Liberal media glazes over Obama press conference attacks, contradictions

| President Barack Obama’s Jan. 14 press conference included many attacks and much self-praise and numerous contradictory charges — few of which were recognized or highlighted by the reporters that presented the event in terms vary favorable to the president. Republicans “demonize” him, Obama complained, shortly after he declared that Republicans were putting an economic “gun at the head of the American people … [and] threaten to wreck the entire economy.” “I’m a pretty friendly guy,” he said, not long after suggesting that he would stop checks for veterans and retirees if the GOP didn’t raise the White House’s $16.4 trillion credit limit.

The national center of missing and exploited children should be notified today that Obama is going to exploit children to enhance yet another presidential power grab. He can´t win on the proposal alone so he has to exploit innocent faces to get his way. Sickening.
there´s gazillions of gun laws already on the books in this country, yet criminals are having a field day under Obama and Holder.

The msm would have us believe them rather than our own eyes and ears.
Clearly from the polls no one is buying their dog poop.
We do want our school children protected by armed police officers.
We do want the government to stop spending spending spending.
We don´t want any more borrowing.
We don´t want anymore people on food stamps, getting free phones, or free anything else.
The black population has nearly been destroyed by this man. They know it too.

At one point in time the press was actually responsible. They certainly can´t call themselves reporters anymore. If they were honest, they could have so much to write about - the list is too long but we all know the topics. What a pouty little wannabe dictator.

Obama threatens to cut the most important, desirable, constitutional parts of government while leaving the wasteful bloated corrupt over regulation untouched. He is no better than any municipal politician who cuts fire and police protection first so as to prevent any cuts to bloated government. What is needed is a GOP with the guts to confront him on this and point out what he does not cut every time he doesn´t pay the military or the SS cheques. This debate can be won but not if you don´t have the debate and leave this demagoguery unchallenged.

If there is a first principle of conduct, it is this: Consequences Affect Future Behavior.
When journalists sit silently and "do nothing" in the face of repeated incidents of distortion/blatant propaganda, they are actually doing something--not challenging absurdities tends to encourage them over time. Even worse, when influential journalists turn a blind eye to obvious distortion, they enable invalid thoughts to spread far and wide.
History is likely to be very hard on those who have abandoned their journalistic responsibilities.

Above are the shameless marching orders of second-term-emboldened, “flexible” President Barack Hussein Potemkin Obama to his slavishly obedient messengers bearing his lies.

Back in the day schools didn´t have cafeterias to serve food. Kids that had to eat at school brought their own lunch. When the government got involved with feeding kids, it was the road to what we have now, a socialist country where the government has now become the Nanny state. Parents have abdicated their responsibility and authority to the government. They started in the schools and thanks to Lyndon Johnson´s Great Society we have the mess we have today. Too bad we have so many citizens demanding these services because they are too comfortable being poor. Trillions spent and all we have for it is a bunch of folks who refuse to work and have no reason to want anything better for themselves. We can´t afford them anymore.

The points being made here are all thoughtful and very clear. But, look...we passed on the opportunity last November to start fixing the problem. While I never viewed Romney as the grand savior, I did view him as a person who could have started laying the groundwork for the re-birth of America as the constitutional republic it once was. The real leg work was to come from his successors among the republican ranks who would have the where with all to re-engineer the party - people who possess the real messaging skill.
This third-party talk is well and good and I see many points. But, if there are say 20 million of us TP´ers of voting age who would form a third political party, this will not win presidential elections where we are up against 70 million well-programmed sheep. I gaurantee none of the sheep would ever bolt from the dims for a new conservative party.

The Obama administration wants to consign the Benghazi terrorist attack to the history books, but this week three State Department officials will tell Congress that the Obama administration’s version of history is false — and that the falsehoods it told the American people were willful and deliberate. One of the whistleblowers, Mark Thompson, deputy coordinator for operations in the State Department’s counterterrorism bureau, was in direct, real-time communication with people on the ground during the Sept. 11, 2012, attack in Libya, before he was locked out of the room. Yet despite his firsthand knowledge of how the attack

If it wasn’t obvious beforehand, it became clear last week that Ted Cruz is likely to run for president. On Wednesday, the freshman senator’s advisors spilled the beans about his thinking on 2016 to National Review (short version: highly doable), and Friday Cruz showed up in the critical primary state of South Carolina to speak at the state GOP’s “Silver Elephant Dinner.” Which raises a question conspiratorial liberals have been waiting to ask of a Republican since at least 2008: Is Ted Cruz, who was born in Canada to an American mother and a Cuban father,

We have seen in the Boston bombings case how terrorists depend on a network of sympathizers. But the Russian connection remains a mystery. The press should follow up on the Russian angle to the Islamic terrorist bombers story before President Obama gets carried away with cooperating with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The assumption by the media that the former KGB officer is genuinely interested in helping the U.S. solve its Islamic terrorism problem should be subjected to scrutiny. After all, al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri has been identified by KGB defectors as a Russian agent.

South Carolina’s suspense-filled special election between Republican Mark Sanford and Democrat Elizabeth Colbert Busch comes to a close Tuesday — and it’s anyone’s guess how it will end. Will enough Republicans hold their noses and vote for Sanford, despite their misgivings about his personal conduct, to put him over the top? Or are there enough energized Democrats in the heavily GOP district to carry the day for Colbert Busch? Colbert Busch seemed to be in the driver’s seat a week ago, but the late momentum has been with Sanford. The race is now so close — a weekend survey

When it first became clear that the CIA’s Benghazi talking points had been altered, many of us viewed the White House as the prime suspect. After all, it served President Obama’s political purposes to claim, at the height of a political campaign in which he was taking credit for the fall of al Qaeda, that the death of a U.S. ambassador was down to spontaneous outrage over a video, rather than pre-planned terrorism. It turns out, however, that the State Department was the prime culprit. It was State that pushed back hard against the original talking points.

Republican lawmakers, who have spent months seeking to tie President Obama to last year’s deadly attack on the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, are increasingly focusing their probe on a new target: former secretary of state Hillary Rodham Clinton. The GOP-led investigation of the Sept. 11, 2012, assaults that killed U.S. Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens and three others now centers heavily on the State Department and whether officials there deliberately misled the public about the nature of the assault. Three State Department officials are scheduled to testify before a House committee on Wednesday about the Benghazi attack and its aftermath.

Former Gov. Mark Sanford completed the trail to political redemption Tuesday with a win over Democrat Elizabeth Colbert Busch to reclaim his old seat in Congress. Sanford defeated Colbert Busch 54 percent to 45 percent, according to full unofficial results. Turnout was heavier than expected, with about 32 percent of the district’s 455,702 registered voters casting ballots. Sanford, who has never lost an election, returns to the 1st District seat he held for three terms from 1995-2001. From the start, the Obama administration’s account of what happened in Benghazi, Libya, on Sept. 11 last year didn’t quite square for Sharyl Attkisson. So the veteran CBS News reporter dug in, and kept digging. The result: Attkisson has been a persistent voice of news-media skepticism about the government’s story. On the air and online, Attkisson has questioned the administration’s timeline and its response. (Snip) While other media, particularly Fox News, have been similarly skeptical about the official narrative about Benghazi, Attkisson and CBS might put the story in a different light. As a much-decorated reporter from a news
