The complicit media trumpets these sad stories with glee. It fulfills their boyfriend in the White House´s agenda. They are loathe to publish the occurrence of people defending themselves with weapons against criminals which occurs more frequently.

This story shows how misinformation is spread and, as a result, produces bad policy. From the story: "Lanza, who killed himself as police closed in on him, was armed with an AR-15 assault rifle." Lanza did NOT use an AR-15 which is hardly an "assault rifle" in any case. "As NBC admits in the video above, four handguns were used to carry out that despicable atrocity." http://www.ijreview.com/2013/01/30208-nbc-admits-no-assault-rifle-used-in-newtown-shooting/ This, of course, does not lessen the horror or the Newtown tragedy but is, once again, evidence of how the MSM misrepresents facts, possibly due to its own political agenda.

This incident is probably yet another hoax perpetrated by Zippy, the Muslim brotherhood and the MSM to take away our guns...and it´s not the first time. Evidence shows that the Newtown shootings were staged in Hollywood using actors and extras culled from the MSM, and directed by ODrama himself. It´s all a ruse to disarm Christians and place them into "Reassignment" camps in Western Arizona.

Apparently #5 forgot to turn the sarcasm off. I don´t believe a lot of things I hear in the media, and Obama´s exploitation of a tragedy is despicable, but real people buried their real children in Newtown. Anyone spouting the insane theory that it was all staged should be ashamed.

Whatever you believe or want to believe that happened in Newtown...the questions are still there. Nobody is doubting that children were killed. The question is: ultimately by whom and by what motivation. Why, for example, was there printed online a call for contributions in memory of the Sandy Hook school children - two days BEFORE the shootings? That´s just ONE of the things that lead level-headed Americans to be suspicious of their government. In an age when you cannot trust the media or the government - don´t trust the media or the government.

No. 11, there´s a part of me that laughs and agrees with you! From the age of 13 to 20 is a dangerous time for boys - even the "normal" ones! But it´s during that age range where their emotions can reach overblown proportions.
We know nothing about this latest family tragedy - lets wait and see. But parents with guns and without them, remember your own teenage years and treat your kids with love and respect and reason.

If only drive-bys and other urban shootings got this much coverage.
In Stockton, California the local cable access channel shows posters offering rewards for information pertaining to unsolved murders every day. Some of these killings have been unsolved for years. No one wants to "snitch", you know.
Funny that none of the gun grabbers are concerned with this kind of crime. Perhaps it´s because they know it won´t stop when they confiscate guns from law-abiding citizens.

The night began like many at Boorda Hall, a five-story barracks at Naval Station Great Lakes, the Navy´s premier training base on the shore of Lake Michigan in Illinois. Somebody announced a party, and the hard drinking and beer pong began. A 21-year-old Marine lance corporal, so drunk on rum and Mountain Dew she was slurring her words, went to look for Kyle Antonacci, a Navy seaman she´d been dating off and on. Antonacci soon texted his friend Mike Pineda to help him deal with her. Both men had sex with her that night. But what distinguished May 8, 2009,

"She was everything a foreign service officer should be: smart, capable, eager to serve, and deeply committed to our country and the difference she was making for the Afghan people," Kerry said of the slain official.

ATLANTA – Luke Hancock came off the bench to score 20 points, walk-on Tim Henderson sparked a second-half rally with a pair of monster 3s and Louisville advanced to the NCAA title game Saturday night, escaping with a 72-68 victory over Wichita State. As the final buzzer sounded, a Louisville player tossed the ball high into the air and injured Kevin Ware stood up, thrusting his arms above his head. It was the 15th straight victory for the top-seeded Cardinals (34-5), who will play the winner of Syracuse-Michigan for the national title Monday night.

The Keystone XL Pipeline has emerged as a major issue in the Massachusetts special U.S. Senate election, with environmental groups committing nearly one-third of the $1.25 million in outside money already spent on campaigns. The biggest spender so far is the League of Conservation Voters, which has already spent more than $545,000 to help elect Democratic candidate and Rep. Ed Markey, who has a strong pro-environment platform. “Our field campaign is resonating with voters across Massachusetts,” said Navin Nayak, a political specialist for the group. “The people of Massachusetts want climate change champion Ed Markey representing them.”

Now that it’s almost departure time for Julius Genachowski, Obama’s first chairman of the Federal Communications Commission, The Hill newspaper has noted one important sign of his priorities. In his four years at the helm, the FCC hasn’t issued one fine to Hollywood for indecent content on broadcast television. Now there’s a legacy. Hollywood sends its gratitude, Mr. Chairman, for an absolutely perfect record of inaction. Who says that in Obama’s America, your campaign contributions can’t buy regulatory paralysis in Washington when needed? Few media outlets noticed. Communications Daily described Genachowski’s perfect zero as a “restrained approach.”

The battle for the potentially pivotal votes of African American legislators on a bill to legalize gay marriage in Illinois intensified Friday — as opponents and proponents alike pulled out the big guns. Weighing in on the other side, national civil rights leader Julian Bond sent a letter urging legislators to grant equal rights to “my gay and lesbian brothers and sisters.” George met with prominent Chicago area black pastors and bishops
