Coffers should be starting to fill a little as we all know the ss increase goes to the general fund. My son is adding over 10 dollars a week to it and I know many are adding more than that.

When the Democrats, academia, news & entertainment media and Hollywood consistently make American business the enemy of the people, this regulatory burden is to be expected. Businesses operate only for "obscene profits", exploit the poor, build death traps, rape the environment and on weekends, club baby seals to death.
We just sat through a 6 month presidential campaign that demonized an incredibly successful and generous businessman as a killer, a heartless venture capitalist and tax cheat. It worked, and unfortunately, many of us won´t under Obama.

In addition to the excessive regulations cost, the Federal Reserve has weakened the dollar by a ton since 2009, with their quantitative easing.
But the president doesn´t understand that. He is the dumbest man in the room. Always.

I must live in a different universe. I keep hearing all these stories about massive tax increases, massive increases in SS deductions. Well, maybe so for the high income folks.
Being retired, I don´t pay into SS so I can´t speak to it personally. My income tax deduction for 2013 increased $5.00.
Teachers here do not pay into SS, they have a different plan. So my daughter had no increase there, and she said her taxes went down.
Some folks swore, probably the gullible who believe all the crap in emails, that the Medicare Part B was going to jump massively high. Gee, mine only went up %5.00 also. So I get a $40.00 COLA and $10. more taken out and I net a $30 increase. Like I said, I must live in a different universe.
So what´s with the hubbbub?

New York — Federal mortgage payment relief has been extended up to one year for more than 200,000 homeowners whose houses were damaged by Superstorm Sandy. U.S. Housing and Urban Development Secretary Shaun Donovan announced the extension for homeowners with Federal Housing Administration-insured loans on Friday. A previous mortgage payment extension for federally-backed home loans was set to expire on April 30. About 286,000 homeowners with FHA-insured loans were affected by the late October storm, with nearly 96,000 in New York. Donovan said the 12-month extension was meant to help homeowners still struggling to rebuild avoid foreclosure.

The Navy’s cancellation of Blue Angels 2013 air shows extends past the federal fiscal year ending in September means the November 1-2 Homecoming Show at Pensacola Naval Air Station has been scrapped too. “It’s not just the fiscal year,” said Navy Lt. Since he first became a presidential candidate, President Obama must have spent millions of dollars in legal expenses to combat dozens of so-called "birther" challenges seeking the original documents pertaining to his birth.
