Politically Correct Checklist for
Those Praying at Inauguration?

National Review Online, by Jordan Lorence

Original Article

Once again, liberal activists have demanded a theological litmus test for the pastor who will pray at President Obama’s Inauguration ceremony. Pastor Louie Giglio of Passion City Church in Atlanta has been forced to withdraw his acceptance to pray at the inauguration because activists found a sermon from the mid-1990s where he preached the Biblical doctrine defining marriage as one man and one woman. Because Giglio applied that doctrine to homosexual behavior, activists howled that he must not pray at the inauguration. The president did not ask Giglio to give a sermon on marriage or appoint him to direct marriage policy

Personally, I am disappointed Giglio even accepted!----To me, it´s a patina of blessing upon the president, the inauguration, the administration, communism, liberalism, gun grabbing socialism, etc.-----Very very disappointed in Giglio.----What was he thinking????----I assure you the evangelicals will not be happy!

Look around...God is not blessing this president. He destroys everything he touches . It will make no difference which Pastor, Rabbi, imam or Witch the White House selects for this photo-op.

The "prayer" is for appearances because It´s "still" tradition and expected. So....they will come up with something bland, banal and inoffensive to leftist sensitivities, while not antagonizing the "wingers"

I detest liberals a little more every day. And whats sad, is that most democrats arent liberal. They just believe that republicans are racist, bigoted, homophobic hate mongering evil religious fanatics. Its what the media tells them.

The politically-correct wouldn´t like Heaven anyway!

Obama is digging deeper each time he aligns himself with Satan´s agenda, steal (taxes)/kill(abortion)/destroy (sodomy)!

God is not mocked, what we sow, we reap!

Just because Obama surrounds himself with those who hate God, Israel (Jesus´ homeland), the Constitution and anything/everything that proves we are in need of a Savior (not him) to prosper US!

We all need to continue to pray daily for our beloved country. God is our only salvation. He promised to come to our aid if only we ask, believing/receiving His blessings that will prosper US beyond our wildest dreams.

Obama has tried to outlaw prayer, but every time we are in trouble, prayer will come forth from those who know in their heart that Jesus is Lord and Obama is only a human being, just like all of US!

We need to make a checklist too! Keep attuned to all that Obama does to bring about separation instead of unison in this country.

We are all made in the image of God, no one is more important in God´s eyes.

America needs to rise up in prayer, centering our total attention on Almighty God, He alone able to deliver US from all evil, here and abroad. Amen

Of all the electoral maneuvers lately — Huckabee heading to Iowa, Santorum huddling with advisors, Allen West refusing to rule anything out, and even Joe Scarborough visiting New Hampshire — this is the most interesting. Is there room for Perry this time, though? Perry, a potential 2016 presidential candidate, will be in Des Moines and Davenport on Feb. 27 and Feb. 28. He will be sitting down with business leaders to discuss a wide range of issues, according to Bob Haus, an adviser in the state. He also will be taping an episode of “Iowa Press,” Iowa Public Television’s weekly public affairs program, Haus

FORT MYERS, Fla. — Charlie Crist doesn’t take to bed when he gets sick. He takes three Red Bulls, two cups of coffee, a glass of Mountain Dew, Sudafed and cough drops. Then, he discards the box of Mucinex his 81-year-old father suggested he take, pushes through the back door of a Fort Myers restaurant and wraps his arms around his Democratic supporters. “I can’t help it; I have to hug,” he says afterward, when asked whether he worries about passing on his cold to voters. “Can you even imagine not hugging?” Crist certainly couldn’t imagine it back on Feb.

The Obamacare Enrollment

Obamacare´s enrollment numbers are surging—for now. After a disastrous launch, the law´s backers are breathing a sigh of relief as enrollees flock to its insurance exchanges. But the totals are built on a shaky foundation, and at some point soon, the exchange enrollment figures are going to fall, perhaps by more than 1 million people. Right now, the administration is counting the total number of people who have selected an insurance policy under the law, rather than the number of people who´ve paid for it. But at some point, likely this spring, the administration will be forced to disclose how many people are

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is seeking a “social media analytic tool” that will give the government access to “full Twitter historical data,” according to a solicitation released on Tuesday. The agency is seeking feedback for a “possible future acquisition to provide near real time social media analysis.” HHS said it wants to use the tool for “ongoing monitoring” of public health issues. HHS provides a long list of requirements, including “access to real-time social media posts,” and “access to full Twitter firehose.” The agency requires an archive that goes back at least five years of “full Twitter historical data.”

WASHINGTON —First Mitt Romney loses a presidential election that he was predicted to win in a walk. Then he appears some 15 months later on Sunday’s “Meet the Press” to lecture the nation on how Republicans might lose the presidential election once again. “I don’t think Bill Clinton is as relevant as Hillary Clinton if Hillary Clinton decides to run for president in 2016,” Mr. Romney opined. Perhaps he forgot that Bill was elected president 21 years ago promising that a vote for him would mean acquiring two presidents “for the price of one.” Mr. Romney, Hillary is actually pretty

Silly us. Here we’ve been criticizing the Obama administration for the dismal job growth we’ve seen these past five years. Turns out, we’ve got it backward. We’ve been measuring the president by the jobs the economy has been creating during his tenure. If two top Obama officials are right, we should count it an Obama success that more Americans will decide not to work. The latest weighing in is White House economic adviser Gene Sperling. On MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” he responded to a Congressional Budget Office finding that raising the minimum wage to $10.10 per hour, as the president proposes to do,

It has become such a repeated mantra in mainstream Republican circles, that it could be nearing cliché status: If the Republican Party is looking to stay politically viable in the future, it must win over Hispanic voters. But, thus far, it has become a case of easier said than done, considering Latinos have traditionally voted overwhelmingly Democrat. But the GOP need not lose hope, party insiders say — just look to Texas. A revealing Gallup poll unveiled this month found that in the Lone Star State, more Hispanics identify themselves as Republican than in the country as a whole. Nationwide, Democrats hold

WASHINGTON, D.C., February 17, 2014 – President Barack Obama has elevated the right to have sex with a member of the same sex to the level of universal “fundamental freedoms” in a new presidential statement criticizing Uganda. How much more are black people in this country supposed to take? On Saturday, a Florida jury failed to convict Michael Dunn for the callous murder of Jordan Davis. Though he was convicted of three counts of attempted murder and also on a gun charge, a mistrial was declared for the first-degree murder charge. He will face substantial jail time – perhaps up to 75 years on the four charges for which he was found guilty. Listening to pundits talk about the potential 2016 Republican field, you’d be forgiven for forgetting about Rick Santorum. The former senator’s strong second-place showing in 2012 shocked—even scared—the GOP’s kingmakers, who saw in him an abortion-hating firebrand with no chance of beating Barack Obama. So it’s no surprise that today, the party’s mainstreamers are acting like he’s old news, again dismissing a Santorum presidential candidacy. Not that he cares. He’s too busy plotting another possible run at the White House. In recent months, Santorum has gathered his inner circle of longtime advisers to sketch out a presidential campaign. What if ObamaCare´s problems become a metaphor for the modern Democratic Party? Two portents emerged the past week.
