Clinton denies ´delay´ in Benghazi
response, despite accounts

Fox News, by Staff

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Wednesday defended the administration´s response the night of the September 2012 terror attack in Libya, testifying before Congress that there were "no delays in decision-making" despite accounts to the contrary. The secretary, after missing prior hearings due to illness, testified on the attack for the first time Wednesday morning before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. She said she has "no higher priority" than the security of her department´s staff, and that she is committed to making the department "safer, stronger and more secure." "As I have said many times,

Comments:
This is nothing but a circus. Boxer just pitched Clinton the most beautiful softball ever when she brought up the alleged lack of funding for security in Benghazi. Democrats are exquisite in their ability to twist facts to make themselves appear blameless. Izza previously testified that the regime was sitting on $2 billion earmarked for diplomatic security. This is just outrageous.

I wonder if she lets her personal staff get away with cheap excuses like that.

This is amazing! Hillary was not involved in security matters - the Secretary of State, she said, is not involved in the decision making. She didn´t say who was responsible, and there was no follow up question.
She also didn´t know nuffin about that special national guard security unit that offered to stay in benghazi at no cost to the State Department, but someone at State (Charlene Lamb, I believe) turned down the offer.
It has quickly become clear to me that no one was in charge at State. No one.
But HIllary is being praised by both sides for her wonderful service.
Finally, Hillary said she had nuffin to do with the selection of Susan Rice to make the rounds of the news programs, and had no input with the content of Rice´s remarks.
Amazing.
Most of these senators are lawyers, and they don´t know how to cross-examine.

"It´s all Congress´s fault because they will not give State the money for diplomatic security."

I sincerely hope this comment is an attempt at sarcasm, but cause it is pure BS.

The military offered to send in security and State turned them down, not once but twice. It was more convenient for "State" if the group in Bhengazi ended up dead, then there would be nobody to refute "States" claim that the whole thing was precipitated by some obscure anti-Islamic video that almost nobody watched. This whole episode shows the Administration as the despicable political cowards that they are. Sacrificing American lives for political gain, just disgusting!!! Obama and Clinton have blood on their hands. Words cannot do justice for the contempt I have for these two anti-American traitors.

Meanwhile, Hillary will probably make a `standing room only` appearance on The View by the end of the month whereby she will be welcomed with a standing ovation that will last half the show....

second post apologies, but, #8, a special security unit from I believe the Utah National Guard was in Benghazi, and offered to stay there, at no cost to the State Department.
And someone at State said ´no thanks.´ The colonel in charge of that security unit testfied before that House committee, back in October, and his comments, as above, were confirmed by assistant secretary kennedy as well as by charlene lamb.
Turning away such a free offer tells me, implicitly, that the president´s policy position on such matters was to show the filthy islamofascist terrorist pigs in libyan government that we would not resist them.

I believe her when she says "There were no delays in decision-making". The Obama administration is launching an “attack” on the Medicare Advantage and Medicare Part D programs as part of Obamacare that will result in higher costs and fewer health care options for seniors, according to a U.S. House subcommittee. The administration is quietly introducing “policies that would undermine the integrity and success of the Medicare Part D program” according to the subcommittee. President Bush signed Medicare Part D into law in 2003 to subsidize prescription drug costs for Medicare beneficiaries. The Daily Caller has learned that the House Energy and Commerce Committee’s Subcommittee on Health will hold a hearing Feb.
