Report: BBC Star Abused

Breitbart's Big Journalism, by Warner Todd Huston

British police have finally issued their first major report on the criminal sex scandal that has rocked Britain´s TV and entertainment industry, the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), for well over a year and the details are shocking. Late BBC TV and radio star Jimmy Savile is accused of physically abusing hundreds of children--the youngest of whom was just 8--as well as many young adults whom he met through his high profile charity work at various children´s hospitals throughout England. Savile's crimes began in Manchester in 1955, peaked in the late 70's and early 80's,

Shall we give BBC the same punishment as was given to Penn State?

FTA`"It might not be surprising that The New York Times is not keen to note who was the actual BBC chief during the end of Savile´s crime spree. As it happens, the man in charge of the BBC during the last seven years of Jimmy Savile´s life was none other than Mark Thompson, now the CEO of The New York Times."

I read the same article published in the Daily Mail and they made no mention of Mark Thompson that I recall.
Savile looks deranged doesn´t he? And they had no idea this was going on..."requires the suspension of disbelief" as one of our illustrious Senators is wont to say.

The investigation has already netted dozens of other pedophiles. The BBC is kinda like Disney.

They ALL knew what was going on. They ALL participated in it or thought nothing wrong. We call them democrats or hollywood celebrities over here. See Morgan Freeman and him having sex with his 12 year old step-granddaughter!!

Hollywood keeps giving him awards.

Sexual perversion is a career enhancement at the NY Times.

One might even conclude that it´s a mandatory requirement. Thompson will do just fine there.

These crimes were so numerous and widespread, it is almost inconceivable that the British media (as well as the BBC) did not know what was happening. Where was Piers Morgan on this story?

How close was Piers Morgan to Savile before he (Piers) got run out of Britain. He swears he is not going back. Maybe this is the excuse to send him back--or at least out of USA.

Maybe he can get a job in the Democrat party. They need a big name pedophile to help celebrate their diversity image and pander to their base

How about treating the BBC and the NYT like they treated Priests?

It makes me sick to think what Jimmy has done. Growing up in Scotland every little kid wanted to be on His tv show Jim ´ll fix it.

North Korea’s young leader Kim Jong-un is waiting for United States President Barack Obama to make a phone call to Pyongyang to discuss easing tensions on the Korean peninsula, according to Russia’s news agency Itar-Tass. The report cited United Kingdom diplomats, saying Pyongyang was demanding the U.S. president personally call Kim Jong-un as one of the conditions to relieve the current conflict at hand. Itar-Tass also quoted the U.K.’s Sky News as saying North Korea currently has eight nuclear warheads.

HARTFORD, Conn. -- With time running out on the chance to pass gun control legislation, President Barack Obama on Monday warned Congress not to use delaying tactics against tighter regulations and told families of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting victims that he´s "determined as ever" to honor their children with tougher laws. Obama´s gun control proposals have run into resistance on Capitol Hill, leaving their fate in doubt. Efforts by Senate Democrats to reach compromise with Republicans over expanding required federal background checks have yet to yield an agreement, and conservatives were promising to try

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. This begs the question, “Why are we losing our religion?”

Los Angeles — Some people have had it with TV. They´ve had enough of the 100-plus channel universe. They don´t like timing their lives around network show schedules. They´re tired of $100-plus monthly bills. A growing number of them have stopped paying for cable and satellite TV service, and don´t even use an antenna to get free signals over the air. (Snip) Last month, the Nielsen Co. started labeling people in this group "Zero TV" households, because they fall outside the traditional definition of a TV home. There are 5 million of these residences in the U.S., up from

Annette Funicello, the dark-haired darling of TV´s “The Mickey Mouse Club” in the 1950s who further cemented her status as a pop-culture icon in the ´60s by teaming with Frankie Avalon in a popular series of “beach” movies, died Monday. She was 70. Beginning a week of high pressure on gun control, the White House on Monday accused some Republican senators of cowardice for planning to filibuster gun legislation without allowing the full Senate to vote on President Obama’s initiatives. “If they oppose this legislation, have the courage to say so on the floor and vote no,” said White House press secretary Jay Carney. “Don’t block it. Don’t hide behind a procedural action to prevent a vote. That’s the wrong thing to do, and that’s how the president clearly feels.”

Chelsea Clinton has raised her profile in the last few days, which sparked the inevitable question about the former first daughter´s future: Will she ever be like Mom and Dad and run for office? Clinton, 33, essentially said "maybe" in an interview that aired Monday on NBC´s Today show. "Right now I´m grateful to live in a city, a state and a country where I strongly support my mayor, my governor, my president and my senators and my representative," said Clinton, whose father, Bill, was president from 1993-2001 and her mother, Hillary

More than 700 Special Operations veterans are urging members of Congress to back a select committee to investigate last year’s Benghazi terrorist attack, according to a letter first obtained by Fox News. The letter from the group, “Special Operations Speaks,” supports the appointment of a special committee tasked with the single mission of investigating the attack that left Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans dead, and shut down the CIA operation in an annex of the Benghazi consulate, in the Sept. 11, 2012 attack. “Congress must show some leadership and provide answers to the public

President Barack Obama is bringing 11 relatives of those killed in the shooting at Connecticut´s Sandy Hook Elementary School to Washington on Air Force One on Monday so they can personally encourage senators to back gun legislation that faces tough opposition. There was growing buzz over the weekend that a bipartisan agreement on gun control — a deal that would expand background checks — could hit the floor as early as this week. However, any deal could be derailed by the looming threat of a Republican filibuster involving Texas Sen. Ted Cruz. With Cruz standing proudly in the way of any gun legislation, Democrats are trying to make him pay a political price — and even a couple of high-profile Republicans are questioning his tactics.

Amid all of the very real threats of war and stuff from North Korea, you´d think American intelligence officers want as much video footage of the enemy as possible. Well, here is one video featuring North Korean exercises and Kim Jong-Un holding a gun, and we´ll say this: they certainly get points for presentation. Remember the clap-happy report from Dennis Rodman´s diplomatic basketball vacation? This video comes courtesy of the same Youtube channel that gave us that Rodman video. It appears to be the same state news channel.(Snip for video)This latest dispatch from North Korea´s state television
