder of OnMyHonor.net. Representatives from more than a dozen states gathered in Florida to announce the opposition to any attempt to allow open homosexuality in the BSA. In the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic all health care was free for everybody! Oh, what a paradise….well, until you actually experienced the “worker’s paradise,” as the communists proudly called it, in real life. It’s the easiest thing in the world to be a pessimist, and the least American. We’re optimists, and as tough as things are, as many skirmishes as we’ve lost, we haven’t lost this country to the left quite yet. If you had to choose between being them or us, you’d be crazy to choose being them. We’re going to win, and America is going to rise again. Pessimism is a cop-out, an excuse to do nothing and wait for the end instead of figuratively fixing bayonets and charging head-long into the enemy.

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. This begs the question, “Why are we losing our religion?”

North Korea’s young leader Kim Jong-un is waiting for United States President Barack Obama to make a phone call to Pyongyang to discuss easing tensions on the Korean peninsula, according to Russia’s news agency Itar-Tass. The report cited United Kingdom diplomats, saying Pyongyang was demanding the U.S. president personally call Kim Jong-un as one of the conditions to relieve the current conflict at hand.
