New Jersey governor Chris Christie has slammed the NRA over their recent attack ad branding President Obama as an ´elitist hypocrite´ for having Secret Service protection for his two daughters. ´To talk about the president’s children, or any public officer’s children, who have—not by their own choice, but by requirement—to have protection, and to use that somehow to try to make a political point is reprehensible,´ Christie said in a press conference on Thursday.

The way things have been going, Christie sides with NØbama so often that it doesn´t really qualify as news any more.

Now if Christie ever actually disagreed with NØbama, that would be news.

But those Demon-RATS have to stick together. (I know Christie ran as a Republican, but if it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, and smells like a duck, and looks like a duck, it´s a duck...)

Christie will drop the charade, and either declare himself as a Demon-RAT or ´´independent´´ by the next election...

Last month, the Supreme Court decided to allow the importation and resale of foreign editions of American works, which are often cheaper than domestic editions. For the 30th straight month, the United States economy added jobs in March, albeit still at a pace too sluggish to put a big dent in the backlog of 11.7 million idle workers. The nation’s employers increased their payrolls by 88,000 last month, compared with 268,000 in February, according to a Labor Department report released Friday. The unemployment rate, which comes from a different survey, ticked down to 7.6 percent from 7.7 percent. Tokyo—The Bank of Japan [8301.JA +4.83%] is pulling out all the stops to get the economy out of deflation, its new governor said, after the central bank rolled out aggressive easing measures that surprised markets, pushing bond yields to an all-time low and boosting share prices. At his inaugural policy board meeting Thursday, Haruhiko Kuroda convinced the nine-member panel to agree to a major expansion of government bond purchases, including buying longer-term debt, which is designed to drive down longer-term rates. Istanbul--The blue-glass skyscrapers of Moscow City — fragments of Russia’s boom-time dream — are visible from the Kremlin walls, within which there was once hope that those towers could supplant the West’s financial centers. When the sun sets behind them, you can see that many of the offices lie empty. In fact, the real hubs for Russian banking are in other countries. Moscow’s billionaires squirrel their fortunes abroad, and many businessmen register their companies as British, Dutch, Swiss or Cypriot — anything but Russian.
