Decades of glamor: Stunning
inauguration dresses chosen
by America´s First Ladies

Daily Mail (UK), by Staff

All eyes will be on President Obama at noon tomorrow when he makes his public inauguration address but come the evening the world´s attention will inevitably turn to the First Lady and the gown she has chosen to wear to the couple´s second inauguration ball. Though Michelle Obama certainly has the knack for getting it right in the fashion stakes, she may want to cast her eye over some of the inauguration dresses chosen by First Ladies gone by. The Smithsonian Museum of American History in Washington D.C. has a collection of the First Ladies choices going back 100 years,

NOT THESE EYES!

I would rather have a tooth pulled than watch fascist dictator Obama get inaugurated and get another chance at collapsing this once great nation.

How much damage does he have to do before people open their eyes and see Obama for what he is, a narcissistic, self-indulgent, disrespectful, unholy, marxist, fascist.

Michelle has the knack for choosing clothes that are too small, with boob belts, too flashy, and frankly I am usually embarrassed for her with most of her choices.

Jacqueline Kennedy appears to be the best dressed. It´s hard to tell. Poor Lady Bird looks like she´s wearing a mink infested raincoat tent. Laura Bush looks nice and in stylistic harmony with W.

I like Mrs. Nixon´s dress very much. It´s unusual and really catches the eye. I´m not a hater of Mrs. O, but really her unauguration gown was too jeune fille. She needs a more mature dress. And Mrs. O - lose the wig. It is terribly unflattering. Go back to your old hair do. Women don´t have to change their hair style every minute - there´s nothing wrong with finding a style you like and sticking to it. And I am talking to you Hillary.

Russia didn’t fire any shots in Ukraine on Monday, but there were plenty of casualties on Russia’s currency, bond and stock markets — even as Western nations rushed to plan their economic defense of the current government in Kiev. Share prices of Russian companies plunged nearly 11 percent, and the Russian ruble tumbled to an all-time low against the U.S. dollar despite Russia’s nearly half-trillion-dollar hoard of foreign exchange. The country’s natural gas monopoly, Gazprom, which sells to Ukraine and other parts of Europe through pipelines crossing Ukraine, fell about 12 percent, wiping out nearly $13 billion in shareholder value

FOR FIVE YEARS, President Obama has led a foreign policy based more on how he thinks the world should operate than on reality. It was a world in which “the tide of war is receding” and the United States could, without much risk, radically reduce the size of its armed forces. Other leaders, in this vision, would behave rationally and in the interest of their people and the world. Invasions, brute force, great-power games and shifting alliances — these were things of the past. Secretary of State John F. Kerry displayed this mindset on ABC’s “This Week” Sunday when he
