Boy Scouts may soon
welcome gay scouts, leaders

USA Today, by Oren Dorell and Cathy Lynn Grossman

Original Article

Posted By:southernstench, 1/28/2013 2:05:48 PM

As early as next week, the Boy Scouts of America´s may announce it will allow gay scouts and troop leaders, a spokesman for the group has told USA TODAY. If this policy shift is approved by the national board meeting at their scheduled meeting next week, it will be a sharp reversal of the Scouts´ decade´s old national policy banning homosexuals. "The policy change under discussion would allow the religious, civic, or educational organizations that oversee and deliver Scouting to determine how to address this issue," BSA spokesman Deron Smith said in a statement to USA TODAY.

They "may" also welcome declining membership.

There is no way I´d let a child of mine in a troop led by a gay leader.

When do they plan to rewrite the Scout Oath and void the phrase "morally straight"?

Also, isn´t there already an organization that welcomes gay children and adults called NAMBLA?

This´ll probably lead to a lot of sexual abuse lawsuits in 10-20 years.

The day that they allow this travesy, you can count on many churches to NOT allow them to use their facilities. First the ´Lestibyean´ Girl Scouts and now THIS? sheesh!

The date they announce this as policy is the date on the BSA tombstone.

Did you know????

Of the 27 men to travel to the moon on the Apollo 9 through Apollo 17 missions, 24 were Scouts, including 11 of the 12 men who physically walked on the moon´s surface, and all three members of the crew of Apollo 13.

So, let´s destroy yet another successful leadership institution.

And we wonder why the country is failing?

If they want equal opportunity, let them join the girl scouts. Let´s let the boy´s be boy´s.

Another official marker of the fact that we are IN a new ´Dark Ages.´ As before, traditions, knowledge and a lot of human progress will be flushed away by the new order. All because of a brainwashing media that the Nazis would have loved, and a fat, stupid and lazy population that thought they were somehow entitled to the bounty of freedom and common sense.

The leftists gave the BSA no choice, the proverbial gun was to their heads. We do not give up on the BSA or our kids, instead we break out the Alinsky tactics and run them out of the BSA or nothing is safe including freedom to practice religion, believe me that is already happening.

This is when you fight! We are fighting for the safety and mental well being of our kids.

Obama the great destroyer!

In the midst of the eruption of near-daily scandals involving the Obama administration, let us not forget that until just a few months ago, Hillary Clinton was the most significant persona within that administration besides the president himself. Let us not also forget that notwithstanding the scandal-grenades going off all around us, Mrs. Clinton diligently plans her run for the presidency, even while several of those scandals are obviously and entirely her responsibility, exposing the State Department during her tenure as an utter sewer of corruption, cronyism, and fatal incompetence.

Former first daughter Chelsea Clinton says it´s time for a woman in the Oval Office, music to her mom Hillary Clinton´s ears. In a wide-ranging interview on MSNBC´s "NOW with Alex Wagner" Clinton was asked about getting a woman elected president, as her mother tried to do in 2008 and is expected to in 2016. She said: "We need women who are at the head of a boardroom, like at the head of the White House, at the head of kind of major scientific enterprises so that little girls everywhere can then think, you know what? I can do that,

SAN FRANCISCO - Lauren Grey didn´t think much about the gender recorded on her Illinois driver´s license until she went to test-drive a new car. Although she had been living as a woman for months and easily obtained a license with her new name and a picture reflecting her feminine appearance, Grey´s ID still identified her as male, puzzling the salesmen and prompting uncomfortable questions. "They are like, ´This doesn´t match.´ Then you have to go into the story: ´I was born male, but now I´m not,´" said Grey, 38, a graphic designer living in suburban Chicago.

N ot long ago, conservatives like myself were thrilled to find out that Fox News, often portrayed as the mouthpiece of the conservative movement, had parted ways with former governor of Alaska (and quitter) Sarah Palin. This was truly a cause for celebration. Those of us devoted to building a conservative movement capable of winning elections had come to view the former governor as the symbol of everything, and I do mean everything, wrong with the modern conservative movement. But now, Roger Ailes has rehired her. And in so doing, Ailes has issued a painful reminder that he cares far more

Over the years, I’ve read plenty of claims that we’re witnessing a “crackup” of liberals or conservatives (or sometimes both at the same time). Normally, I react by rolling my eyes. For me, “crackup” claims are a almost always hack way of expressing unjustified triumphalism. But now I think I see a crackup. Given the scandal-a-week Obama administration, you might think that the crackup, if any, is looming on the left. But that would be to ignore the left’s tendency to march more or less in lockstep through any scandal or storm. No, the crackup I see coming is among conservatives.

While our corrupt media has done its best to turn the page on Barack Obama´s myriad of scandals, the deep-dive numbers in a new Fox News poll are absolutely devastating for the president. These numbers also reflect what we are seeing in other polls and Obama´s overall approval ratings -- though the media are willfully ignoring reporting on both. In a Fox News column (Snip) Chris Stirewalt extrapolated these brutal numbers: -- 56 percent of voters believe Obama did not try to rescue the doomed garrison in Benghazi, Libya because he didn’t want to risk his re-election.

In the latest black eye for the scandal-ridden State Department, a whistleblower claims she was run out of the foreign service after complaining about a consul general’s alleged office trysts with subordinates and hookers.Kerry Howard says she was bullied, harassed and forced to resign after she exposed US Consul General Donald Moore’s alleged security-threatening shenanigans in the Naples, Italy, office. As the post’s community-liaison officer, Howard was charged with keeping workplace peace and advising higher-ups on the state of morale, but when she revealed allegations about her boss, State Department officials swept it under the rug,

When the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (“Obamacare”) was being debated, proponents were accused of saddling Americans with inferior and expensive health care while keeping generous coverage for themselves at taxpayer expense. To rebut that allegation and build confidence in the bill, a provision was added mandating that members of Congress – and their staff members – get there coverage through the new exchange system the bill set up. Now that the time to sign up for exchange coverage is nearing, a Democratic member, Rep. John Larson (D., Conn.), is saying that

Among all the unanswered questions about the IRS’s illegal targeting of conservative organizations, one is most crucial: Who ordered this extreme scrutiny? Amazingly, IRS inspector general J. Russell George, responsible for the investigation asking those questions about the IRS, has testified that he did not obtain that information. Details of that testimony are interesting. Representative Tom Graves (R., Ga.) asked, “Have you asked the individuals who ordered them to use this extra scrutiny to punish, or penalize, or postpone, or deny?” George turns around to confer with his assistant. Just the fact that the inspector general

Hello, calling Sarah Palin! Has anyone seen her? Where is she? Has Sarah Palin left the building? Is the Palin magic gone forever? No. The Palin charisma and mass appeal are still alive and well. Certain people are born gifted with "It" -- something that compels you to watch them. Sarah Palin is one such individual. Though politically tarred, feathered, and run out of town on a rail by the left and a few spineless Republicans, I pray for the day when my favorite gladiator Sarah Palin returns to the arena.

Secret Service spooks are disguising themselves as Farmers to protect Barack Obama from terrorist threats at the G8 summit. They have even bought a fleet of Tractors ahead of the US President’s arrival in Northern Ireland tomorrow for the two-day meeting. The agents’ plan is to pose as local farmers in the sprawling fields around the five-star lakeside hotel complex hosting the huge event. But locals near the Lough Erne resort reckon it will not take any potential terrorists long to spot the spooks — as their sparkling tractors are all brand new.
