| After Obama finished announcing 23 executive orders aimed at guns on Jan. 16, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), Rep. Tim HuelsKamp (R-Kas.), and Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus lined up to criticize what they saw as a straightforward assault on liberty. Rubio, for his part, promised he will "oppose the president´s attempt to undermine Americans´ constitutional right to bear arms." And Huelskamp criticized what he sees as Obama´s "consolidation of power" and overall "disdain" for the Second Amendment. Priebus also focused on what he saw as "power grab" which did nothing to reduce the

Before my fellow l dotters get into a frenzy on this consider what Boehner said after Obama´s speech. He said he would not introduce aqny bill to the House until the Senate sends him one. This is smart politics folks. He knows 1) Harry Read opposes these gun bills as 14 Dem Senators from Red States are up for re-election in 2014 and 2) If the Senate votes for this he can kill it in the House and then the GOP and NRA can go after the Senators up for re-election that voted for it including any weak kneed RINOS who will be primaried. Why give away this leverage when all he has to do is watch the Senators twist in the wind?

My opinion of Boehner certainly differs from the ones saying that he is doing his job just fine-----to me, he acts like a person afraid to make a forceful statement for fear of the obama team releasing personal information he does not want in the public domain.

His response was based on the fact that the Obama administration didn´t give him and talking points, so naturally he just stood in the corner and sucked his thumb.
Someday his testacies may drop or be created but it won’t be soon. He will continue play the RINO Bi*ch for the administration until we get rid of a lot of his fellow RINOs supporting him.

I also agree with #1, #2 & #4. IMO, John Boehner is doing fine. No one has stepped up to replace him, so the sour grapes are ridiculous. Boehner is not falling into the trap of "diversion and distraction" that the demonrats are using with "gun control" to try and scare gun owners and take our minds off the fiscal catastrophe they are causing in this country. Even the despicable hairy reid knows he can´t pass anything in the Senate with his fellow demonrats that will endanger the 2nd Amendment voters! That´s why reid will not allow a vote on obama´s "gun control push".

Hunters should look to the skies, but not for canvasback ducks or fair weather. People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals will soon acquire “impressive new weapons to combat those who gun down deer and doves.” The animal-rights group plans to invest in airborne drones armed with video cameras, aiming to collect damning video footage of “any illegal activity, including drinking while in the possession of a firearm,” or evidence of maiming animals or use of spotlights and feed lures. On the potential shopping list: a remote-controlled CineStar Octocopter. “The talk is usually about

Sen. Marco Rubio’s plan for a 10- to 13-year path to citizenship for illegal immigrants is “consistent” with President Obama’s principles, White House press secretary Jay Carney said Monday. Mr. Carney’s comment suggested the president would sign off on the plan, but he cautioned that the White House would withhold support for any legislation until seeing the final language. Mr. Carney did say that the details of Mr. Rubio’s plan as reported so far are “consistent with the president’s position.” Mr. Rubio said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union with Candy Crowley” that an immigration reform plan

The Senate’s Gang of Eight on Tuesday released the details of a broad agreement to overhaul the nation’s immigration laws. The legislation would give provisional legal status to an estimated 11 million illegal immigrants and put them on a pathway to citizenship but only after a list of criteria for securing the U.S.-Mexico border are achieved. It sets goals of persistent surveillance in high-risk areas along the Southern border — sectors where more than 30,000 individuals are apprehended trying to enter the country illegally per year — and a 90-percent effectiveness rate for apprehensions in high-risk sectors.

Although no group has claimed responsibility for Monday’s deadly bomb blasts at the Boston Marathon, a leading al-Qaeda ideologue last year recommended that jihadists in America include sporting events in their list of prospective terror targets. Writing in the online magazine of Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), Inspire, the terrorist known as Abu Musab al-Suri listed what he called “the most important enemy targets.” Al-Suri contended that civilians should be targeted “when responding to a brutal practice carried out by America and her allied forces.” “This is done by targeting human

President Obama is aware of abortion doctor Kermit Gosnell’s murder trial, but White House Press Secretary Jay Carney wouldn’t speculate about whether Obama might not support legislation such as the Born Alive Act that he opposed as a state senator. “You’re asking for hypotheticals about legislation or proposed legislation that I haven’t seen,” Carney replied when Fox News’ Ed Henry asked if Obama, having voted against a Born Alive Act in the Illinois state legislature, thought the Gosnell case suggested there was a need for such a law. “The president is aware of this,” Carney also said, adding that

The federal government has been wildly unpopular for some time, explains Pew, but even with President Barack Obama in the driver’s seat, the percentage of Democrats finding favor with the federal government has plummeted 10 points in the last year, down to just 41 percent of that party. The new data mark the first time Democrats have declared the Obama-led federal government more unfavorable than favorable, with 51 percent of Democratic respondents

Since he first became a presidential candidate, President Obama must have spent millions of dollars in legal expenses to combat dozens of so-called "birther" challenges seeking the original documents pertaining to his birth. As president, he famously issued an electronic document on the White House website in 2011; the document purported to be his long-form birth certificate, though it is apparently a forgery. In addition, he has taken great pains to hide the paper trail of passport records, college transcripts, and other data -- all of which a prospective employer might require of a job applicant.

In light of the explosions that have rocked Boston on Patriots’ Day, during the city’s annual marathon, NBC reporter Luke Russert took to Twitter to speculate that today’s horrific events could possibly be related to the 1993 government siege on the Branch Davidian compound in Waco, Texas — an incident often attached to conversations about “right-wing terrorism” and anti-government violence. “I was at Fenway Park w my dad and @mikebarnicle during Waco which was on Patriots Day in 1993. Speculating on possible link,” Russert tweeted following the explosions.

Is media bias to blame for lack of Gosnell coverage? Or something far more banal? The trial of Philadelphia doctor Kermit Gosnell would seem to have all the elements of a spectacular news story: shocking allegations, horrifying visuals, sympathetic victims. Yet until late last week, much of the national media was silent as testimony about Gosnell’s alleged “house of horrors” abortion clinic rolled out. Much of the media attention outside Philadelphia, in fact, centered on how little media attention the story was receiving outside Philadelphia.

President Obama and I were college classmate at Columbia University, class of ’83. I know all too well how mindlessly liberal the students and faculty of that institution can be, and Barack Obama is certainly no exception. My time at Columbia made it crystal clear: liberals always believe they are morally superior. [Snip] It is in this cesspool of intolerance that Obama and his Marxist cronies hatched a secret plan to destroy our country. There are two things you need to know about Obama at Columbia University. First, he was Pre Law and a Political Science major- just like me.
