| A man who jumped into a tiger den at the Bronx Zoo and survived a mauling has pleaded not guilty to trespassing charges. The Bronx district attorney’s office says David Villalobos was arraigned Friday and released until another court appearance March 12. The 25-year-old Villalobos had told investigators his Sept. 21 leap was not a suicide attempt but “a desire to be one with the tiger.” He jumped from a monorail car in the zoo’s Wild Asia exhibit and cleared a 16-foot-high fence. He was attacked by a 400-pound Siberian tiger named Bashuta.

What ultimately happened to the tiger? If it was raised in a zoo this may be its first time attacking a human. Did this jerk open a whole new world for this animal? Is the tiger now a danger to its keepers?
If the tiger had killed him, it probably would have been put down. This guy needs the book thrown at him.

The airline industry is warning that passengers would shoulder the financial burden if Congress backs new taxes on tickets and air carriers in the Obama Administration’s budget proposal. “The president’s budget represents an unprecedented tax grab on the backs of airlines and their customers, who already pay more than their fair share of taxes,” Nicholas E. PHOENIX — Authorities say law officers in Arizona have intercepted an explosive device that was earmarked for Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio. The Maricopa County Sheriff´s Office said late Thursday night that the device was contained in a package addressed to the sheriff at his downtown Phoenix office. The sheriff´s office says Flagstaff, Ariz., police reported that the package appeared suspicious so it was x-rayed and the device detected. A bomb squad team neutralized the explosive. An April 11 picture from North Korea (DPRK) shows female soldiers patrolling along the Yalu River in 4-inch platform heels. Given that DRPK leader Kim Jong-un has South Korea, Japan, and the U.S. on high alert amid hints of a ballistic missile test and threats of nuclear war, this is a strange sight. Usually the bizarre images coming out of the Hermit Kingdom come from propaganda videos, but sometimes we get shots like this and the one showing Kim´s logitech mouse.

WASHINGTON — Attorney General Eric Holder, the nation´s chief law enforcement officer, returned to the courthouse where he once served as a judge, this time in the role of prospective juror performing his civic duty. The Justice Department said Holder wasn´t chosen and that he won´t be called back. Had he been selected for the jury Tuesday, the attorney general would have been on a panel hearing an armed robbery case. Holder sat in the last row of Judge Stuart Nash´s courtroom along with other prospective jurors as the judge gave details of the case.

MSNBC´s programming became almost entirely full of commentary and opinion in 2012, while "factual reporting" saw almost no airtime, according to a new report from the Pew Research Center. The U.S. has been denied direct access to the only publicly known suspect in custody in connection with the Benghazi terror attack, Fox News has learned, with U.S. interrogators still unable to sit in the same room as the Egypt-held prisoner to ask questions. Abu Ahmed, also known as Mohammed Jamal, is suspected of establishing Islamist training camps in Eastern Libya where militants who took part in the Sept. 11 Benghazi terrorist attack were able to train.
