I´m not crazy about the idea of guns in churches but with the left´s hatred of God and religion,you never know when one of their nutcases will shoot up a church.

These people are so dense. They think allowing guns in churches will make people less safe? Whats stopping the psychos from bringing one in now? Their law maybe? I´m sure the murderers stop and turn around when they see the gun free zone sign.
All this will do is give the good guys a fighting chance. Apparently some must think that isnt fair to the murderers.

I never understood how the State could tell a church what it can and can´t allow. I guess that 1st Amendment thingy doesn´t apply to religions.

The bill says you can carry, not that you must carry. A few will; most will not. But those few will be sufficient to keep the crazies in check. Good idea.

No. 4 is a pretty good theologian. There´s a difference between being a religion of peace and a religion of pacifism, and Christianity is the former. As C.S. Lewis noted, no one of Jesus´ hearers would have heard the parable of the Good Samaritan and thought that if the Samaritan had arrived at the attack on the traveler while it was going on, he should have stood aside and let the attackers finish their assault before trying to help the victim. No, he would have intervened as forcefully as he could to stop the muggers, at whatever risk to himself, because that was the right thing to do.

The Torah (Old Testament) tells us there is a time to fight (Ecclesiastes). Joshua, Saul and David were great warriors, highly praised for using weaponry well.

The Apostle Paul tells us the godly ruler "bears the sword, but not in vain."

The Bible shows Jesus ordering his followers to have military style assault weapons:

Then Jesus asked them, "When I sent you without purse, bag or sandals, did you lack anything?" "Nothing," they answered. He said to them, "But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don´t have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one. It is written: `And he was numbered with the transgressors´ ; and I tell you that this must be fulfilled in me. Yes, what is written about me is reaching its fulfillment." The disciples said, "See, Lord, here are two swords." "That is enough," he replied. (Luke 22:35-38, NIV)

Imagine letting the little people decide for themselves...

The Democrats, who oppose the God of Christianity whenever they can, oppose this bill. The Dems are truly evil.

The Jesus of the bible was no pacifist. Arkansas media is upset because Arkansas has gone conservative and they don´t know what to do about it.

Anyone who says, "The Bible doesn´t talk about violence." has clearly never read it.
