ABC, CBS, and NBC all refuse to identify
indicted Nagin as Democrat

Newsbusters, by Brent Baker

Original Article

Posted By:Fiesta del sol, 1/19/2013 6:21:07 AM

All three broadcast network evening newscasts on Friday night ran short items on the federal corruption indictments against the bumbling former Mayor of New Orleans, Ray Nagin, but skipped his party affiliation, a fact Reuters considered newsworthy – if not until their sixth paragraph: “Nagin, 56, and a Democrat...” ABC anchor Diane Sawyer generously described Nagin as “the face of Hurricane Katrina...then the Mayor of New Orleans fighting for his city.”

Nagin was more like the rear end of Katrina as he sneaked off to Texas

The article says Nagin blamed the federal government for Katrina problems. However, no one mentions it was the local authorities who by law had to act first and did not. The media, always so anxious to blame George Bush, did so and thus was born a myth that lingers still today.

Nagin: Just another two-faced, disingenuous, double-dealing Black defecrat taking advantage of the dumbed-down, barely aware, dope-smoking, self-absorbed, media-influenced, celebrity-obsessed, Food-Stamp wielding, Escalade driving, Kool-Aid drinking, government-dependent, entitlement rich, busted-azz, free-loading, Obamaphone carrying Low-Fo Mo-Fo´s...

He maybe indicted but he will never be convicted especially if the trial is held in New Orleans IMHO. First there is jury nullification remember OJ. Second he´s black and a Democrat therefore CRT applies. All law breaking black Democrats politicians are given a pass just like the Black Panthers no matter the evidence.

#2 you make a great point, and not only does that myth still hang around today, Gov Krispy Kreme made it relevant in the 2012 election with his photo op with Obama. That myth, yet another one Bush and ROVE never ever fought against, might have cost us another four years of Obama seven years later.

Nagin, who refused to implement his city´s evac plan (remember all those school buses under water?) because he and his cronies stole (yes, stole) Cadillacs from a local dealer and drove out of town; they weren´t there to give orders. More disgraceful, in the aftermath, Nagin and then-police chief Eddie Compass ordered cops and Guard to disarm everyone in New Orleans. "No one will be allowed to be armed" were the exact words. Thousands of firearms were taken without cause from law-abiding citizens illegally.

This was the nation´s largest confiscation in history.

Nagin should have gone to prison for his misdeeds.

As for the media, their behavior is unsurprising. More people wake up to the fact ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC and most printed media are propaganda arms of the collectivist left.

Nagin fought for his city from Dallas Texas. He was the first to abandon New Orleans, and has been in Dallas since. Nagin, although a job requirement of his office, never prepared or filed a disaster plan for New Orleans. Nagin was elected because he is black. After election, he used his office to profit personally with bribes and kickbacks on government contracts to blacks and whites. Money being green, Nagin is ok from whence it comes.

The media conveniently forgets that Bush spent serious phone time with Governor Betsy wetsy Blanco at least 24 hours before the storm hit. She refused to ask for fed assistance because she was worried about looking bad. Another epic failure for feminism.

The reason Nagin gave for not using the buses was that it was too demeaning to put black people in them. He actually said that. So the means of rescue for a lot of citizens was ignored and wound up destroyed because Nagin was an idiot.
