Hints of rivalry surface

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R) are bumping elbows as both work to establish leadership roles on immigration and education reform while weighing 2016 presidential bids. Bush on Friday appeared to criticize Rubio’s strategy for overhauling the nation’s immigration laws through a series of small bills instead of a comprehensive package as “shortsighted and self-defeating,” although he did not name Rubio. “Some policy makers are calling for piecemeal changes — such as issuing visas for

Comments:
As far as I´m concerned we don´t need another Bush or Clinton in the White House. They´re starting to exhibit the tendencies of the Kennedys in their sense of entitlement.

Right, #s 5&6. Keep the House and expand in the Senate. 2014.

We can do this ONLY if we unite. We´re like a herd of cats right now. This petty squabbling and back-stabbing has got to stop.

I want to hear people articulating PRINCIPLES. I want conservative precepts clearly stated, they are the most powerful, practical and persuasive of political principles. They are also the most liberating.

If the Party doesn´t unite, the Dem/Lefties will utterly destroy the Republic.

Some big egos are going to have to put the Republic ahead of their personal ambition... extremely hard to do.

Opposing Liberty are the Dem/Lefties, puffed up to the point of bursting with arrogance and hubris.

It makes a difference when we call Congress. We can not give up.

The Dem/Lefties are NOT going to make the same mistake they made in 2010.

What´s the point of voting for a republican when he votes to raise taxes and not cut spending! Since the result is NO DIFFERENT then if a Dem is in office?

I´m ruling out Jeb Bush. Who could bear another Bush as President? I give George Bush credit for keeping America safe after 911..but that´s it. He was definitely a socially liberal Republican with a terrible immigration policy. Calling American citizens who desire legal immigration "nativists"..an insult to honest hard working Americans. Jeb is no better. He held many private meetings discussing his approval of combined 3 Americas. Sort of like the European Union. He also spent taxpayer money like it was water. Never defended himself against the left´s accusations. So Americans were forced to listen to this claptrap for 8 years and to this day it continues to the pointthat people believe many false statements to be truth. If Jeb runs all I can say is here we go again.

A "how-to" guide published by a prominent journalism school to help reporters covering Islam-related issues is under fire from critics who say it sacrifices the First Amendment to political correctness. "Islam for Journalists,” an online guide from Washington State University, says coverage of the Muslim world can be fair, yet inoffensive without compromising journalistic principles. Yet it pointedly condemns publication of images of Muhammed, an act which is forbidden by the Koran, and seems to equate it with violence carried out in the name of Islam. “Across the Muslim world extremists are wielding their swords with grisly effect, but the pen…can

WASHINGTON -- A still-secret Senate Intelligence Committee report calls into question the legal foundation of the CIA’s use of waterboarding and other harsh interrogation techniques on suspected terrorists, a finding that challenges the key defense on which the agency and the Bush administration relied in arguing that the methods didn’t constitute torture. The report also found that the spy agency failed to keep an accurate account of the number of individuals it held, and that it issued erroneous claims about how many it detained and subjected to the controversial interrogation methods.
