Keystone Pipeline Tests
President Obama on Jobs, Climate

ABC News, by Devin Dwyer

WASHINGTON -It´s shaping up to be one of the trickiest decisions President Obama will have to make early in his second term: whether to approve construction of the 1,700-mile Keystone XL oil pipeline, stretching from Alberta, Canada, to Oklahoma. Nebraska Gov. Dave Heineman, a Republican, on Tuesday endorsed a revised pipeline route through his state, removing a final hurdle for the $5 billion project on the state level. Governors and congressional delegations from the four other states it crosses have already pressed for federal government approval. The fate of the project now rests squarely with the Obama administration,

Funny thing is it is almost done ( at least between Oklahoma and Nebraska) They built East of here last year ( they built through here (Middle of Kansas)pretty quickly, ´...like salts through the hired girl.´)

Tests?? If we had a president that wasn´t a traitor to his country he would have approved that pipeline long ago. For him to even have to consider it outrageous and sickening.

As long as Warren Buffet owns the railroad that now transports (inefficiently and at greater cost) the Tar Sand bitumen from Alberta, there will be no Keystone pipeline.

Obama couldn´t care less about the Greenies and their ignorant intention to block the Keystone Pipeline because of their silly global warming religion. And he couldn´t care less about the jobs the pipeline would bring.

But he DOES care that the Keystone Pipeline threatens the business interests of one of his biggest contributors. Why is this never reported? (As if we didn´t know.)

Why is this about Mr. O. and his base? In a sane world this would be about what is good for America and the American people.

Obama Refuses to Talk to
America About Terror Threat
White House Dossier, by Keith Koffler    Original Article

President Obama continues to say nothing to a jittery nation about what some who have been briefed on the danger are describing as the worst terrorist threat since 9/11, declining to either offer reassurance or an explanation of the peril the nation faces. Certainly, the president does not want to take questions about a threat he had minimized during the 2012 campaign. But what’s striking is that he has not addressed the nation in a formal manner on the potential for a major attack. Incredibly, the first question Obama might take on the situation could come from a comedian.

Vague terrorist threats shutting down nineteen of our embassies, Russian strongman Putin thumbing his nose at President Obama, Iran jerking our chain – the U.S. hasn’t looked this cowardly on the world stage since the Jimmy Carter administration. Here at home, too, we’ve gone back to the Carter future; unemployment is high, Keynesian economics are all the rage, our professorial president is increasingly whiny and ineffectual; all that’s missing is a cardigan sweater and that infernal violin. Our recent contre-temps with Russia is a throw-back to the weak-kneed Carter era.

Two state GOP chairmen on Monday quickly endorsed Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus’s demand that CNN and NBC drop two movie projects about the life of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. The GOP chiefs from the two early voting primary states vowed to not cooperate with the networks on any 2016 presidential primary debates. [Tweets] Priebus on Monday wrote to the heads of NBC and CBS and threatened to not partner with them on 2016 debates if they went ahead with plans to air two films about Clinton, a possible Democratic contender.

WASHINGTON— While former Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. awaits sentencing for misusing about $750,000 in campaign funds, his political organization has received its third warning from the Federal Election Commission for failing to submit reports on its finances. According to FEC records, the campaign has missed its last three report deadlines and has not filed a disclosure since December, a few weeks after Jackson resigned from office. Prosecutors want Jackson to get four years in prison when he is sentenced Aug. 14. The lack of FEC reports has left unanswered the question of whether Jackson is using leftover campaign money

When a single family owns a company for many decades, and when that family acts for all those decades in good faith, in a principled manner, in good times and in rough times, as stewards of important values – when that family has done such a good job – it is only natural to worry about change. So, let me start with something critical. The values of The Post do not need changing.

In 2008 and then again in 2012, after retired four-star General Colin Powell endorsed and then voted for Barack Obama, the former Secretary of State´s sanity was already in question. At least now, after having his email account hacked by high-level security-breacher Guccifer, Colin Powell´s besmirching of the Republican Party´s "shift to the right" and "identity crisis" finally makes sense. It seems that for years the mannerly and always professional Colin Powell has been cyber-comporting with a 46-year-old Romanian European Parliament member, Social Democrat, and past spokesperson for Romanian president Ion Iliescu named Corina Cretu

Conservatives have for years attempted to put our finger upon precisely why Barack Obama strikes us as queer in precisely the way he does. There is an alienness about him, which in the fever swamps is expressed in all that ridiculous Kenyan-Muslim hokum, but his citizen-of-the-world shtick is strictly sophomore year — the great globalist does not even speak a foreign language. Obama has been called many things — radical, socialist — labels that may have him dead to rights at the phylum level but not down at his genus or species. His social circle includes

For nearly a year, we have had no answer to why the administration lied about Benghazi — why it told the world, not to mention the parents of our murdered SEALs at the funeral of their sons, that the cause of that fatal conflagration was an anti-Islamic video no one saw, when the various arms of our executive branch (White House, State and intelligence) already knew, or strongly suspected, it was a terror attack orchestrated by al-Qaeda affiliates. You only have to read the now infamous talking points to know that. That this lie was deeply immoral is obvious.

Today, across Africa, Araby and Asia, from Nouakchott to Dhaka, the diplomatic facilities of the United States are closed. There’s a Tsarnaev out there, somewhere – could be the Mahgreb, the Levant, the Horn of Africa, the Indian sub-continent – who knows? So, as Richard Fernandez writes, “Shelter in place, this time globally.” Maybe it will work. Maybe by the end of the day there will be, unlike Benghazi a year on, men in custody. But if not? Daniel Pipes: Don’t know about you, but I find this pre-emptive cringing unworthy of a great country, even humiliating.

Common sense tells me that cops don´t need a Taser or a shotgun to subdue a 95-year-old man. When John Wrana was a young man, fit and strong and fighting in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps, did he ever think he´d end this way? Just a few weeks shy of his 96th birthday, in need of a walker to move about, cops coming through the door of his retirement home with a Taser and a shotgun.

I have a suggestion. How about an exhibit on Tawana Brawley? If the purpose of the new National Museum of African American History and Culture at the Smithsonian is to remember racial controversies, as the proposed Trayvon exhibit seems to confirm, then how about an honest look at the phenomenon of hate crime hoaxes? Particular attention should be paid to the role of the media in both the Trayvon and Tawana materials. Unquestionably, the media stirred up racial animus, and these incidents both contributed to raising racial tensions.

Police shot and killed an armed teen in the South Bronx early today after the suspect opened fire and refused to drop his gun, police said. Two rookie cops heard shots fired near East 151st Street and Courtlandt Avenue around 3 a.m. and ran in the direction of fire, police said. The uniformed officers saw Shaaliver Douse, 14, of the South Bronx, chasing another person through the streets, according to cops. Douse, who was arrested in May on attempted murder charges for shooting a 15-year-old, fired at the man running on East 151st Street this morning, police said.
