Piers Morgan Fails to Win
Rigged Debate on
the Second Amendment

Breitbart´s Big Journalism, by Joel B. Pollak

Original Article

Posted By:Dreadnought, 1/16/2013 7:37:01 AM

CNN’s Piers Morgan confirmed Ben Shapiro’s skepticism about whether tonight’s “debate” on gun control would be “balanced.” The Breitbart Editor-at-Large accepted an invitation to appear on Morgan’s show for a rematch, then turned down the offer when it became clear Morgan planned to turn his “town hall” into a propaganda rally. Morgan then offered Shapiro two one-on-one segments, and the debate back on was on. As fate would have it, Shapiro’s flight from Los Angeles to New York was grounded in Denver due to an unruly passenger (without a gun)

What this fool and fools like him do not understand is the gun is not the problem. The mentality of the population is the problem.

Violent crime in the USA = 466 per 100,000
Violent crime in Canada = 935 per 100,000
Violent crime in the UK = 2034 per 100,000

The UK has suppressive rules that protect the criminal, at the expense of the victim.

It is ironic to have a Brit lecture Americans on the 2nd amendment when they they were the original tyrannical government that it was needed for. We fought off the British nanny state once, only to have this bloke spewing elitism at us 240 years later!

exclude a couple square mile areas of a half dozen or so cities and recalculate the crime rate. we then are among the safest countries in the world.

Limbaugh on Obama’s executive order
vow: He sounds like a ‘dictator’
Washington Times, by Cheryl K. Chumley    Original Article

In response to President Obama’s warning that he would use more executive orders in the coming months to achieve his policy agenda, conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh scoffed, “This is just absurd,” Breitbart reported. Mr. Obama’s actual terminology on Tuesday was that he would rely on the executive power to “move the ball forward” in order to sidestep a stalled Congress. To Mr. Limbaugh, that’s the move of a dictator. “He’s basically bragging about the fact that he can do executive orders to make things ‘fair,’” Mr. Limbaugh said. “[His] entire economic policy has undermined the old saw about work

Movie producer Harvey Weinstein announced for the first time on Howard Stern’s radio show that he is making a full feature drama to try to destroy the National Rifle Association. Mr. Stern asked Mr. Weinstein on Wednesday whether he owned a gun. The Hollywood heavyweight replied that he did not and never would. “I don’t think we need guns in this country. And I hate it,” the producer said. “I think the NRA is a disaster area.” Mr. Weinstein then revealed his secret project about the gun rights group. “I shouldn’t say this, but I’ll tell it to you, Howard,”

Armed State Department security agents retreated rather than fired on terrorists who were invading the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya, on Sept. 11, 2012, according to a report released Wednesday by the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence. The Senate report says that as Islamist militants broke through the compound’s gate and began setting buildings on fire, diplomatic security agents retrieved their M4 carbine assault rifles. The agents then moved toward Building C to protect U.S. Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens, who had holed up inside. “They encountered armed attackers and decided to return to Building B to take cover rather

Congress has moved to block President Obama’s plan to shift control of the U.S. drone campaign from the CIA to the Defense Department, inserting a secret provision in the massive government spending bill introduced this week that would preserve the spy agency’s role in lethal counterterrorism operations, U.S. officials said. The measure, included in a classified annex to the $1.1 trillion federal budget plan, would restrict the use of any funding to transfer unmanned aircraft or the authority to carry out drone strikes from the CIA to the Pentagon, officials said. The provision represents an unusually direct intervention by lawmakers

DETROIT — No sign of economic strife mars the dazzling floors of the North American International Auto Show, where Vice President Biden is expected to lead a contingent of Obama administration officials Wednesday and Thursday in what amounts to a victory lap. The U.S. automobile industry was on the brink of collapse before the administration invested $80 billion to prop it up in the face of widespread opposition. Now the vast majority of bailout money has been recouped and car companies are thriving. But if Washington saved the domestic auto business, it has yet to transform it into the small-car-producing,

Faced with a recalcitrant Congress and a constrained budget, President Obama and his top aides are increasingly working to mobilize an outside coalition of corporate, nonprofit and academic groups to promote White House economic and social policies. The strategy will be on display Thursday as the White House holds a summit with more than 100 college and university presidents, who will promise to enroll more low-income students and ensure that they graduate. This month, the administration also will sponsor a session for corporations that pledge to hire the long-term unemployed. The president is privately exhorting his allies to do more

Foreign plaintiffs cannot bring suit in America against foreign defendants for events that took place entirely on foreign soil, according to a Jan. 14 unanimous judgment by the Supreme Court. If part of a global business empire committed illegal acts involving foreigners in a foreign country, but also owns a subsidiary in America, those foreigners cannot sue here for those illegal acts. It would violate the Due Process Clause of the Constitution’s Fourteenth Amendment for any state courts here in the U.S. to claim jurisdiction over the foreign company. The case is Daimler AG v. The figures, part of a monthly progress report on the marketplaces that was issued Monday, offer the first glimpse into whether the health plans available under the Affordable Care Act are becoming provinces of the old and sick or are managing to attract young, healthy people who have not previously considered

Black dogs don´t get as adopted as easily as others animals of other colors. The reason is largely because of some common misconceptions about them. Black dogs are mischaracterized as mean and potentially violent and according to NBC News. Black Dog Syndrome is a phenomenon in which dogs with black fur often go unadopted because of misinformed stereotypes. Black dogs are are euthanized at a much higher rate than dogs with different complexions. Many owners of black dogs say they are sweet, lovable, but also unwanted. The chances of being adopted are poor if you´re a black dog.

Only days after we learned the Obama administration had appointed an Obama donor to head investigations into the IRS targeting of conservative organizations, we now have a leak from law enforcement saying the FBI doesn’t expect to file criminal charges. That’s the gist of a late-breaking story Monday evening in The Wall Street Journal. The story notes that though the investigation may go on another few months, unless other evidence is unearthed, the FBI conclusion will be that the IRS was a “mismanaged bureaucracy” enforcing rules “ it didn’t understand.” Without the evidence, we’re not in a position to say.
