No Deal - Obama: No Border
Security Before Path to
Citizenship

Breitbart´s Big Government, by Joel B. Pollak

Original Article

President Barack Obama is set to reject the key compromise at the heart of a bipartisan deal on immigration reform announced by eight Senators yesterday. The president, who will deliver an address later today in Las Vegas, NV outlining his own immigration ideas, is reported to oppose linking a “path to citizenship” for illegal immigrants, a Democrat demand, to stronger law enforcement and better border security, a Republican demand. The president will apparently argue that the administration has met reasonable goals on enforcing current immigration legislation, and that additional security will merely create new obstacles to legalizing

You cannot ask people to follow a law that is not enforced at all. And who made up this 11 million number I see at abc nbc et al? It is closer to 30 million than it is 11 million . But who cares about facts - obviously not the white house paid propaganda mongers posing as journalists.

Without enforcement, any deal is useless.

Why bother to even get papers if you´re never going to be sent back anyway. I predict that a lot of people won´t even bother for various reasons...it costs money, wanted on warrants, don´t feel like paying taxes, don´t really want to be a US citizen anyway...and on and on.

Just setting up the coming immigration rope-a-dope for the Stupid Party.

The "honorable" Schumers and Durbins will "reluctantly" concede this, gutting their agreement with the Four Stupidos (Maverick, Miss Lindsey, The Flake and the Evolved Marco Rubio). Then the ´Rats´ Greek chorus in the MFM and elsewhere will start parading their familiar group of heart-string tuggers and beat the Stupid Party into submission.

Again.

GOP accept more taxes IF spending cuts are accepted. No cuts, but more taxes.

GOP accepts gun control IF more enforcement of current laws. No enforcement, but more laws.

GOP accepts amnesty IF more enforcement of current laws. No enforcement, but amnesty.

Simplifications, but even I can see a pattern here.

There is no need to create a streamlined system to give 11 to 20 million illegal aliens US voting rights to solve the current illegal alien problem. The President of Mexico back during the G.W. Bush era used to advise that the vast majority of Mexicans who are living in the USA illegally are happy being Mexicans, only want to work in the USA, want to be treated with dignity, to be able to travel to and from the USA as they wish, and are not asking to be conferred with US citizenship.

In that respect, the Congress could grant longtime illegal aliens a conditional immigration status that allowed them to live and work in the US indefinitely as long as they complied with US immigration law. That status could protect them under US labor laws and allow them the right of travel to any from the USA. Most illegal aliens would be happy to accept such a conditional immigration status that would not include a path to citizenship and US voting rights.

The reason that Obama wants a streamlined amnesty system designed to give the illegal alien population US voting rights ASAP, is that the Democrats see the probability of a massive pick-up of between 11 to 20 million new voters in the years ahead coming out of their amnesty, to the point where they could change the political balance of the USA permanently in their favor, by remaking States like Florida, Arizona and Texas into what California is politically today. The Republicans must oppose that, or they will end up committing long-term political suicide.

The National Rifle Association will oppose the background check bill introduced by Sen. Joe Manchin (D., W.V.) and Sen. Pat Toomey (R., Pa.) Wednesday, the pro-Second Amendment group told the Washington Free Beacon. Manchin and Toomey held a press conference Wednesday morning announcing a bipartisan bill that would expand background checks for all commercial firearm sales, including gun shows and Internet sales. The bill is the latest effort by the Senate to introduce background check legislation, after negotiations between Sen. Tom Coburn (R., Okla.) and Democrats broke down earlier this year. MSNBC host Touré founded a student newspaper dedicated to black liberation theology while he was a college student attending Emory University from 1989 to 1992. Touré’s flagship publication, The Fire This Time, lavished praise on famous anti-Semites, black supremacists, and conspiracy theorists whom Touré helped bring to campus. Before he became an intense-but-sardonic TV personality, Touré also decried “the suffocating white community” and defended a nationally famous fake hate crime. In an interview with The Daily Caller, Touré described the newspaper as “an important black voice on campus” and “a form of community building.”

The most ominous trend in America´s employment data is not the number of people who have left the labor force, but the number who are now working either for the government or in the as-yet-still-private sector of the health care industry. Health care has boomed under Obama, according to data published by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. When Obama was inaugurated in January 2009, there were 13,436,700 jobs in the private health care industry; by this March, there were 14,516,600. Over the past four years, America has created 1,079,900 new jobs in the private-sector health care industry.

Just over a week after sequestration took effect, the State Department allotted more than $700,000 for gardening at a U.S. Ambassador’s residence in Brussels, Belgium. On March 11, State awarded a contract to provide gardening services at an “official residence” of the U.S. Mission in Belgium. A State Department spokesperson confirmed to CNSNews.com that the contract is for Truman Hall, a historic property that serves at the residence of the Ambassador to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). The current U.S. ambassador to NATO is Ivo H. Daalder, who was appointed by President Barack Obama in May 2009.

With the passing of Margaret Thatcher, we’ve lost not only one of conservatism’s heroes. We’ve lost one of the greatest figures of modern times, a woman who battled incredible odds to become prime minister, and then turned her country around after decades of decline. I had the honor of working for Lady Thatcher in her private office from 2000 to 2002. Like anyone who has had that privilege, I had the opportunity to observe firsthand how fully she dedicated her life to serving her country. She was a true leader in every sense of the word, and

Anti-Muslim views have often been promoted by Republican law-makers and GOP political operatives. In a recent survey by the Arab American Institute, Republican views toward Arab and Muslim-Americans were viewed with the greatest negativity by an overwhelming majority of those surveyed. In return, Muslims expressed unfavorable views towards evangelicals, neo-conservatives and the Republican Party. Sadly, only a small percentage of Muslims polled had favorable opinions of Republicans following the Bush Presidency. As expected, Democrats were viewed more positively by the Muslim community than Republicans, which highlights some significant parallels between the GOP’s questionable approach
