Algerian bomb squads scouring a gas plant where Islamist militants took dozens of foreign workers hostage found 25 more bodies on Sunday as they searched for explosive traps left behind by the attackers, a security official said, a day after a bloody raid ended the four-day siege of the remote desert refinery. The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the situation, said the bodies were badly disfigured and difficult to identify. "The bodies could be either Algerian or foreign hostages," he said. Nations continued to wait Sunday for

The Daily Mail has no problem reporting the details of this terrorist attack. They had names, photos of the Brits executed by these savages early YESTERDAY. My SIL said the BBC commented yesterday on TV that American media trying to wait till after Inauguration Day to give US any details. Even FOX has been very light on reporting this situation.

Why does the Algerian government seems almost as blood-thirsty as the terrorists?

The British hostages praised the Algerians greatly. They know how to deal with insanity.

On Monday morning, a Republican National Committee spokeswoman revealed that a major announcement was coming about the future of the Republican presidential primary process. In that moment, full of promise, the future of the Republican Party looked bright. Perhaps the GOP had finally gotten serious about the profoundly broken methods by which it selects its nominee to become the most powerful person on the planet. But that hopeful moment was only a mirage. Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus declared later that day that his announcement was merely a public relations ploy aimed at antagonizing an old foe –

In the previous week, which ended on July 28, Obama´s approval had been 46 percent in the Gallup poll and his disapproval had been 47 percent. The last time Obama’s weekly approval dropped to 45 percent or below in the Gallup poll was

Obama vacation: Martha´s Vineyard

WASHINGTON —In a few days, President Obama and his family will arrive on Martha’s Vineyard for a family vacation. For centuries, Martha’s Vineyard and the town of Oak Bluffs in particular has been the epicenter of black elitism. It has been said, “it does not matter where America’s wealthy black families winter … they summer in Martha’s Vineyard.” The island has often been called self-segregated, with most African-Americans residing in Oak Bluffs. Its harbor drew freed slaves, laborers and sailors in the 18th century, and white locals sold them land. In the late 19th and 20th centuries, middle-class blacks

A pair of suspected U.S. drone strikes killed four al Qaeda militants in Yemen as the United States maintained a heightened security alert in the country and urged all Americans to leave immediately. Security sources told CNN about the strikes but didn´t offer additional details. A Yemeni official said four drone strikes have been carried out in the past 10 days. None of those killed on Tuesday were among the 25 names on the country´s most-wanted list, security officials said. It is unclear whether the strikes were related to the added security alert in the country after

Vague terrorist threats shutting down nineteen of our embassies, Russian strongman Putin thumbing his nose at President Obama, Iran jerking our chain – the U.S. hasn’t looked this cowardly on the world stage since the Jimmy Carter administration. Here at home, too, we’ve gone back to the Carter future; unemployment is high, Keynesian economics are all the rage, our professorial president is increasingly whiny and ineffectual; all that’s missing is a cardigan sweater and that infernal violin. Our recent contre-temps with Russia is a throw-back to the weak-kneed Carter era.

Two state GOP chairmen on Monday quickly endorsed Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus’s demand that CNN and NBC drop two movie projects about the life of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. The GOP chiefs from the two early voting primary states vowed to not cooperate with the networks on any 2016 presidential primary debates. WASHINGTON— While former Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. awaits sentencing for misusing about $750,000 in campaign funds, his political organization has received its third warning from the Federal Election Commission for failing to submit reports on its finances. According to FEC records, the campaign has missed its last three report deadlines and has not filed a disclosure since December, a few weeks after Jackson resigned from office. Prosecutors want Jackson to get four years in prison when he is sentenced Aug. 14. The lack of FEC reports has left unanswered the question of whether Jackson is using leftover campaign money

In 2008 and then again in 2012, after retired four-star General Colin Powell endorsed and then voted for Barack Obama, the former Secretary of State´s sanity was already in question. At least now, after having his email account hacked by high-level security-breacher Guccifer, Colin Powell´s besmirching of the Republican Party´s "shift to the right" and "identity crisis" finally makes sense. It seems that for years the mannerly and always professional Colin Powell has been cyber-comporting with a 46-year-old Romanian European Parliament member, Social Democrat, and past spokesperson for Romanian president Ion Iliescu named Corina Cretu

Conservatives have for years attempted to put our finger upon precisely why Barack Obama strikes us as queer in precisely the way he does. There is an alienness about him, which in the fever swamps is expressed in all that ridiculous Kenyan-Muslim hokum, but his citizen-of-the-world shtick is strictly sophomore year — the great globalist does not even speak a foreign language. Obama has been called many things — radical, socialist — labels that may have him dead to rights at the phylum level but not down at his genus or species. His social circle includes

For nearly a year, we have had no answer to why the administration lied about Benghazi — why it told the world, not to mention the parents of our murdered SEALs at the funeral of their sons, that the cause of that fatal conflagration was an anti-Islamic video no one saw, when the various arms of our executive branch (White House, State and intelligence) already knew, or strongly suspected, it was a terror attack orchestrated by al-Qaeda affiliates. You only have to read the now infamous talking points to know that. That this lie was deeply immoral is obvious.

Today, across Africa, Araby and Asia, from Nouakchott to Dhaka, the diplomatic facilities of the United States are closed. There’s a Tsarnaev out there, somewhere – could be the Mahgreb, the Levant, the Horn of Africa, the Indian sub-continent – who knows? So, as Richard Fernandez writes, “Shelter in place, this time globally.” Maybe it will work. Maybe by the end of the day there will be, unlike Benghazi a year on, men in custody. But if not? Daniel Pipes: Don’t know about you, but I find this pre-emptive cringing unworthy of a great country, even humiliating.

Common sense tells me that cops don´t need a Taser or a shotgun to subdue a 95-year-old man. When John Wrana was a young man, fit and strong and fighting in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps, did he ever think he´d end this way? Just a few weeks shy of his 96th birthday, in need of a walker to move about, cops coming through the door of his retirement home with a Taser and a shotgun.

The truth about Benghazi, the Associated Press/James Rosen monitoring, the IRS corruption, the NSA octopus, and Fast and Furious is still not exactly known. Almost a year after the attacks on our Benghazi facilities, we are only now learning details of CIA gun-running, military stand-down orders, aliases of those involved who are still hard to locate, massaged talking points, and the weird jailing of Nakoula Basseley Nakoula.
