Support for Roe. V. Wade
Reaches All-Time High

Townhall, by Daniel Doherty

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 1/22/2013 11:31:01 AM

Regardless of one’s position on the High Court’s infamous decision forty years ago today to legalize abortion “[a]t any stage of pregnancy, for any reason,” most Americans -- not to mention legal scholars and academics -- recognize that Roe is bad Constitutional law. Nevertheless, support for the controversial ruling has reached an all-time high, at least according to a new Wall Street Journal/NBC poll: Forty years after the Supreme Court legalized abortion in its Roe v. Wade decision, seven out of 10 Americans support the groundbreaking rulings, according to a poll released Tuesday.

Comments:
This is terribly depressing. I thought I had read that the pro-life groups were now a majority. Was I ever wrong.

I wouldn´t trust any poll coming from NBC, even if the WSJ is partially involved.

Lets see...

"Do your support a womans right to choose?" Asked that way, big support for Roe V Wade.

"Do you support a womans right to kill her child?" Would bring a different answer...

This is a result of the leftist domination of media and academia, plain and simple. And also of Republicans/conservatives doing the same things over and over and over.

But the thing here is that Roe V Wade may be supported, but abortion isn´t so much. Clinton´s empty: safe, legal and rare, promise is indeed something people prefer. The same people who don´t want laws to take guns don´t want laws to make these other decisions.

However, abortion is evil. So how do we stop it? By changing tack. Information. Flood the zone. Make certain that girls see 3D sonogram pictures. That they learn about gestation from conception to birth.

By focusing on overturning Roe v Wade, the life movement has given the information (or squashing of it) advantage to the leftist, death community.

Most people are too young to know that the abortion movement was started to reduce the number of blacks being born into society (they claimed it was to control a growing population.) Of course, now it simply represents a means of permitting recreational, unprotected sex, with minimal consequences. Besides, it is a freebie for many.... Freebies from the taxpayer always become popular.

Two earth changing events took place on January 22. The first was in 1972. The deaths of millions of innocent babies was authorized by the murderous monsters on the Supreme Court of the United Sates. It is truly one of the darkest days in world history.

The second event was the birth of my daughter, one of God´s sweetest and most precious daughters. She was born in Fairbanks, Alaska on January 22, 1977. She came quick! The doctor only had one arm in his gown. He caught her in his bare hand. Otherwise she would have been dangling off the end of the delivery table, swinging like a soap on a rope! Happy birthday sweetheart! It is truly one of the brightest days in world history!

Everyone rejoice!

The woman´s right to choose, and the woman murdering her baby are the same thing. Hence it is each woman that decides to abort, who is most at fault for each abortion..

Until anti-abortion people start concentrating on changing the woman´s mind who has decided to get an abortion, to NOT getting one, much effort is wasted.

I see a parallel development in this process.

Where have all the real men gone?

Oh sure, some of them would want the child but are in fact powerless to keep a woman from having an abortion. But face it, how many times have you heard of that happening?

Instead, "men" are in the forefront of all this, helping with the decision to abort, demanding it, or wimpily going along with it. What kind of a man takes his girlfriend to an abortion appointment? What kind of a man allows his child--especially late term--to be murdered under his watch. I am NOT talking about rape victims, incest, etc, I am talking about normal, healthy babies that are just "inconvenient".

What kind of man contributes to the Townhall forums, sitting on their useless brains and typing out support of all abortions?

What has happened to men in this country? Aside from a dwindling minority, nothing but irresponsible, braying, wimpy cowards that can´t handle a baby, can´t handle responsibility, and have no idea what it means to be a man.

Abortion will continue to grow as humans continue to be more and more selfish. It is cheaper for a man to pay for an abortion than it is to pay child support.

Murder is murder.
And this terrible murder is particularly gruesome and grisly.
