Mickelson was probably pulled aside by his sponsors and read the riot act, warning him that 1/2 their audience might be "offended"
by his complaints about a totally confiscatory tax in California. But someone should tell the sponsors (and Phil!) that the audience they are going for with arthritis meds is probably largely over 50, and desperate to shore up any remaining wealth the government has not already made off with, and will not look kindly on this backtracking, even if they understand why it has occurred.

#3 is almost certainly right.
Going Galt will mean going Red State for a while, until it really starts to pinch the blue ones. Then the Feds will work to withhold federal dollars from states without income taxes, characterizing them as freeloader states who refuse to collect what they need from their own people, like the more responsible blue states.
Then it will be necessary to leave the country to go Galt, but a guy like Mick would probably have to give up golf altogether, since almost all of his golf winnings would be on U.S. soil.
Just to steer clear of "offending" those who feel entitled to his money, he should have done what he needs to do, and keep the reasons to himself, like wealthy Obama voters always do.

Mikelson was right the first time. I disagree with those posters who think it is patriotic to turn one´s money over to Obama to spend. I would not blame people who want to start (or continue) a business for taking their money and using it somewhere else. When the inevitable collapse comes it will not help us for them to be part of it. After the fall, they can come back and help us pick up the pieces. Don´t worry about their not coming back because they will.
Obamacare is going to destroy us financially. No point in everybody going down with the ship.

#13, is right, perhaps Phil should have moved to FLA years ago, but it is his personal choice. Tiger is on a totally different level because his father´s military/intelligence background led to strategic thinking and career planning. Phil, 5 years older, turned pro 4 years before Tiger, and started his foundation 12 years later in 2004 and now is looking to make a move after 20 years on the tour...
Tiger went pro in ´96, launched his foundation in ´96 based in his home community in CA, thus avoiding any blowback when he moved to FLA in ´96...

Denver-based CNN journalist Jim Spellman says the total lack of media coverage of the legal travails faced by Fox News reporter Jana Winter for protecting her sources clearly demonstrates an anti-Fox News bias in the press. In March, the number of Americans who dropped out of the labor force increased by 663,000 which adds up to a record 90 million Americans who are no longer looking for employment. It would take superspin powers to portray the March jobs report as anything other than a huge step in the wrong direction. The US economy added just 88,000 jobs last month, 95,000 in the private sector as public payrolls fell by 7,000. The official unemployment rate ticked down a tenth of a point to 7.6%. 1. That is a paltry number of jobs, more or less matching assumed labor force growth per month. So the economy must add at least that many jobs just to keep the labor market at current depressed levels.

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. It´s the spongy complex of proteins, found naturally in wheat, rye, and barley, that gives elasticity to dough and allows it to rise. When flour is moistened and either kneaded or mixed into dough, gluten molecules form an elastic, microscopic latticework that traps the carbon dioxide produced when yeast ferments, causing dough to inflate like a hot air balloon.
