The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists is recommending that physicians routinely screen women and adolescent girls for "reproductive and sexual coercion." This power-trip behavior by men, according to the Feb. 2013 issue of Obstetrics and Gynecology, includes explicit attempts to impregnate a partner against her will or force her to have sex against her will; control the outcome of a pregnancy by forcing its continuation or abortion; and sabotaging birth control methods by "hiding, withholding, or destroying a partner´s oral contraceptives; breaking or poking holes in a condom on purpose or

Heavy sigh. Doctors won´t have any time to practice medicine when they are becoming medical police. I thought there were already laws in place for them to report any evidence of criminal acts.

Just how does a doctor determine that holes have been poked in a condom?

I wonder if this is directed at certain ethnic groups (use your imagination)?

So will they be watching out for signs of what Whoopi Goldberg calls "rape rape" or what Todd Akin calls "legitimate rape"?

It seems the ACOG physicians are very familiar with "power-trip behavior" because that´s what this nonsense seems like. Do they really think that because a doctor asks the question, that girls are going to suddenly tell the truth about their problems? I switched OBs years ago because every visit they asked if my "partner" ever hit me. I told them the first time that my "husband" didn´t do stuff like that because if he ever did he wouldn´t be my husband. I got the distinct impression they didn´t like my attitude.

Dog whistle.

This is really about Sen. Menendez and his visits to underage Dominican prostitutes.
Isn´t it?

And of course it´s a warning shot at the usual suspect...
BillyBoob Klintoon.

Next time Rapist in Chief sexually assaults a victim, he needs to do so much more than
merely recommend...
"better put some ice on that"

Btw, holes in condoms don´t matter to BillyBoob.
He´s shooting blanks, according to his Little Rocks (pardon the pun) urologist.

Which is why Chelsea looks like she´s Webb Hubbel´s daughter.
Because she is. Webb´s her DNA Dad.
Youbetcha!

Okay now, OB-GYNs...

Soooo, Planned Parenthood gets away with NOT reporting the statatory rape of 14 year girls by their 34 year old boyfriends, yet anything that happens between a married couple is immediately under suspicion?

Got it.

I think it is an excellent idea. Doctors are in a unique position to help women who are being abused to the point of not even thinking they have the right to protest their spouse´s caddish behavior.

An ob-gyn is able to determine this? Will the ob-gyn´s investigation be covered by insurance? Is this in Obamacare? Unknown as lawmakers have not read it. Isn´t this why our founders set up a court system to have advocates state their cases before a law judge and a jury for the facts? Will ob-gyn be given special training to make these determinations? I ask because it has not been long since I noted that doctors haven´t been trained to look for aneurysm when patients come in complaining about bubbles in their chest.

Former GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney is facing harsh criticism from some Tea Partiers after his Tuesday evening remarks denouncing those who want to fight to defund Obamacare in the upcoming continuing resolution (CR) that funds government operations. Speaking to a New Hampshire GOP fundraised, the failed 2012 GOP candidate said he opposes Obamacare but shunned efforts by conservatives to try to defund it. “I badly want ObamaCare to go away, and stripping it of funds has appeal,” Romney said at the GOP fundraiser, according to The Hill. “But we need to exercise great care about any talk

Newly uncovered video shows Lois Lerner discussing the political pressure that swirled around the IRS in 2010. Lerner says "everyone" was "screaming at" the IRS to stop the flood of money pouring into the 2010 elections through 501(c)(4) groups as a result of Citizens United. Lerner spoke to a small group at Duke´s Sanford School of Public Policy on October 19, 2010, just two weeks before the wave election that brought the Tea Party and Republicans significant gains in Congress. During her appearance Lerner was asked about the flow of money from corporations to 501(c)(4) groups.

Texas Rep. While lawmakers left Capitol Hill for the August recess, Mr. Stockman, a Republican, said he’s filed a House resolution that would require any decision to increase the nation’s debt limit or any continuing resolution to fund the government to include language that “constructively repeals” the Affordable Care Act by refusing to appropriate funds for it. Outspoken conservatives in the Senate are pushing the same

Despite a university professor’s gruesome past being revealed, his job is safe and his support among the student body remains firm. Last week a local Texas newspaper reported that Millikin University psychology professor James St. James is actually James Wolcott, the man who, at the age of 15, murdered his mother, father, and teenage sister in 1967. During trial, the young Wolcott admitted to killing his family but pleaded insanity due to mental illness compounded by weeks of huffing airplane glue. He used a .22-caliber rifle to fatally shoot all three family members in the chest and/or head.

Federal prosecutors have filed criminal charges against an alleged militia leader in connection with the Sept. 11, 2012 terrorist attacks on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, CBS News has confirmed. Ahmed Khattalah becomes the first person charged in connection with the attack that killed four Americans. Khattalah is a Libyan militia leader who admitted to being in Benghazi last Sept. 11, Global Post reported. Reuters reported last year that officials considered Khattala a suspect in the attacks but U.S. investigators were not sure about the scope of his role. The charges against him are under seal.

The federal government has determined that obesity is a national health epidemic, and while obesity-prevention goals were established at the national level in 2012, the question now is how to determine if those goals are being met -- not just nationally, but in your very own neighborhood. The Institute of Medicine (IOM) has just released a report listing 83 ways to "assess the progress made in every community" -- and at the national level -- in the fight against obesity. Some of the benchmarks would require new legislation or executive action to change the way we live and work. (See below)

For nearly a year, we have had no answer to why the administration lied about Benghazi — why it told the world, not to mention the parents of our murdered SEALs at the funeral of their sons, that the cause of that fatal conflagration was an anti-Islamic video no one saw, when the various arms of our executive branch (White House, State and intelligence) already knew, or strongly suspected, it was a terror attack orchestrated by al-Qaeda affiliates. You only have to read the now infamous talking points to know that. That this lie was deeply immoral is obvious.
