California´s Hispanic population
to outnumber whites by end of 2013

Daily Mail (UK), by Nina Golgowski

California´s Hispanic population is slated to become the state´s majority ethnicity by the end of this year according to a new report by the governor´s office. New ethnicity trends outlined in Gov Jerry Brown´s 2013-14 budget proposal revealed the state´s expected new majority while reasoning the state’s declining birth rates and increasing migration as causes. As early as July Hispanics are expected to be equal in size to non-Hispanic whites before outpacing them, according to the report, with both demographics in that month reaching 39 per cent of the population. It´s a swap that comes earlier than experts had expected.

Obama and his henchmen love this. All of the illegal aliens from south of the border that Obama has encouraged to invade our country will have a terminal effect. Soon the Democrats will be the one and only political party in the USA. Republicans will be a thing of the past. We Americans have given away the family farm. In my state, Californians are flooding in and bringing the same stupid PC mindset from which they flee.

As a life long Californian, I question where this will end as well.

I live in a middle class, nice town outside of LA. It is probably 50/50 white and hispanic, with some asians here and there. No big deal. There is not alot of crime, it´s a quiet place.

However, my kid´s elementary school always has TWO assemblies, one in english, one in spanish. In the morning, non-english speaking women gather and socialize in the lobby of the school as their kids get a free breakfast. I feed my kid at home, thank you. Most of the schoolkids get free lunch too, paid for by taxpayers like me. Every month, because the teacher practically begs, I bring in blank paper and other materials because they don´t get enough due to "cutbacks".

When I had a kidney stone attack, I had to sit an hour in the emergency room. Not another patient there was speaking English. Now, we could argue that just because someone is not speaking English does not make them an illegal alien, but seriously....

Yep, this hispanic growth population has real merit huh.

The Hispanic population probably already outnumbers the Anglo population and it´s probably been that way for a couple of years now. It´s difficult to get an accurate count due to frequent trips to and from Mexico, etc.

Dems split on restoring felons voting rights

Attorney General Eric Holder’s call to restore voting rights to felons after they’ve served their time in prison has split Senate Democrats. Liberal Democrats who are not facing tough re-elections this year say it’s the right thing to do, but vulnerable incumbents are steering clear of the proposal. Holder has become increasingly outspoken recently. This week he declared that state attorneys general are not obligated to defend laws that are discriminatory. Political experts say barring ex-felons from voting impacts African Americans disproportionately. Sen. In what’s become a recurring theme, the weekly addresses of President Obama and congressional Republicans offered a preview of the two sides’ political strategies heading into this fall’s midterm elections. Mr. Obama and his fellow Democrats are pushing an income-equality agenda that includes a hike in the nation’s minimum wage and more federal investment into manufacturing, infrastructure, education, and other areas. The GOP, on the other hand, continues to zero in on the president’s health-care reform law and its negative consequences, a tack the party is sure to continue heading toward the November contests. Baghdad -More than 700 people died in violence in Iraq in February, not including nearly 300 reported deaths in western Anbar province, where security forces have been battling Sunni Muslim rebels since January, the United Nations said on Saturday. The world body said local authorities had recorded 298 civilian deaths in Anbar, but that it could not confirm the figures independently due to the chaos in the desert region. Outside Anbar, the bloodshed was worst in Baghdad, where 239 civilians were killed, followed by Salahuddin province to the north with 121 dead. A total of 1,381 people were wounded.

Americans take justifiable pride in the freedoms given to them by nature or God and enshrined in the Constitution’s Bill of Rights. As we seem to be finding out day after day, however, those rights are no longer of any real value; they are, as James Madison suspected they would be, “parchment barriers” against the encroachment of government and a population conditioned to believe that rights originate with that government, not from a higher power. Which, ipso facto, means Americans have no right to free expression at all. For if it’s not the government’s role to protect expression that is thought to be offensive by a vicious mob, what purpose does the First Amendment have? “Safe” expression needs no protection, after all.
