MSNBC Host: Thank God and Country Abortion Was There to Save Me

| We´re used to MSNBC´s Toure saying outlandish things, but his latest commentary in celebration of the 40t anniversary of Roe v. Wade is by far the worst. During a segment last week, Toure went on what he called an abortion rant in which he thanked God and country abortion was there to "save him" at a time when taking care of a baby and becoming a father would have been inconvenient for him. He also refers to abortion as a "safety net." Got that? Toure was willing to end the life of an unborn child so

Comments: You know a society is doomed when close to a majority of the people think like this. It´s so sick and twisted.

There are many adopted people alive today that are very, very glad more people didn´t think that way when they were conceived. Pathetic.

Somehow I think that he´s awfully glad his mother didn´t exercise her choice to terminate him in fetus form for the sake of convenience to her.
I´m pro-life but his being gives me pause to think that there is some societal benefit to the procedure.
Unfortunately there were doubtless many life prematurely taken who would have made positive contributions to the world, and then there are the Tourés who slip through.

How dense must you be to think that this is morally acceptable? The same man who would have a fit at the idea of a woman using a fire-arm to defend herself against rape, will sanction the murder of an innocent to preserve his way of life.

I wonder if toure would feel the same way about his god, obama. Obama is the poster child for abortion. He was the unwanted product of a white whore and a black drunk that was push off on two communist grandparents who they push onto a communist, pedafile Frank Marshall Davis. So if Roe v. Wade had been around in 1960 barack obama would have most certainly been aborted.

I don´t understand how this man was able to make a decision that only a woman can make. The article does not make clear just HOW he did it; did he use knock-out drops? Tied her up and gagged her?
He MAY have been instrumental in that he made his wish known to her, and she agreed, or they were probably in agreement the whole time. However, SHE made the final decision, not him, as there os no legal way that he could force her to have an abortion.
Finally, they compare what this GUY said, tobsomething from Salon, tat was obviously expressed by a woman. I totally do not get what this articleis attempting here, but one simply cannot put the burden of the "choice" solely on the father. It´s simply impossible. No matter how many men favor abortion, it would fall by the wayside if it didnot have the support of females.
Until the pro-life crowd (of which I include myself) understands this, and tries to turn each decision to abort as a solitary one, decided upon by the one person who can end the practice, and CHANGE that decision, you aren´t saving any innocent lives.

Here is some good advise for you Toure. When you go to meet your maker - make sure you make this number one on your list. He will then refer you to someone named Lucifer. You´ll like where he takes you - it is a place where liberals will be plentiful and those who loved abortion on earth will have a warm feeling for eternity.

On Saturday, President Obama handed over the camera and teleprompter to the mother of a victim of Sandy Hook Elementary shooter Adam Lanza. Explaining his exploitative choice via email to his entire WhiteHouse.gov email list, Obama explained: Each week, like many presidents before me, I sit down to record a short address to the nation. It´s something I take very seriously because it offers a chance to bring focus to an issue that needs to be part of the national dialogue. But today, I´ve asked someone to take my place.

"Comprehensive immigration reform" is shaping up to be the next Obamacare. By negotiating in secret, by drafting an enormously complicated bill, and by rushing passage with almost no time for public debate, the Senators who are pushing immigration reform are following the same path that divided the nation in 2009-10 and led to one of the worst expansions of federal regulation, spending and power in American history. Though they may have the best of intentions as regards the underlying result, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) and his colleagues in the

Ben Carson, meet Herman Cain. The duo are scheduled to be together Monday when Cain — the former Republican presidential candidate — hosts about 10 prominent black conservatives in Washington D.C. Cain and Carson have several things in common: both have been encouraged to run for president after wowing conservative crowds excited about the prospect of a black conservative in the White House. Neither have ever served in public office. Cain — the former CEO of Godfather’s Pizza — ran for president as a Republican in 2012. Although Levin would not offer the congressman’s name on air, he has been a vocal critic of various members of the House Republican leadership in the past. But Levin called the situation “fascism.” “Well, it has come to my attention that there is a Republican congressman out there who doesn’t like what I’ve been saying,” Levin said. “It has come to my attention that there is a

During a House Ways and Means Committee hearing on Friday, Texas Republican Rep. Cass Sunsetein, one of President Obama’s leading left-wing, university eggheads, has penned an interesting piece in New Republic explaining how the nanny state is really a very important and useful aspect of today’s modern Democrat scheme. It’s for your own good, don’t you know? Launching his April 8 piece, “Why Paternalism Is Your Friend,” Sunstein evokes New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s (mostly failed, not that Sunstein says so) nanny state efforts to take away his constituents’ freedom on such things as trans fats, sodas, and guns. Sunstein points out that to his mind, all

Anthony Weiner, D-N.Y., and his wife, Huma Abedin, want you to know about Weiner’s “sexting” scandal that led him to resign from Congress in 2011, reporter Jonathan Van Meter pauses the story. Van Meter, a contributing editor at Vogue and New York Magazine, had worked diligently on this New York Times Sunday Magazine cover story – multiple interviews with Weiner and Abedin, both as a couple and separately. Democratic Illinois Sen. Durbin’s relationship with Chicago’s embattled Save-A-Life Foundation began in the mid-1990s and continued for at least several years, with Durbin even being listed as a member of the foundation’s “Advisory Council,” according to the documents. President Barack Obama also had a relationship with Save-A-Life during his tenure as an Illinois state senator and U.S. senator, meeting with the organization’s founder and

Don’t expect First Lady Michelle Obama to continue a high-profile role in the gun control debate. Administration officials with knowledge of the White House strategy tell The Hill the first lady will not be an active part of the debate going forward, at least in terms of gun policy. Obama will instead be focused mostly on youth empowerment, as she has in recent years, continuing her mentoring programs and “Let’s Move!” her childhood obesity initiative. In a rare move, the first lady entered the national discussion on gun control earlier this week when she delivered

I’m not sure how widely it was known that Jonathan Winters, whom Robin Williams thought the best comic of his generation, was a conservative. In any case, I sometimes used to show students in my classes on the American Founding the early scene from “It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad World” where the whole gang tries to deliberate about how to divide the loot fairly when they finally got to the site where the loot was hidden, and how it could illustrate . . . the “great compromise” of the constitutional convention of 1787 in Philadelphia.

Several resolutions re-establishing the party´s official position were adopted without discussion on Friday. One resolution states the party´s belief that "the institution of marriage is the solid foundation upon which our society is built and in which children thrive; it is based on the relationship that only a man and a woman can form." The RNC also expresses its “support for marriage as the union of one man and one woman,

Pro golfers, golf writers, and TV commentators are up in arms that Tiger Woods was only given a 2-stroke penalty for his illegal drop on the 15th hole yesterday. Tiger said last night that he dropped his ball two yards behind his previous spot, clearly violating the rule that you must drop "as nearly as possible" to your original spot. Golf people are not happy about it. They say that the new rule is B.S. (or it´s at least being misinterpreted), and Tiger should DQ himself to save the integrity of the game.

Few Americans can not answer this question: who is the worst domestic mass murderer in United States’ history? Due to the United States media, most are aware that Timothy McVeigh slaughtered 168 people with a bomb in 1995. Most Americans also know the names of our three most monstrous serial killers: “The Green River Killer” Gary Ridgeway, Ted Bundy, John Wayne Gacy. The U.S. media is again responsible for the general awareness of these men; these stories deserved — and received — national attention due to our common interest in personal safety, the rule of law

In Philadelphia, at a human abattoir on Lancaster Avenue, is where it ends, not where it starts. It starts with the perversion of language. It starts when the icons of a dissipated culture reduce a baby to a “fetus.” From there, Yeats’s blood-dimmed tide rolls rapidly in. Before long, a baby is not a person but a punishment, as President Barack Obama framed the matter in his familiar off-the-cuff iciness. Of course, to describe newborn children in their boundless possibilities and wonder would be to acknowledge, foremost, their humanity. That is why, instead, abortion enthusiasts must grope for words

With President Obama, there’s always a catch. In the 2014 budget he announced last week, Obama proposed a more accurate way of calculating the inflation rate for annual cost-of-living increases in Social Security. It’s a technical change in pursuit of honesty and good government. And if adopted, it would cause benefits to grow more slowly, though almost imperceptibly so. Republican leaders in Congress ought to be delighted since they had “championed”—Obama’s word—the idea in the first place. Then came the catch. The president’s price for adopting this gentle reform was hundreds of billions in new tax increases.

Here is something I don’t understand: liberals are often revealed as vile, vulgar hatemongers–not all of them, of course, but far too many–yet they never seem to pay a penalty at the polls. Why is that? Margaret Thatcher’s death has been the latest occasion for the Left to show its true stripes. All across the U.K., there have been demonstrations–vulgar at best, and violent at worst. In Bristol, lefties celebrating a Thatcher “death street party” started fires, destroyed property and battled police: This evening in Trafalgar Square, liberals have turned out for a long-planned celebration of Thatcher’s death:

TALLAHASSEE - Picture this: You´re in the left lane of the interstate, driving a little below the speed limit, when some guy zips up behind you and swerves past you on the right. Then you notice the blue lights flashing. You´re savoring the satisfaction of seeing a trooper actually nab an aggressive driver — until you realize it´s you he´s pulling over. This could happen, if not very often, under a major transportation package expected to be taken up in the Senate Appropriations Committee next week. Introduced by Sen.
