Obama Opens Second Term
the Same Way He Started
First... Talking About Me

Original Article

RUSH: Obama said to the New Republic he´d get a lot more done without Fox News and Rush Limbaugh. The rest of the media´s in the tank. Everybody else has fallen in line. There is no opposition other than Fox News and Limbaugh. The way it works, and what this all boils down to, the Republicans, I mean, everybody knows they want to get along with Democrats. Everybody knows they want to socialize. They want their lives to have meaning, but Limbaugh is the one standing in the way ´cause what happens?

What a pathetic cretin Obama is.

Sounds like Obama is trying to get Republicans to get rid of Rush Limbaugh.
He knows Republican elites would like to marginalize conservative influence in the party. He also knows that the Republican Party will be essentially destroyed as effective opposition to his overall agenda without conservatives - "one party rule" with him as ruler.

Remember right after the election how "moderate voices" in the Republican Party were publicly attacking Rush by saying essentially the same thing Obama is saying in this interview?

They seem to think silencing Rush would be a death blow to ("extreme") conservatism. It´s interesting to notice who/what is defined as conservative by some today, and who is calling Rush, Levin, and others, extreme, while calling themselves conservative.

It will be interesting also to see if this Obama interview causes a renewed onslaught of attacks against Rush from some Republicans.

Left leaning media outlets criticized Internet news mogul Matt Drudge’s tweets on Friday, but the backlash stemmed from a misunderstanding of how Obamacare will affect small businesses. On Friday, Matt DrudgeDRUDGE/status/447057404568424448” target=”_blank”>tweeted, “Just paid the Obamacare penalty for not ‘getting covered’… I’M CALLING IT A LIBERTY TAX!” A few minutes later, Jason Lee, the Director of Progressive Media at the White House, tweeted a response, saying Mr. Drudge’s tweet was a, “flat lie, no fee for previous year. Michelle Obama has declared that access to the internet should be a universal right, in a rare and controversial foray into the world of international politics during a cultural visit to China. The US first lady, who is on a week-long trip to the communist state with her daughters and mother, risked upsetting her hosts in Beijing by declaring access to information as a birthright. During a speech at Peking University´s Stanford Centre, she called for greater freedoms while refraining from a direct attack on the controls over information in China. The so-called "great firewall of China" blocks access to internet sites

The captain of missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 received a two-minute call shortly before take-off from a mystery woman using a mobile phone number obtained under a false identity. It was one of the last calls made to or from the mobile of Captain Zaharie Ahmad Shah in the hours before his Boeing 777 left Kuala Lumpur 16 days ago. Investigators are treating it as potentially significant because anyone buying a pay-as-you-go SIM card in Malaysia has to fill out a form giving their identity card or passport number. Introduced as an anti-terrorism measure following 9/11, this ensures that every number is registered

Incessant "antifascist" propaganda from Moscow, baseless claims of attacks against Russians in Ukraine, incitement of Russian-speakers in eastern Ukraine, Russian troops without insignia seizing official buildings in Crimea, a stage-managed illegal plebiscite there and then its annexation by Russia, assurances from President Vladimir Putin that he has no further territorial designs in Europe (though, alas, he may be forced to intervene elsewhere to protect ethnic Russians)—yes, it all has the disturbing ring of the 1930s. Isn´t this where nationalism leads—to fascism and war? That is a common interpretation of Europe´s recent crises. It is also, coincidentally, Mr. Putin´s interpretation of events in

With Sunday marking the fourth anniversary of the Affordable Care Act being signed into law, it´s worth revisiting the initial purpose of the president´s signature legislation: Universal coverage was the main goal. Four years later, not even the White House pretends that this goal will be realized. Most of those who were uninsured before the law was passed will remain uninsured, according to the Congressional Budget Office. Democrats also fixated on another goal: protection for people with pre-existing conditions. One of the first things the new law did was create federal risk pools so that people who had been denied coverage
