Video: Security guard pepper-sprays
pro-lifers outside abortion clinic

Washington Examiner, by Joel Gehrke

Peaceful protesters who are part of a national movement pursuing broad political, cultural, and social change were pepper-sprayed by a security guard. No, this story has nothing to do with Occupy Wall Street. Instead, itinvolves three pro-life Mississippians who were apparently pepper-sprayed by a security guard at an abortion clinic. “This morning pro-lifers were singing and praying in front of Mississippi’s lone remaining abortion clinic when a security guard pepper-sprayed three of them in the face,” Life Site News says. “The aggressor was Roy Benjamin, a private, armed security guard who works for Jackson Women’s Health Organization, in Jackson.”

Some people are more free than others now days. How appalling.

The good news is they will soon own the clinic. I´m not licensed to practice in Mississippi, but there´s a lot of good, conservative lawyers there (such do exist) who will be more than happy to take the case. It´s pretty much a throw-down, based on the facts thus far known. Of course, there are always two sides to every story . . .

From another article: ´´When you’ve got people screaming at the women who come in here and a governor who evidently thinks that’s OK, this is exactly what’s going to happen,´´ said clinic owner Diane Derzis.

So apparently the guard had just a bit too much power and the owner is backing him up. Seriously, you water the grass ( on the public sidewalk) in January?

You know, in a nearby city, the abortionists would be in more trouble for running their sprinklers at unapproved times as well as "watering the sidewalk," also not allowed. You know, trying to reduce demand for water supplies especially during a near-drought. Commercial properties are often limited to once a week watering with automatic sprinklers, usually from 10 pm to 8 am.

There is an exception for "irrigation checks," to find any leaks, but you have to have a licensed irrigation tech on site when this happens.

But then again, the nearby city is San Antonio and since Obama´s stooge, Joaquin Castro, is mayor, he´s probably instituted a "get the right-wingnut anti-abortion doofus" exemption which would allow this.

Next time, maybe one of the protestors need to pack a little pepper spray of their own. Two can play that game.

Saying the political landscape will not be more conducive to amnesty legislation in two or four years, U.S. Chamber of Commerce President Tom Donohue wrote on Monday that immigration reform must happen now. Donohue has previously said that the U.S. Chamber of Commerce would "pull out all the stops" to get immigration reform this year. The group reportedly plans to spend $50 million to blunt the influence of the Tea Party, largely because it opposes amnesty, and millions more to push for immigration reform legislation that the Congressional Budget Office has said would lower the wages of American workers. Gov. Cuomo is making another pitch Monday for Republican heavy hitters to back his re-election campaign. Home Depot founder Ken Langone is hosting a “Republicans for Cuomo” event at the Harvard Club at 8:30 a.m. Cuomo will address the well-heeled Wall Street and real-estate titans and field questions. David Malpass, who ran in the 2010 Republican US Senate primary, also was involved in planning the breakfast, sources said. Cuomo attended a similar event last month. The Cuomo campaign wants to woo Republican backers to keep their big bucks from going to the eventual GOP nominee.

Republicans are unhappy that President Obama is invoking his executive powers to govern in the face of a do-nothing-in-2014 House of Representatives. To hear them talk, you would think our chief executive is modeling himself on the late Hugo Chavez and wants to seize dictatorial control. This, of course, is nonsense. In fact, Obama has in many ways been less aggressive in his use of executive authority than his predecessors. Take the matter of executive orders.
