On November 6, 2012, almost 66 million Americans traded the nation´s future for a chance to worship a false god. In a country of over 315 million people, a minority of eligible voters traded prosperity for the illusion of forced fairness. In reelecting Barack Obama, with fewer votes than in 2008, voters traded harmony for the divisiveness of America´s most polarizing president. Woody Allen said, "eighty percent of success is just showing up." How true, because a little more than 20% of America has successfully forced upon the nation 4 more years of Barack the failure.
FTA: Barack Obama is the worst thing to ever happen to this nation, and most Americans support neither him nor his policies.
Barack Obama, redolent with the stench of false supremacy, is now convinced that he is the greatest man to have ever lived -- not too difficult a task, since he had always suspected as much anyway.
Every sentence and every paragraph is a gem. Finally someone has the courage to call a "spade a spade" - can I say that without being called a nasty name? Anyway, this is a great article and should be a Must Read - it just might get through to some morons.
Republicans share the blame in this for not being able to get working, tax paying, constitution respecting Americans to the polls in sufficient numbers. Racial minorities cast 28% of the votes while numbering 23% of the electorate. I am not a person of the white race but (believe) that is a recipe for national suicide.
I wonder how many working people vote? They are exhausted from taking all the responsibilities. Others want that money and vote to get it. Maybe we need new vote at work voter capabilities and voter drives.
Obama could not be where he is and could not do what he does if the media were not behind him. They are the ones pushing their idol and creating a false image for the low information peasants- who unfortunately vote.
Taking from those who have earned and handing it to those who have not - the entire modus operandi of the Democrats and the root principle of socialism - is immoral, not just misguided or dumb. Immoral. Until Republicans get this and can convey it, in terms of morality, there is no hope. You cannot convey the immorality of the socialist ideology when you grant it "good intentions".
This is currently out of reach of the GOP, though, since it still stubbornly supports so many of the Democrats´ redistributionist programs.
To the culpability of our Republican leaders for luke warm support of Romney, add the Tea Parties. I had a go at the head of my Tea Party Patriots and got nowhere with her. They supported conservative Senators and Reps but sat on their hands as to Romnney.
To that add in the damage done by Newt Gingrich who had no way open to the nomination because he was not on the ballot in Virginia and in some counties in other states but who, despite having to know that (he´s not stupid though his followers were) would not get out of the way or shut up. I got a phone call from someone on his behalf yesterday and as soon as she identified herself I erupted with "Newt Gingrich! If it wasn´t for him we could have elected Romney!" and hung up. I am usually polite to everyone. I must be at the end of my patience.
Why the Republican bashing?? Obama is a disaster and we urgently need leaders to stop him and all the people in a position to obstruct this catastrophe are mute and paralyzed. The author of this article has done a great job of exposing Obama. There is little anyone could add to it and no hope of changing Obama. The only hope is to resurrect the opposition from the dead! Remember the Benghazi cover up and "investigation" . There is no opposition to the worst administration ever.
Come on #11, was it Newt that phoned in the last two debates after being so strong in the first? Did Newt tell the RNC that relying on an untested computer program on Election Day was a good idea? Was that Newt strolling arm-in-arm on the beaches of NJ, or was that Judas Chris Christie?
Blaming Newt because he put up a good fight in the primaries is fake, phony, fraudulent.

obama can´t function without an enemy. Disarm him and let him have his way. The results will be devastating, but the sooner he and he alone is held responsible for all the misery he wants to foist on Americans, the better off we will be in the long run.
I agree with #8. There is a huge influx of new names posting. I suspect these are not the Republicans they would have you believe they are. They spew hopelessness and division amongst us and I for one, am getting sick of it. Maybe it´s time for a clean up on aisle 5?
He´s right, Obama needs to be ridiculed !! His raging, vindictive, unresolved psychological problems, and there are many, show us he cannot stand to be ridiculed, this arrogant would-be king. So, make it tough and funny and outrageous. Serious criticism will not work against the King and his Court made up of the supplicating Diane Sawyer, kiss ass TV media. This Gensert article is brilliant: ridicule the little king. Ridicule, ridicule, ridicule. He is psychologically weak and vulnerable. Go to the best professional analysis www.destructivepresident.com
It must be understood that a good many of "Republicans" in Congress have as their first priority is getting re-elected. EVERYTHING is secondary to that. As such, they become, over time, RINOS and Dim Lite. They like the idea of loading down various bills with earmarks because it proides federal dollars being spent in their own districts. And that makes the voters happy. Obozo has just taken this to a new high. Spread the dollars around to those who are expected to vote for him and belittle those who oppose him. And for good measure, do everything possible to destroy any and all opposition. And he has the best ally in the world. The media.

little guy, 1/25/2013 11:07:29 AM (No. 9138622)
We have a REAL big problem when you learn that almost 20% of the registered Republicans who showed up to vote on Election Day, didn´t vote for Romney/Ryan. They may not all have voted for Obammy but many did (while some didn´t vote for Prez at all and some even went 3rd party) you realize that there is little to be hopeful about. I´ve had my Republican friends say that keeping their kids on their medical until 26 was something they liked. Many older Republicans wanted the handouts to continue and the unemployed ones wanted 99 weeks of unemployment insurance! Romney talked about everyone pulling their own weight but many in his party don´t like that idea --- and voted accordingly.
Right now, many Republicans are starting to sound like old Civil War vets who keep thinking the South will rise again! It won´t. 150 years ago, many held on to their Confederate money, thinking it would come back into style. It didn´t. There has been a sea change in the country and we can´t just lay it all at Obammy´s feet. "We have met the enemy ... and he is us!". We need a new strategy. Pronto.
I don´t understand the moaning of some about attacking "Republicans". The Republican Party is to blame because they´ve let in way too many Democrats. There is no other way (except for live boy/dead girl) to explain the actions of federal level elected Republicans. What I´m really fighting for is an opposition party to the Democrats - our country runs better with at least 2 parties in opposition to each other. What we have now is closer to the old Soviet Union.
Gotta admire Gensert’s pluck. His “I’m mad as hell and not going to take it anymore” vow is exactly the attitude the GOP needs to cultivate. However, even Gensert doesn’t fully get it.
Republicans always head into elections locked and loaded. They just never seem to know who to aim at. Newt, for all his flaws, painted the target for us during the primaries. And we continued shooting at decoys when we somehow managed to avoid shooting ourselves in the foot.
The GOP’s real high-value target is not the 66 million Americans who voted for Obama. It’s not even Obama himself. It’s the media—the so-call Fourth Estate—which has become a cabal of fawning sycophants in the service of liberalism.
Republicans stood and cheered Newt when he challenged liberal moderators and refused to back down. We applauded because Newt was actually fighting back against the real foes of conservatism—the ones we face election after election no matter who Democrats nominate for any particular office.
To level the playing field, Republicans have to mount and sustain a full-frontal assault on liberal media bootlickers, brown-nosers, suck-ups, lap-dogs, etc., not because they are incredibly annoying (they are), but because their continued dereliction of duty poses a grave danger to our Republic.
No candidate should be given a pass instead of a thorough vetting. No politician should be immune from criticism. No leader should be able to dodge hard questions.
The GOP should hire Newt to run a GOP boot camp to train Republicans how to deal with the media—including how to make the media itself the focus of stories—to hinder JournoList types from sending their carefully-scripted, coordinated talking points “halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get it’s pants on.”
I´m not sure I understand the venom toward Rep electeds. If the base doesn´t care--and they couldn´t be bothered to turn out and vote unless some computer program told them to, apparently--why should the politicians care?
I beleive there isn´t a hair difference in any of these politicians in DC. We just elected a Republican to replace our Dem Congressman. He promised to be conservative and fought all the Republicans running against him in the primary elections. Even name calling, dirty political tactics, lies, etc. As soon as he won in Nov he did a complete about face. In his first interview this month he was touting the fact that he was reaching across the aisle and his new best friend is Congressman Joe Kennedy. Now I know that he will not represent anything I stand for. Perhaps we are the morons.
How do you explain the massive crowds that turned out for Romney rallies in contrast to the abysmally low turnouts for Obama? Why did the DNC decide to move their convention to a site with far fewer seats?
Does no one remember the rampant VOTE FRAUD, such as the 141 percent ‘turnout’ in St. Lucie County, Florida? I bet Allen West remembers!
Similar population/registrant vs vote discrepancies took place in other states, particularly in the battleground states.
And how about those Philadelphia precincts voting 100 percent for Obama . . . after the Democrat polecats forcefully pushed the Republican poll watchers from the buildings?
And the Ohio voters who went to the polls . . . intending to vote . . . but were turned away because they were told they’d already voted?! I wonder how those Ohioans feel about this myopic blame-the-Republicans piece.
And the military votes? Did any of the ballots actually get to our military in time for their votes to count? Of those ballots that did, how many actually make it to the voter precincts here? Besides the more ‘common’ delays, why did a plane — that was transporting military votes — oh, so conveniently, crash?
I voted. What else could I do? Am not willing to pay the price Oswald did. Need my money for myself and not willing to give it to Republican campaigns to squander on poor commercials. ØDumbø´s weakest link was the healthcare debacle. But Romney merely mentioned it. In fact he said he would keep the good parts and fixed what needed to be fixed. I couldn´t believe it. What good parts? Plus Mittens spent a lot of time trying to convince people he was a nice guy. He should have been going after The Kenyan Nincompoop and pointed out that he is out to destroy America and us. At least the fly that attacked The Indonesian Imbecile knew what it was doing.
AS Mark Levin has so appropriately stated, America needs more, ´Paul & Paulette Reveres!´
Why NOW, after the USA has become THE authentic beacon of individual Liberty, Pursuit of Happiness & the resulting prosperity on the planet? The answer is evident: Americans who cherish Life Liberty must first ourselves understand the foundational principles which have kept the USA free in order for us to recognize the devious threat to that freedom which is currently being deemed by the dem´s counterfeit agenda which erodes Liberty as well as Life! Only then can, ´Paul & Paulette Revere,´ sound the alarm! (What is the GOP message?)
Apparently there are now too many who take freedom for granted because they have been taken in by the radical ´60s dems´ & their media´s socialist siren song, which always leads to tyranny on the rocks of brute force, as can be seen tragically & currently in other such BIG Governmental/top-down dictated countries!
Thus, ´educated,´ & primed by the conniving & devious dems´ counterfeit agenda, with reality & truth hidden by the dems´ media cult, some voters in the last election simply did not understand the peril to freedom which 0bama & the corrupted dem party´s statist policies are pushing our ship of state! With demonstrable disregard & disdain for the U.S. Constitution and their oaths of office, the conniving dem pols´ leadership would rather have Lady Liberty dashed upon the rocks of radical lefty/lib statism, just like all of history´s past central-planning fifedom failures, than this Republic to remain governed, ´´...of the people, by the people and for the people.´´
The self-engrandizing & self-enriching statist dems´ verbal, ´´message,´´ promises, ´pie in the sky,´ to their supporters but their policy actions result in just the opposite: more poverty, more dreams dashed, more corruption. ´´Pottersville,´´ personified.
Gensert gets it: "When we dare to stop caring how successful we look to people, caring people will dare to look at us as successful." Unfortunately, the GOP elites, with their CountryClub mores, don´t. "Go along to get along" is their philosophy, which is about as successful as the British wearing red coats and marching in straight lines.
Faced with the inefficacy of their group-think, GOP apologists continue their denial and can only blame conservatives for not being enthusiastic enough about their milquetoast candidate. They´re no better than the Democrats in assuming responsibility.
I want an opposition party, not a stupid party. It’s been apparent for decades that the grandees of the Grand Old Party shy away from sustained confrontation against the media or the socialist democrats, and abandon any who try. It’s a tired and trite observation. We are expected to accept continued capitulation as the only consistent Republican political principle, and are blamed for the resulting failures because we point them out.
The Tea Party was a ready made grassroots movement that was placed in the lap of the Republican Party. You´d think they got dumped with an ice bucket, the way they jumped up and brushed us off their pants. If some Tea Party groups didn´t enthusiastically embrace Romney and the anointed GOP candidates, I hardly think they can be blamed for their own tepid response. We’re tired of the old excuses that the media is biased, or that the Republicans don’t have the votes so kicking the can down the road is another grand bi-partisan compromise that will set us up for a win next time
Why the lack of message? Why the lack of constant attack? Why the lack of basic political savvy? We never get answers to these questions. We only get berated for “bashing our own” and told that by “airing our dirty laundry” we are aiding and abetting our enemies. Treatment that is reminiscent of the socialists. Is it any wonder that many are beginning to conclude that the lack of message, the lack of fight, the lack of backbone is because the Republicans are just the “right” wing of the Big Government Party? What other rational explanation is there for the constant capitulation?
Excellent points by Posters 8, 11, 25 and 34 . If I might add the talkers on the right ( Limbaugh and Levin and Savage ) to the mix who bashed and bashed and bashed Romney for months- he´s a bum, he´s a RINO, he´s pro abortion, he´s a liberal, he´s not conservative, etc. All false charges designed to keep their audience agitated and their ratings up. They did the same with George W Bush and McCain and Dole before them. After the election , some self appointed Tea Party honcho wrote a column bragging about the hundreds of thousands of Evangelicals and Tea Partiers and Ron Paul supporters who stayed home rather than vote for the impure Romney. Or because they felt dissed somehow by the RNC . We apparently have many low information and self centered voters on the right who needed to be sweet talked or hand carried to the polls . The far right pouters helped elect Obama . It´s time the Republicans catered to common sense conservatives and paid less attention to the unrealistic and unhelpful demands of the far right and their talk radio counterparts.
I´ve been posting here since the very beginning so no one can claim that I´m a new troll trying to disrupt. Given that the Republicans have, just in the last two days, let Hillary and Kerry skate, how can anyone blame those of us who skewer them as useless? Face it, between guns, immigration, "securing the internet", gutting the military and gutless Republicans, our country is lost. Who is going to stop zippy from doing anything he wants?
I´m all for ridiculing and calling out the WON. Now where do we find the megaphone to shout out the message. Alt media? That´s preaching to the choir. Facebook? The Zuckerburgers will take down your page.
Strategically placed billboards... Ads in USA Today & during primetime tv shows. Radical strong effective ads, blasting brownshirts vs individual freedom. List the constitutional violations, over & over & over again.

What is the difference between Obama & Putin? Obama wants higher taxes & Putin has a 15% flat tax.
Or to rile up the anti war cowering crowd:

"I´ve written two books," Senator Barack Obama told a crowd of teachers in Virginia on the campaign trial in July of 2008. The teachers applauded. "I actually wrote them myself," he added with a wink and a nod, and now the teachers exploded in laughter. They got the joke: Republicans were too stupid to write their books. Although few fussed over Obama´s second book, a first-person memoir/ policy brief published in 2006 titled The Audacity of Hope, Obama´s 1995 memoir Dreams from My Father had emerged as the sacred text in the cult of Obama "There is no underestimating the importance
Elect a Chicago community organizer (twice) as your president and you should not be surprised to find that all he is capable of is spewing propaganda and dividing us by personalizing attacks on those who oppose his grandiose, wildly impractical efforts at reshaping our lives to suit his sophomoric view of the good life. As the obvious failure of ObamaCare has become evident to all but his most blinkered cultists, Obama fell back this week on upping the propagandizing and deflecting attention from his failures with even more lies. His organizing arm OFA (Organizing for America) urged supporters to use this year´s
Those who wrote the PPACA legislation were much more brilliant than most conservatives have given them credit for. They have hidden a landmine in the way it all works that will ensure an eventual takeover of the entire health care industry by the government. Let me first clarify my professional interest. I have been a vendor of software and services to both insurance companies and providers, and therefore have a deep understanding of the health care industry and what the ACA will do to it. I do not work for any insurance companies or medical providers, nor do I own stock
MONTICELLO, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) — A video recording shows the mayor of the Sullivan County municipality of Monticello in a heated confrontation after being arrested by his own police officers. (Snip) He was taken into custody after showing up to take a look at a serious car accident on Main Street. A volunteer firefighter noticed the mayor looked drunk, according to police, and notified law enforcement. Jenkins was arrested on the spot. In a video recorded at his own police headquarters, a man identified as Jenkins was shown seated in a chair with one hand handcuffed to a wall. During the first
If you think ObamaCare is bad, just wait till you hear the new "peace" agreement that is due to be imposed on the Middle East over the coming weeks. Even if it works, a giant if, it will make the world much more dangerous: 1. Iran will have nuclear weapons, or it will be balanced right on the edge -- within one month or less to make nukes. 2. Saudi Arabia and Egypt will go nuclear, to balance Iran. 3. America´s role as a guarantor of peace will be blown, crushed by Obama´s betrayal of Israel and the Arabs. America´s nuclear umbrella, which
How fitting that abortion zealot and self-proclaimed Marxist Gloria Steinem received the Presidential Medal of Freedom on Wednesday from Barack Hussein Obama. The male-bashing, anti-family, anti-American Steinem beamed as the guy who voted three times against a partial-birth abortion ban while in the Illinois state Senate placed the medal around her neck. What exactly is the meritorious contribution Steinem has made to our national interests that would warrant such an honor? Ever since the radical feminist attended an "abortion speak-out" in 1969 hosted by the radical man-hating group Redstockings, she was "instantly committed" to the abortion movement.
If no one else, WND, the New York Post, and now Fox News have started paying serious attention to an urban pastime known as "the knockout game" or occasionally as "polar bear hunting," a phenomenon that has caused at least seven deaths and countless serious injuries. The "polar bear" refers to the invariably white or at least non-black victim of a hunt by a young black male, usually one of a pack of the same. The hunters tend to prey on those who seem vulnerable. This includes old people, women, children, and, most often, clueless male liberals-- like the Pittsburgh teacher
With the "fumbled" rollout of Obamacare giving us all a 24/7 inundation of administration statements such as: "This is the law of the land, it was voted on by Congress, upheld by the Supreme Court and will be enforced by a rabid pack of gun-toting IRS agents." Alright, I confess, I made up that last bit about the gun-toting IRS agents. Neither Obama nor his talking sock puppets ever said that -- at least out loud. Within a month of these spirited defenses of an indefensible law, the White House did what became an impression of the "Saturday Night Live" character, the
On the night of July 17, 1996, President Bill Clinton and his wife Hillary attended a gala for the Women´s Leadership Forum of the Democratic National Committee at the Sheraton Washington Hotel. We know this from the 11,000 pages of Hillary´s schedule as first lady that the National Archives released in 2008. At 8:35 that evening, after working the rope line, the Clintons left the Sheraton by presidential motorcade and headed back to the White House where they arrived at 8:45. A 8:31 that same evening, two FAA veterans at the New York Air Route Traffic Control Center observed a target arching
Derelict: (´der??likt/) neglectful of duty, delinquent; a person guilty of neglect of duty; a bum. SYNONYM-see Obama, Barack. A thought experiment can be useful to explain why America is in a mess. Let´s take Barack Obama at his word -- a stretch certainly for anyone who would lie about his own mother´s death to score partisan points will lie about...well, anything. But let´s put the most positive spin on what President Obama has been conveying to his fellow Americans. One can try to be optimistic even in these perilous times -- it is one of the great traits of being
What will the United States of America be like after Barack Obama leaves the presidency on January 20, 2017 (assuming he does leave)? Five days before the 2008 election, Obama declared he would "fundamentally transform" America. Obama has done much to fulfill that promise since January 20, 2009. If he completes his agenda, the U.S. will be very much like a European-style welfare state. Obama is not personally responsible for some of the changes in American society that have facilitated the welfare state´s growth. Charles Murray (Coming Apart), Bill Cosby and Alvin Poussaint (Come On People), and Nicholas Eberstadt (A Nation of
The Atlantic, November 2, 2012: Obama´s Crystal-Clear Promise to Stop Iran From Getting a Nuclear Weapon. USA Today, October 25, 2013: Iran bomb one month away. The New Republic, March 2, 2012. "...never has an American president treated an Israeli prime minister with such shabbiness as Obama has treated Netanyahu." Conservatives listened, because we are realists, and we still read history. Today -- at this very moment -- the crisis is here, and worst of
Rep. Jim McDermott (D-Wash.) said on MSNBC’s “PoliticsNation” Wednesday that when Jesus fed five thousand people with five loaves of bread and two fish, “he didn’t charge food stamps.” “When Jesus had those five loaves and two fishes, he didn´t charge food stamps. He didn´t ask anybody how much money they had. He fed them because they were hungry, and that´s really where we ought to be,” McDermott said in response to Republican critics of the SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program). In September, the House approved a plan by Republicans to cut $39 billion in food stamps over the next
The nation’s view of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, colored by the horrific Benghazi assassination of the U.S. ambassador to Libya on her watch, has suddenly turned upside down, with more now holding an unfavorable opinion of the likely 2016 presidential candidate. A new YouGov/Economist poll found Clinton, whose approval ratings have typically been sky high, with an unfavorable rating of 48 percent, more than the 46 percent who have a favorable opinion of her. The YouGov pollsters said that the change in American attitudes toward Clinton "suggests that negative press surrounding the tragic
In the US we are used to abortion advocates claiming that the risk of elective abortion is relatively trivial, and major medical organizations denying any link between abortion and breast cancer. Now a powerful new study from China published last week by Yubei Huang and colleagues suggests otherwise. The article, a meta-analysis pooling 36 studies from 14 provinces in China, showed that abortion increased the risk of breast cancer by 44% with one abortion, and 76% and 89% with two and three abortions. This new article is another example of the recent excellent scholarship on abortion in peer-reviewed journals coming out
MIDDLETOWN, Del.- Remembering the plot of a short story is no longer good enough in teacher Amy Lawson´s fifth-grade classroom. Today´s students are being asked to think more critically. For example, what might a character say in an email to a friend? "It´s hard. But you can handle this," Lawson tells them. Welcome to a classroom using the Common Core State Standards, one of the most politicized and misunderstood changes in education for students and their teachers in kindergarten through high school. In 45 states and the District of Columbia, Lawson and and other teachers are starting to use the standards
Bill Clinton, the cliché goes, was the first black president, no matter his skin color. That being the case, Barack Obama is not the first black president, or the first African-American president, if you prefer, but the first hippie president. Clinton’s southern background and lifestyle were indeed more typically black, just as Obama’s was more typically hippie. And we’re not just talking about the “Choom gang” here, scarfing “Maui Wowie” on the sands of Oahu. We’re talking about all of it, the whole multi-culti-missing-white-mother-vanished-Kenyan-father-anti-imperialist-America-is-always-the-enemy-and-don’t-you-forget-it-nine-yards. And like most hippie culture as I knew and experienced it, it wasn’t about “peace and love.” Not
Gov. Chris Christie’s “bizarre behavior’’ in refusing to say he’ll support a possible GOP challenger to Gov. Cuomo next year could derail his chances to become president, state and national GOP insiders have told The Post. “Christie already has a problem with many Republicans refusing to forgive him because of his embrace of [President] Obama and his socially liberal policies,’’ said a nationally prominent GOP operative. “But this bizarre behavior in suggesting he won’t help a Republican defeat a Democratic governor, and a Cuomo no less, could finish off his chances of becoming his party’s nominee for president in 2016,’’ the
Senior officials in the White House have said that Israel Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu “is desperate and weak,” in reaction to Netanyahu´s remonstrations against the deal struck with Iran over its nuclear weapons program. Israeli television Channel 10 quoted the officials as saying “His pronouncements show a lack of self-confidence,” in an unusually harsh personal attack on Netanyahu. “We are not perturbed by his vocal opposition.”
During a presentation at the White House in which President Barack Obama touted the benefits of the Affordable Care Act, the president declared that his signature health care reform law was not going to be repealed. This assertion led his administration members, his staff, and audience members to rise from their seats and give the president a standing ovation. Obama said that ACA opponents’ alternative to the health care reform law is to champion repeal and going back to the health care delivery system status quo ante. He specifically cited Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) who he said was asked directly for
A woman has revealed how difficult it is to eat healthily and stay full when living off an average food stamp budget. Melinda Moulton, from Huntington, Vermont, was one of 200 people to take part in the 3Squares Challenge, which saw her living for a week on just $36 worth of food, or around $1.71 a meal. Opting to try and eat as healthily as possible, Ms Moulton resorted to cheap foods like yogurt for breakfast, two handfuls of peanuts for lunch and lentil stew for dinner, all of which left her unsatisfied.´I don´t know how people do it,´ said
Barack Obama is a man with only one core conviction. He has, as the basic foundation of his otherwise disorganized and uncertain belief system, the irrefutable tenet that the United States, because of its European roots, has been the epitome of oppression and arrogance throughout its history. Therefore, he is able to rationalize the need to say or do anything as the transformation of American society and the end of the pre-eminent status of the United States are his sole objectives. He has, thus, adopted a pre-meditated schizophrenic personality wherein he comports himself as an apologist and appeaser on the
A push by activists to ease the 30-year-old blanket ban on blood donations from gay and bisexual men faces a key test this week as a federal panel hears results of the latest research. The findings will be released amid growing pressure from politicians and advocates, including college students, to change the policy. Critics say the ban is a hangover from the early, fear-filled days of AIDS, stigmatizing gay men and ignoring advances in treatment and detection in the decades since. Supporters of the policy say politics, not science, is driving the proposed change, which would heighten the risk of
So the troubled site apparently now works 90 percent of the time. That should be good news for Obama—but the question is whether Obamacare will get the mass enrollment it needs. HealthCare.gov finally works. Now people just need to use it. The error-plagued website, which was supposed to be the portal for Americans seeking to buy health insurance through the exchanges set up by the Affordable Care Act, is finally approaching basic functionality two months after it went online. In a report released Sunday, the Department of Health and Human Services breathlessly announced that the website now functions more than 90 percent of
