During his inauguration speech, President Obama spoke of the class divide in the nation, saying: “For we, the people, understand that our country cannot succeed when a shrinking few do very well and a growing many barely make it. We believe that America’s prosperity must rest upon the broad shoulders of a rising middle class. We know that America thrives when every person can find independence and pride in their work; when the wages of honest labor liberate families from the brink of hardship. We are true to our creed when a little girl born into

To me that was the most divisive, anti-American parts of this diatribe. The only thing missing was all the deviant miscreants from Occupy Wall Street. He sure isn´t president for "all the people." Even John F. Kennedy must be rolling over in his grave.

You have made that situation WORSE by crushing the private sector, you deceitful, worthless creep. The wealthy now enrich themselves by buying access to taxpayer money in DC.

So, a few who are doing really well is a problem? And for the many who are struggling, it´s the governments job to help them? They can´t help themselves?

The more of the nation´s wealth we can gather here in DC, the more comfy we can make the couch-sitters waiting for their checks...The unlimited income possibilities in public sector sinecures and influence peddling schemes point the way to a golden future of kickbacks and bribes for us Dems...

To quote Ronald Reagan, "There you go again". Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Zero Sum Barry: Wealth cannot be created, it can only be redistributed. If you are doing well, someone else is not and it is your fault beacuse you can only do it at their expense. The history of the US is living proof that this philosophy is pure garbage, derived solely to foster and push a socialist political agenda.

Has anyone noticed that obama has never asked that the "ones who barely make it" need to change the way they live. I am not talking about the unemployed or others who have fallen down that rabbit hole through no fault of their own. I am talking about those having children out of wedlock, those who have never worked and expect someone else to support them, those who drink too much, use drugs, hang with the wrong crowd. Those who chose to turn their backs on education and spend their "government benefits" on stripper and nail salons. Those who want others to take care of their children so they can sleep away the day or sleep around. He asks the workers to give more to the government so they can buy votes. We are so screwed. The American spirit of independence is dead and those with their hands out are over taking those who work. I hate this administration and what they have done to us. I am very afraid about what the next four years hold for us.

#6, MLK was a Republican and believed in all people being equal--not some being more equal than others. Just because the left has adopted MLK doesn´t mean that he would adopt them. He was very anti-communist. With regard to JFK...while he may have done some boneheaded things, he was still quite conservative for a Democrat (even back then).

So his solution is for fewer people to do well and a growing many to hardly make it? That sure spreads the wealth around, puts everyone on the same playing field, and guarantees a permanent unemployed class.

But don´t worry about it, because he will continue to print those food stands and welfare checks even after there is no one left to support his grand scheme.

The only spending cuts Obama believes in are the spending cuts of the citizens who don´t have any extra money to spend! And it´s reaching to the top - even successful and "wealthy" are feeling the pain i.e. Phil Mickelson.

Pelosi says that unemployment benefits stimulate the economy, and I guess Obama thinks the same way about food stamps, welfare, ssdi benefits, etc. These people can´t add 2+2.

U.S. employers added jobs at a solid pace in March in the latest sign that the economy is rebounding from a weak stretch brought on by a harsh winter. The Labor Department says employers added 192,000 jobs, slightly below February´s total of 197,000. Employers also added a combined 37,000 more jobs in February and January than previously estimated. The unemployment rate was unchanged at 6.7 percent. But a half-million Americans started looking for work last month, and most of them found jobs. Immigration reform advocates are fond of citing broad support for their cause. But in fact the coalition behind the Senate Gang of Eight comprehensive reform bill is fragile and loosely cobbled together. How could Big Labor and the Chamber of Commerce and the tech world and Big Agriculture all unite behind one bill? Very tentatively. It wouldn´t take much to break the coalition apart. And if that happens, the effort to enact comprehensive immigration reform could blow up, not just for the moment, but for some time to come. And there are signs that is exactly what is occurring now.
