Republicans, conservatives, Tea Party folk and patriots are ripe for a leader to emerge to take the fight to Obama and liberal Democrats. Boehner appears not to be the man. It must be soon however, the tyranny and oppression of King George Obama and Washington Democrats is out of control.

Jobs,the economy and debt/deficit were supposed to be the big election issue which would seem to favor Romney/Ryan but maybe Obama supporters were motivated to the polls because they actually believed Romney would cut spending,mainly welfare benefits.I heard a black woman say she couldn´t vote for Romney because she was a afraid Romney would do away with welfare.Going after SS and Medicare for spending cuts wasn´t a very good idea to run on,scaring seniors.

Obviously,people don´t care about jobs like they did only a few short years ago. Instead they invested their energy into wider government benefits packages.

Why didn´t the GOP fight the unemployment extension.All this did was give people another year off.What´s the justification anyway when unemployment is only 7.8% anyway?

The main problem with the Conservative crowd is so obvious a blind man could see it. Every body is waiting for a leader. Quit waiting for some one else to do what each of us should be doing in our areas of influence.
The Constitution starts with We the People and with the Bill of Rights ends with the words, to the people. Everything in between is our responsibility, we are to control and stand in the way of usurpation. Quit waiting start doing.

Good article, but it is too soft on the RNC leadership, whose incompetence and cowardice underlie the problems we face today. These leaders feel entitled to provide a "loyal opposition" instead of an actual alternative vision. No wonder they do all they can to marginalize the TEA. The problem isn´t necessarily the leadership or lack thereof. The problem is media, media, media. The media demonize every possible opposition to their God, and mercilessly mock those who don´t agree with them. As long as Pravda of the USSA is control of the message, the opposition doesn´t have a prayer. The problem is not low information voters, but misinformed voters. At least Pravda USSR occasionally tells the truth, which is more than our traitorous media does.

Everything Obama and his Thugocracy and Dems (same difference) are doing can be found in WWII times - generally in events leading up to WWII. Even more specifically, our times seem similar to events prior to the invasion of Poland in September 1939 - that month seems to be a popular month for invasions and terrorist activities doesn´t it.

Some people believe in placing blame where the blame belongs. Too many people are displacing their anger onto people in the Tea Party movement when the anger should be directed at the courage less GOP, especially the leadership, who will not use the power they have to answer Obama´s power grabs.
Obama knows THEY will not stop him. If they don´t act they deserve to lose in 2014. Our displeasure should send them a message. Act or get out of the way and let others with backbone fight the good fight.
The blame put on the Tea Party is just a distraction from the failure of the GOP at the national level, the same game Obama plays to distract from his evil doings.

Sarah Palin could lead a growing Tea Party and prevail in rebuilding the Republicans into something that could turn this country around.
However, the Establishment Republicans in Congress want no part of Palin or the Tea Party. Their snubbing of same at the Republican National Convention made that obvious.

Yes, it could be too late for the Republican party to be effective in 2016.
A Third Party also would not be effective in 2016, but 2018 looks to be a Republican/Conservative year. A Third Party, begun NOW, could prevail in 2018.

Thanks to my pastor of 40 years(now in Heaven & military friend of Barry Goldwater´s while holding secure Luke Field in WWII)I learned that the "French underground"(who we glorified)was truly a communist group waiting to take over France. Seems like we have the same scenario here in our Republic. Had to laugh at stupid Geraldo on Fox & Friends when talking about gun control that "Americans were afraid of their own government" - Doocey didn´t make a comment but at least the truth came forward. We really need a leader & Jim DeMint is now at Heritage but Rubio,Cruz & Rand Paul are still aroud.

The greatest tragedy for the nation is Obama but close behind is the lack of leadership on the republican side. I completely understand the frustration and desire to start a third party. The republicans want tea party votes but they take them for granted because they have nowhere else to go and betray them every time. The GOP could learn something from Obama. He was loyal to his most radical base while the GOP take the tea party for granted to chase after votes they will never get. In this case good politics and beneficial policy coincide and the GOP does neither. This is no time for timid leadership, the nation is at stake.
