The Collectivist Mind Game,
Part 3: Demonizing Human Nature

American Thinker, by Oleg Atbashian

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 1/23/2013 8:09:35 AM

If Robert Heinlein were to write The Moon today (see Part 1), there´s no doubt his notion of the future oppressive global government on Earth would be very different. With such forces at play, the free-market revolution in Lunar colonies would likewise be fought by different means, struggling to overcome the tidal wave of government indoctrination and demonization, in addition to an army of statist looters hiding behind the army of statist moochers, who will be hiding behind an army of statist Blue Helmets of the statist United Nations.

Comments:
The article also contains parts one and two. We sure are living in frightening times. Unfortunately, so few are even aware of the malevolence that is going on right before their eyes.

Human nature will never change. We are all inherently self-serving. Period. It takes the embracing of a concept MUCH larger than ourselves to coerce a human to act in someone else´s interest.

Many parents find the reality of raising a child enough to bring out selfless acts. Many find selflessness in embracing religion, provided that religion embraces the concept.

Capitalism, so far, has been the single most successful economic system the world has ever witnessed. Why? Because it takes advantage of our human condition to GET something in order to produce progress. As long as there are governmental boundaries in which capitalism can operate, relatively freely, things just keep getting invented and living standards keep on getting better.

Socialism assumes that people are basic all just Mother Theresa´s deep down inside. Yeah... right.

On the moon it would be simple to solve...all the bad actors would, no doubt, be hiding in one section of the colony...and guess what, somehow their air went bad...

Same scenario...all the terrorists gather in one spot to do their bad deeds...BOOM!

Issa calls meeting next week to weigh
contempt against ex-IRS official Lerner
Fox News, by Chad Pergram    Original Article

A House committee will meet next week to consider whether to hold former IRS official Lois Lerner in contempt of Congress, Rep. Darrell Issa announced Thursday. The former IRS official has twice appeared before Congress, and twice invoked her Fifth Amendment right not to answer questions, regarding the IRS targeting scandal. But Republicans argue she waived that right -- and have scheduled a meeting of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee on April 10 to weigh contempt. They say she played a key role in the agency´s practice of singling out conservative groups seeking non-profit status for extra scrutiny.

In writing about the IRS’s proposed effort to silence conservatives through new regulations on 501(c)(4) organizations, we noted the enormous number of public comments being submitted in response to the regs. In the end, the number of comments exceeded 150,000. I don’t know whether the criticisms have been heard by the IRS but their weight has been felt. Today IRS Commissioner Koskinen told an audience at the National Press Club that his agency is unlikely to finalize the proposed regulations this year. Koskinen said: During the comment period, which ended in February, we received more than 150,000 comments. That’s a record for an

Millions of individuals who recently entrusted personal, medical, and financial information to the federal government while enrolling in Obamacare via Healthcare.gov may find a recent trend reported by the Government Accountability Office (GAO) rather unsettling. The number of security breaches involving Personally Identifiable Information (PII) at federal agencies more than doubled in recent years, increasing from 10,481 in 2009 to 25,566 in 2013. Perhaps even more disturbing, the GOA found that "none of the seven agencies [in a related study] consistently documented lessons learned from PII breaches." A graph accompanying the GAO report illustrates the dramatic and consistent upward trend

On March 25, MRCTV´s Dan Joseph ventured into Washington D.C. to speak with some pro-Obamacare protestors, who assembled outside the Supreme Court to protest Hobby Lobby´s case against the abortion pill/contraception mandate in Obamacare. In light of the movement to ban the word “bossy,” Joseph asked if it was "bossy" to force companies, which have First Amendment rights, to buy things that goes against their owners’ religious convictions? Some protestors said, “No” – and some couldn’t even understand the question. While navigating through the crowd, Joseph encountered a woman in a burqa. Let´s call her "Taliban Tina." You gotta get ‘em while they’re young. A rumbling is beginning among feminists to try to get their ideology put to use in the classroom. In an article on Pandagon, the liberal blog that gave rise to Ezra Klein, a feminist mom calling herself “Glosswitch” brought up the issue: “When I think of the blind faith in gender that surrounds [her son], I’m not feeling so comfortable. It’s not just that the stereotypes are limiting on an individual basis. They are everywhere and they embed, ever so gradually, the sense that is natural for women and girls to be decorative,

The Obama administration on Thursday announced that it was updating Medicare rules to allow partners in same-sex marriages to apply for benefits during special enrollment periods. The Department of Health and Human Services said that the Social Security Administration would now be able to take applications for special enrollment periods for Medicare Part A and Part B and reduce late penalties for some eligible same-sex couples. The move is the latest step taken by HHS after the Supreme Court in 2013 struck down a key part of the federal Defense of Marriage Act, which defined marriage as a union between one man

Former White House press secretary Robert Gibbs predicted on Wednesday that the Obama administration would scrap the employer mandate, which has already been delayed twice. “I don´t think the employer mandate will go into effect. Before getting to the speech itself, it’s worth noting a few things. When the Democrats passed and Barack Obama signed Obamacare, the majority opposed it. About 56%, in fact. A majority have consistently opposed that law ever since. The Obama administration touted 7 million sign-ups by March 31 as “success.” When that goal appeared to be unreachable, the administration suggested that maybe 5 or 6 million would be enough. Now, as if by magic, they have their number. Somehow. All along, the administration has touted false numbers of enrollees. All along, the administration has neglected to admit that Obamacare is

A triumphant President Barack Obama declared his signature medical insurance overhaul a success, saying it has made America´s health care system ´a lot better.´ But buried in the 7.1 million enrollments he announced in a heavily staged Rose Garden appearance is a more unsettling reality. Numbers from a RAND Corporation study that has been kept under wraps suggest that barely 858,000 previously uninsured Americans – nowhere near 7.1 million – have paid for new policies and joined the ranks of the insured by Monday night. Others were already insured, including millions who lost coverage when their existing policies were suddenly

A proposal is in the works that would change the state tax system to charge drivers by the mile, instead of at the gas pump. The proposal would be to charge a half cent per mile for cars, which would generate almost $500 million in annual state revenue. A driver who travelled 15,000 miles in a year would pay about $75. "Basically you pay per the mile. With Chris Christie in deep trouble, Republican poobahs are reportedly looking to Jeb Bush to save their party in 2016. The former two-term governor of Florida speaks fluent Spanish, is a convert to Catholicism, and has high name recognition. Jeb could raise millions of dollars over night by just saying “yes” to running. Despite all this, there are strong reasons Republicans should say no to him. 1. His last name is poison. Let’s face it, if Jeb Bush had the last name of Something Else he would have already run for president in 2008 or 2012. According to a recent Washington Post/ABC News poll registered voters were asked if they would definitely NOT vote for Jeb Bush and 50 percent said they would not.
