| Washington — The Washington National Cathedral, where the nation gathers to mourn tragedies and celebrate new presidents, will soon begin performing same-sex marriages. Cathedral officials tell The Associated Press the church will be among the first Episcopal congregations to implement a new rite of marriage for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender members. The church will announce its new policy Wednesday. As the nation´s most prominent church, the decision carries huge symbolism. The 106-year-old cathedral has long been a spiritual center for the nation, hosting presidential inaugural services and funerals for Ronald Reagan and Gerald Ford. It draws hundreds of thousands

It´s okay. There isn´t a genuine tenet of Christianity that the Episcopal Church hasn´t abandoned yet, anyway.
Soon they´ll have Episcopal "priests" performing partial birth abortions while sodomizing goats and chanting praises to Beelzebub. They´re just that "inclusive."

Whoever thinks the Left is going to stop with this when "gay marriage" is imposed everywhere has no idea what their agenda is. Next up in the faux "equal rights" charade will be group marriage, polygamy (especially the Muslim variety), pedophilia, and any version of polyamory that enables the break up the traditional family (as all Daddy and Mommy functions are to be replaced by the Beneficent State led by Dear Leader). Resistance to this radical transformation of the culture will be declared a hate crime, as will "I now pronounce you man and wife". Just wait.

Now you know why the Founding Fathers wanted to separate Church and State. Not to protect the State from Church influence. But, to protect the Church from State influence.
Everywhere the State runs the Church - the State uses the Church for it´s own political ends. And, the Church ceases to matter in people´s lives.

This is an abomination. Ø will soon force all churches to do the same. Eastern Orthodox churches are attracting more and more people wanting traditional Christianity, without accretions and "new interpretations" of Scripture of which the 22,000 protestant sects are so fond. G back to the original. Seek Christ in the Orthodox church. It is called orthodox for a reason.

This is an abomination! God´s Word never changes! God is the same yesterday/today/ forever! God does not change His mind.
Americans are accountable for what we allow!
Judgment begins with the House of God!
We are dealing with Satan, here as well as abroad!
Pray God´s Love/Grace fall upon those who seek to disclaim His authority. They are looking for Love in all the wrong places!
All are accountable for our actions as well as our "influence" upon others. Tough Love is needed here. more concerned about the feelings of others rather than their souls. Sin is real/evident in America today! We have lost our "first love", have "settled" for Satan´s deception.
God is not mocked, what we sow, we will reap. Homosexuality as well as abortion come against God. He will have the last Word. Depart from Me, for I "never" knew you.
Heaven awaits those who stand for God´s authority. Pray for those denying His way, setting God as being old-fashioned, not involved in today´s world, which is being controlled by the anti-Christ spirit, denying God´s Word (Bible) that has stood the test of time for everyone who has gone before US!
President Obama approves Satan´s plan. He is not God. He will be held accountable, as well as all who seek more to please man rather than God.

FTA: The Dean is quoted as saying, "This national spiritual space (Episcopal Cathedral) is now a place where [lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender] people can come and get married."
This is the epitome of decadence as it takes a minimum of 4 persons to become a bisexual marriage; two women and two men so each would have an equal opportunity for bisexual relations within the marriage.
Now, anyone who continues to contribute to the Episcopal Church is supporting such decadence. My suggestion: current Episcopalians stop all contributions to that church as the only way to force such decadent leadership out. Or just leave it to protect your children from such Satanic influence.
Now watch attendance and contributions drop even worse than when the national Episcopal Church appointed a Bishop who was an alcoholic formerly-married priest and father of two girls (heterosexual at that time) who at the time of his appointment was living with his homosexual lover.
Apparentlly that wasn´t decadent enough to cause the complete destruction of that den of iniquity, but maybe this new commitment to "bisexual" marriage will finish the destruction.

They´ve fallen through the cracks: millions of jobless or underemployed New Yorkers whose daily struggle is to find work and food. They certainly don´t show up in the 9.1 percent unemployment rate for the city, since they have exhausted those benefits. But the number of city residents on food stamps is on pace to jump this year from just above 1 million in 2007 to a breathtaking 2 million sometime this summer. That’s equals almost 50 percent of the city´s labor force today, which, according to the latest government calculations, shrank by nearly 200,000 people since 2011. There´s also 176,000

New York — Federal mortgage payment relief has been extended up to one year for more than 200,000 homeowners whose houses were damaged by Superstorm Sandy. U.S. Housing and Urban Development Secretary Shaun Donovan announced the extension for homeowners with Federal Housing Administration-insured loans on Friday. A previous mortgage payment extension for federally-backed home loans was set to expire on April 30. About 286,000 homeowners with FHA-insured loans were affected by the late October storm, with nearly 96,000 in New York. Donovan said the 12-month extension was meant to help homeowners still struggling to rebuild avoid foreclosure.

Nashville, Tenn. - A proposal that would dock the welfare payments of parents whose children fail school is dead. After about a 40-minute debate on the Senate floor Thursday, Republican Senator Sponsor Stacey Campfield decided to pull the bill so it can be studied over the summer. Both Republicans and Democrats expressed concern about the legislation, which sought to cut Temporary Assistance for Needy Families benefits by 30 percent if a child fails to advance to the next grade. The money could be earned back if a parent attends two conferences with teachers, takes parenting classes or enrolls the child in

Times Square is crawling with entrepreneurs who dress up as pop-culture characters and try to make a few bucks posing for photos with visitors to the big city. Yesterday, the most modest of gun control proposals died in the Senate. It would have expanded background checks to people purchasing weapons at gun shows and online sales, enjoyed 90 per cent support among the public and came on the back of the tragedy at Newtown. Yet, despite all that it had going for it, the Toomey-Manchin bill raised just 54 votes--six short of the number necessary for passage. “This is a pretty shameful day for Washington,” said Obama afterwards. It wasn’t exactly a red letter day for him, either. Why did the no-brainer bill fail? Four reasons:

We are still speculating about virtually everything right now, but I feel as though I need to explain why I find the quick and easy conversation about Muslims being radicalized in America to be so illogical and laced with bigotry. Of course, there is a global violent jihadist movement, loosely organized, that wants to recruit young men to influence policies at home and abroad and perhaps usher in the global caliphate. That ideology motivates some Muslims to kill innocent people. But you´re allowed to be a radical Muslim in America.

While the media are bearing the brunt of public skepticism over the handling of the Boston bombing, the behavior of government is also eroding public trust. Yesterday´s promised but cancelled news briefing is just one symptom. Andrew McCarthy of PJM notes that "Misinformation rather than enlightenment has been the order of the day in the investigation of Monday´s terrorist bombing of the Boston Marathon," and that part of it is the natural outgrowth of the desire of investigators to keep the details of their investigations secret, so as not to alert suspects.
