| Sarah Palin will no longer be a paid contributor to Fox News. The former Alaska governor and the network have parted ways, a source close to Palin told ABC News. The same source said it was her decision to leave the network and that Fox offered her an opportunity to renew her contract. Fox News did not immediately return ABC News´ request for comment, but Fox News Executive Vice President Bill Shine told The New York Times in a statement, "We have thoroughly enjoyed our association with Gov. Palin. We wish her the best in her future endeavors."

Comments: Was she really there all that much?

Article says the story broke here:
http://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2013/01/25/sarah_palin_parts_ways_with_fox_news_116807.html
From that article:
“It’s my understanding that Gov. Palin was offered a contract by FOX, and she decided not to renew the arrangement,” the source close to Palin told RCP. “She remains focused on broadening her message of common-sense conservatism across the country and will be expanding her voice in the national discussion.”

Fox, including Greta, haven´t called on her very much in the last 6-9 months. I suspect there were restrictions in actions that she could take while under contract to Fox as a "contributor". And it is not necessarily a plus to be tied to any network. This frees her to act as she wishes.

I know for a fact they cancelled some of her appearances during the conventions. FOX muzzled E.D. Hill when she asked what the heck the fistbump thing was during the 2008 elections - she got demoted, then fired.
FOX muzzled Michelle Malkin when she used to fill in for O´Reilly and said something they didn´t like. Now Laura Ingraham is there.
Meanwhile Jemmu, Kristin, Beckel, Colmes, Juan and now Dennis can tell any lies they want so Fox can falsely claim to be ´fair and balanced´. There are truths and there are lies and they do not deserve equal time, FOX!

She is a cheery All-American patriot who has so much to offer this country´s goals of Life, Liberty & Justice for ALL, so we hope to hear more of her wisdom regarding living & thriving in the USA again very soon.
With amazing good cheer & grace, the entire Palin Family has endured many bogus barbs by the vile statists who have stalked her mercilessly for years and who still don´t understand that CHARACTER COUNTS and so Palin is the victor.

I noticed that Palin´s appearances on Fox dropped sharply after O´Reilly conducted a telephone interview of her and she wouldn´t let him interrupt her and tell her what she was saying. She talked right over him, saying the communication between the studio and her home was bad and she couldn´t tell what was being said. I thought she was terrific and I was cheering her on from my Living Room.
She is, to my knowledge (which is limited because I don´t watch Fox much any more), the only person who managed to control an interview with O´Reilly....which probably led to her lack of subsequent appearances on Fox.

#28, you can thank the DNC, the leftist operatives and their army of lawyers for creating the situation that made it impossible for any Alaska state business to get done and tying up all their resources with excessive frivolous inquiries and lawsuits (all of which were thrown out). That is why she resigned--for the good of the state. Still, she accomplished more in her short tenure than most Governors do in two terms!

Beautiful Rosa Parks sits alone in the Montgomery, Ala., city bus she desegregated, an image endlessly replicated, most recently on an American postage stamp issued in February to commemorate Black History Month and what would have been Parks’s 100th birthday.(Snip) President Obama voiced the familiar view that she was “just wanting to get home after a long day at work” and “may not have been planning to make history.” But as Jeanne Theoharis shows in her insightful biography, “The Rebellious Life of Mrs. Rosa Parks,” this perspective obscures Parks’s lifelong activism and “fierce determination.”

Leaders of the five BRICS nations plan to create a development bank in a direct challenge to the World Bank that they accuse of Western bias. The bank would use $50 billion of seed capital shared equally between Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa but would undoubtedly be dominated by China. It would be the first institution of the informal forum started in 2009 amid the economic meltdown to chart a new and more equitable world economic order.

SANFORD -- For the first time, we are hearing from the teenager believed to be the last person to talk to Trayvon Martin moments before his deadly confrontation with George Zimmerman. The teen, known only as "Witness 8," is considered to be the prosecution´s key witness, but Zimmerman´s attorneys said she lied during a deposition by the Martin family´s attorney, Benjamin Crump. A new motion filed Monday said the state knew Witness 8, said to be a girlfriend of Trayvon Martin´s from Miami, had been lying, but never came out with it.

SANFORD - Attorneys for George Zimmerman have filed a new defense witness list, and it includes more than 130 people. Among them: Trayvon Martin´s mother and father, their attorney Benjamin Crump, former Sanford police Chief Bill Lee Jr. and former State Attorney Norm Wolfinger. It also includes Sanford City Manager Norton Bonaparte and several other members of Trayvon´s family, including his step-brother and the Oviedo cousin with whom he´d spent the night the evening before he was fatally shot. Attorneys seldom call all the witnesses they list, still the list placed in the official court file Monday is extraordinary

A bill advancing through the Texas Legislature could drastically decrease the number of legal abortion facilities in the state. Supporters of Senate Bill 537, which would increase regulations for abortion facilities, say it will improve women’s safety. But abortion rights advocates say that the bill is a thinly veiled effort to close 37 of the state’s 42 abortion facilities, and that it would reduce women’s access to legal abortion. “I understand the suspicion, but this really is about improving health care for women getting abortions,” said the bill’s author, State Senator Bob Deuell, a Republican

President Obama´s biggest gaffe yesterday when speaking of California Attorney General Kamala Harris was not in flirtatiously complimenting her as "the best-looking attorney general," but in introducing an observation from the system of beauty into a forum that was about the system of power. What´s that, you say? Irin Carmon does a great job in Salon in laying out the bounds of propriety for when it´s appropriate to talk about a woman´s looks as a general matter. But I´ve long felt we lack a solid theoretical underpinning for easily discussing these issues, and why precisely it is that

Put out an all-points bulletin: Millions of Americans have gone missing from the workforce. Every month that those would-be workers are gone raises the odds that they might never come back, dimming the prospects for future economic growth. The vanishing trend is more than a decade old, but it accelerated during the Great Recession. Throughout 2012, economists held out hope that it had stopped. But then came Friday’s jobs report, and hopes were dashed. The Labor Department reported that the U.S. labor force — everyone who has a job or is looking for one — shrank
