| Newark — The painting that caused such a ruckus at the Newark Public Library is uncovered again, viewable by all, and the controversy around it gone. You may remember a column last month about several staff members up in arms because they didn’t think the art was appropriate. They made such a fuss that it was covered up a day after being hung in the second-floor reference room. The huge drawing was done by Kara Walker, a renowned African-American artist whose themes deal with race, gender, sexuality and violence. Comments:
Editor´s note just below the byline warns that the image may be offensive to "some." Meaning, offensive to anyone offended by blatant, angry racism designed to rile minorities against the Evil White Man. Highlight of the piece (placed in a prominent location visible to children) is a mean-looking white man forcing a naked black woman to give him a Lewinski Special.
It´s not even good artwork. The artist´s rage likely stems from the realization that the accident of her being black is the only reason she´s considered an artist at all, let alone one of renown.

This "artist" ?? was born in 1969 - in California - which means she came of age in the 1980s - long after political correctness had infected our culture. What she knows about racism came from PC school classes and media.

This crude drawing should be hanging in the Clinton Presidential Library´s famed BJ Room, which provides an oral history of Monica and the hundreds of other women who performed the infamous Clinton Handshake on this still living icon of the Democratic Party. The same Handshake that NOW´s Gloria Steinem wanted to perform on Bill for his courageous stand on abortion.

What the artist knows about Reconstruction is what she learned from her family and from the likes of Jeremiah Wright and others like him.
It is interesting to note that an (obviously black) female employee of the library doesn´t want "my people" portrayed this way.
It is demeaning to blacks.

It was loaned by its owner to go in the City Hall. The city officials begged off saying there was no room for it. So onward to the library.

Raritan Borough — A lesbian police officer said the town’s mayor and other officials discriminated against her after she became pregnant, according to a report on MyCentralJersey.com. Kathleen Sausa, 42, told borough officials in early 2011 that she was pregnant with twins, according to the lawsuit she filed Monday in Superior Court. Sausa accuses officials of targeting her after she announced her pregnancy. The unemployment rate, because of a terrible statistic, is down to 7.6%. The number of people in this country who are not working is shameful. Ninety million Americans are no longer in the workforce.
