Our Most Polarizing President
Commentary, by Peter Wehner

Original Article

Barack Obama is a record-setting president. He is the most polarizing president in the history of polling. According to the Gallup organization, during his fourth year in office, an average of 86 percent of Democrats and 10 percent of Republicans approved of the job Barack Obama did as president. That 76-percentage-point gap ties George W. Bush’s fourth year as the most polarized years in Gallup records. Now let’s dial the clock back a year, when Jeffrey Jones of the Gallup organization wrote, “The historically high gap between partisans’ job approval ratings of Barack Obama continued during Obama’s third year in office,

I find it difficult to equate Obama with the word President.
Do Presidents play the race card?
Do Presidents take 7 million dollar vacations?
Do Presidents speak slang and have poor grammer and shoot baskets for recreation?
Do Presidents blame everyone and everything but themselves?
Do Presidents spend more time golfing than governing?
Do Presidents pal around with former domestic terrorists?

Mr. Obama is a Trojan Horse, who arose from nowhere and somehow collected some $800 million to run his first campaign in 2008. Yes, he hates America and the Constitution, and he does his best to sow discord among those he hates, but he is also a serviceable tool for those who "manage" him. Think George Soros. There are others, and these rich folks should be identified and given great publicity for their hard work in wrecking the Republic and impoverishing the People while enriching themselves and becoming more powerful.

not only most polarizing, but most damaging to race relations in this country...quite a legacy

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- Democrat Anthony Weiner said that the new sexting firestorm that set his City Hall campaign reeling last week will in the end make him a stronger mayor and better able to deliver for Staten Island and the rest of the city. "I´m going to be a successful mayor because of it, because it´s going to give me a level of independence," he told the Advance in an exclusive interview. "I´m not constructing a campaign around the approval of my peers. I´m constructing a campaign around the aspirations of my neighbors."

Rush Limbaugh began his radio show Monday morning by addressing the news that Cumulus Media, the second-biggest radio broadcaster in the country, plans to drop his show from its stations by the end of the year. Limbaugh assured his readers that “nothing is going to change” in terms of their ability to hear him every morning. “There was another POLITICO story that ran last night on this program,” Limbaugh began, referring to Dylan Byers‘ report. “Someday, I am looking forward to detailing all of this for you,” Limbaugh continued, but for now he said he “must use proper business restraint.”

Secretary of the Treasury Jack Lew, who oversees the IRS, made the rounds of four Sunday morning TV talk shows (all but CBS’s Face the Nation) to promote President Obama’s latest “pivot” to the economy, but ABC’s George Stephanopoulos and CNN’s Candy Crowley failed to take advantage of the opportunity to press him on the IRS scandal. NBC’s David Gregory squeezed a question in at the very end of their session, but then didn’t follow up on Lew’s insistence “there’s no evidence of any political involvement.” Gregory: “Mr. Secretary, I’ll leave it there.

The 60 million yuan (£6.4 million) Jibaozhai Museum, located in Jizhou, a city in the northern province of Hebei, opened in 2010 with its 12 exhibition halls packed with apparently unique cultural gems. But the museum’s collection, while extensive, appears ultimately to have been flawed. On Monday, the museum’s ticket offices were shut amid claims that many of the exhibits were in fact knock-offs which had been bought for between 100 yuan (£10.70) and 2,000 yuan (£215). The museum’s public humiliation began earlier this month when Ma Boyong, a Chinese writer,

In the 10-11 p.m. hour Saturday night, when Zimmerman was acquitted in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin, MSNBC had just 1,298,000 total viewers according to the preliminary ratings. First-place Fox News (3,682,000) had nearly three times as many, and MSNBC was also far behind HLN (2,203,000 viewers) and runner-up CNN (3,407,000).

This is a national story. It’s a major scandal – and you don’t know who the point guy, or gal, that’s tasked with getting to the bottom of this debacle?

The Obama administration has decided to delay until 2015 its enforcement of the employer mandate, a provision in its health-care law that requires businesses to provide insurance to employees. Assistant Treasury Secretary Mark J. Mazur announced the change in a statement on Tuesday, noting the administration’s concern that businesses won’t be ready to comply. My colleague Chris Flavelle writes that the decision boosts the odds that other groups will be able to win further changes to the law, such as eliminating the excise tax on medical devices. It may also create some stress on the implementation

WASHINGTON — U.S. officials insisted Tuesday that extraordinary security measures for nearly two dozen diplomatic posts were to thwart an “immediate, specific threat,” a claim questioned by counterterrorism experts, who note that the alert covers an incongruous set of nations from the Middle East to an island off the southern coast of Africa. Analysts don’t dispute the Obama administration’s narrative that it’s gleaned intelligence on a plot involving al Qaida’s most active affiliate, the Yemen-based Arabian Peninsula branch. That would explain why most U.S. posts in the Persian Gulf are on lockdown, including the U.

Critics of the president are convinced that Barack Obama will do lasting damage to the U.S. I doubt it. Obama came to power in the third year of large Democratic congressional majorities. In his first referendum, he lost the House and he may soon lose the Senate; in other words, there followed a somewhat normal reaction against a majority party. Obama’s popularity rating is well below 50%, despite an obsequious media and a brilliantly negative billion-dollar campaign that long ago turned Mitt Romney into a veritable elevator-using, equestrian-marrying, canine-hating monster. In a rare diplomatic snub, President Obama is canceling plans to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow next month. The decision reflects both U.S. anger over Russia´s harboring of National Security Agency leaker Edward Snowden and growing frustration within the Obama administration over what it sees as Moscow´s stubbornness on other key issues, including missile defense and human rights. Obama will still attend the Group of 20 economic summit in St. Petersburg, Russia, but a top White House official said the president had no plans to hold one-on-one talks with Putin while there.

MOSCOW — Russia on Wednesday faced a mounting campaign against its hosting of the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi after passing what campaigners called "barbaric" anti-gay legislation, six months before the opening of its biggest ever sporting event. British actor Stephen Fry called for Russia to be barred from hosting the Games in the Black Sea resort while gay rights campaigners handed over a 320,000-signature petition to the International Olympic Committee (IOC) urging it to condemn the law. Russian President Vladimir Putin in June signed into law legislation that punishes the dissemination of information about homosexuality to minors
