Michelle Obama rolls eyes at
John Boehner, sets Internet aflame

Yahoo! News, by Eric Pfeiffer

Monday’s post-inaugural luncheon was a case study in body language--and nearly all of the physical evidence centered on House Speaker John Boehner. One interaction in particular already became an Internet meme: Michelle Obama rolling her eyes after listening to a comment from the Ohio Republican congressman. Tumblr blogger “Mattyrab” was the first to capture the eye roll in action, sharing video of the exchange in a display described as a “historical moment in shade throwing.” The video has already been shared thousands of times across social media sites with viewers speculating on what sparked the First Lady’s facial expression.

Graceless being, yes. Human is questionable.

Totally classless but we knew that four years ago when she said, "for the first time in her life she was proud of her country."

This is why Boehner is effective. He deeply bothers these people and he´s not easily ostracized, unlike Newt.

I watched it three times. All I saw was a woman shoveling food into her face. Who knows what she was reacting to. There´s enough wrong with this couple already, let´s not try to invent things. The media on both sides want to create controversy. If she did roll her eyes so what. Does that raise your taxes.

What´s more bothersome to me--and to Mrs. Boehner as well, it would appear--is John groveling in pet-me-puppy mode. Maybe he´s trying to get under her skin. who knows, but his wife is having none of it.

I understand that one of the problems with snorting cocaine is that it causes tissue damage in one´s nose. And in extreme cases, the cocaine can actually cause a phole in the septum.
Dead Ted Kennedy, back in the 1970s, was, along with Chris Dodd, known to snort cocaine, and would often fiddle with his nose, almost absentmindedly. I saw that up close and personal, back in 1972. It was an almost involuntary movement.

LONDON - NATO says tens of thousands of Russian troops are massed on the border with Ukraine for a potential invasion, yet Western states still lack a strategy to stop Moscow from intervening in its former Soviet neighbors. (Snip) Ultimately, Moscow´s commitment to rebuild the former USSR as its own unilateral sphere of influence may outstrip the determination of Washington and its European allies to stop it. Experts say Moscow has been infiltrating its neighbors ever more deeply, building its influence amongst security forces, government officials and politicians. That, some say, allows it to stir up instability in locations like

TMZ reported Thursday that police are in the beginning stages of investigating an alleged incident which TMZ said happened at the Viceroy Hotel in Miami earlier this month. The story said the police were investigating for "possible sexual assault," but Bay Area News Group crime reporter Natalie Neysa Alund wrote that the incident is not being investigated as a sexual assault. Disney said it tried to solve the issue in October with a new policy, igniting furor from some quarters. A new poll conducted by a Democratic pollster is warning of potential impending disaster for Democrats in this year´s midterm elections because of a familiar problem — diminished turnout among voters on whom they are reliant. The Washington Post´s Greg Sargent got an early look at the poll, which was conducted by Democratic pollster Stan Greenberg of Democracy Corps for Women’s Voices Women Vote. The poll found that voters in the so-called "Rising American Electorate" — unmarried women, minorities, and younger voters — are much less likely to vote this year than in 2012. The disparity is key.
