Liz Cheney for Wyoming
Senate talk grows

Now that she´s moved back to Wyoming, speculation is growing that Liz Cheney, the GOP activist and daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney is interested in political office. Fans told Secrets that it began right after she returned to Jackson, Wyoming and sparked anew when the state Chamber of Commerce said she would address them next month. Much of the speculation focuses on a potential Senate run should GOP Sen. Mike Enzi, up for reelection in 2014, decide against a bid. GOP strategists say that the Cheney´s roots in Wyoming,

We hear so much b.s. about women in the Senate. I say we do need women in the Senate, but they need to be women with a brain. (That would eliminate Barbara Boxer, for sure)They need to have qualifications other than just their gender. Liz Cheney would be a great Senator, Congresswoman, even President.

Ah, more royalty. The woman who let Shaha Riza run around the state department reading classified information without any US citizenship obligations, all to bail out paul wolfowitz and his ´girlfriend´ problems. And ol´ Shaha, a citizen of some dodgy arab country, made more money than Condi Rice.

It is good to be king.

Look forward to Liz bringing on Wolfowitz and all the hangers on from the neocon wing of the bush camp, a bunch that got us into the iraq war, failed to do it right, didn´t secure property rights, had one unintended consequence after another because they thought the war could be won in two weeks, and ultimately brought us obama. They don´t know a lot about economics either, just big spending and getting their kids hired at six figure salaries for their incompetence. Color me unimpressed, is this the best we can do? Recycling dynasties? Someone who got her job because of ol´ dad´s connections?

Don´t know about your facts, #9, but I do know that right now Liz Cheney is the ONLY one on the news warning people about the dangers of a rising tide of Islamists and exposing the tragic foreign policy that is getting people killed all over the world.
She´s gutsy, calm and truthful. I hope she wins a seat in the senate and starts banging this drum as loud as possible.

Liz Cheney has been raising her children and being a political activist part time. Now, apparently, she feels ready for a career. She is conservative, intelligent, and extremely competent. She would make a great Senator.

Liz Cheney´s work history at link below. Don´t tell me she got that State Dept job on her own merits.

And fine job she made of it, the nonstop Iraq mess and all the mistakes they made - from trusting that Chalabi charlatan to letting Shaha Riza run wild with state dept secrets you and I are not allowed to see, to letting gangs take over Iraq after saddam was thrown out which triggered the rise of the Iran-linked shiite mullahs like moqtada al-sadr, to failing to protect property rights, which made people go to al-sadr for protection - all created the Iraq mess that brought us Obama:

KABUL, Afghanistan — Afghanistan this weekend joined Syria and Venezuela and became the newest member of a select club of nations: those that have publicly backed the Russian annexation of Crimea. Citing “the free will of the Crimean people,” the office of President Hamid Karzai said, “we respect the decision the people of Crimea took through a recent referendum that considers Crimea as part of the Russian Federation.” To the casual observer, becoming the first Western-backed democracy to express support for the widely denounced referendum in Crimea might seem an odd tack for Afghanistan, which is heavily dependent on assistance from the

Jimmy Carter has been very active in the decades since his presidency, and his successors have occasionally called for his advice. Except, it turns out, the current occupant of the office. A clip from Carter’s upcoming Meet the Press interview reveals that President Obama is the first president since Carter left office not to solicit the Southern Democrat’s advice. Carter explained, “President Clinton did and President George W. Bush and H.W. Bush and even Ronald Reagan used to call on us to go into sensitive areas.” They all asked Carter to deal with “unsavory characters,” but Obama hasn’t reached out to

Last week, President Obama directed his Homeland Security Department to examine its current deportation practices -- "to see how it can conduct enforcement more humanely, within the confines of the law," the White House announced on March 13. But with immigration reform stalled in Congress, what more can Obama do? "I think he´s going to wait until August," said Telemundo anchor and immigration-reform advocate José Díaz-Balart. And if Congress doesn´t act on immigration reform by then, "I wouldn´t be surprised if he starts making some very controversial executive orders to mitigate the pain of millions of people who face deportation," Díaz-Balart told

Susan Rice, national security adviser to President Barack Obama, said on Friday that the administration still believes there is a diplomatic solution to the crisis in Ukraine as Russian troops mobilized along the country’s entire eastern border. CBS News reported on Friday that a mass mobilization of Russian forces was taking place on Ukraine’s eastern border with at least twice as many troops as the 20,000 number originally reported. The defense “exercise” included tanks and tactical aircraft and appeared to show signs of a logistical buildup required for a sustained operation. In 2011, over 8,000 kids were suspended from preschool — preschool! — in America. More than half were black, despite comprising less than half of the student population. The odds are probably better than even that you will be annoyed by that. Which is fine. I accept that response.
