Gun violence prevention. Stop releasing violent felons when the state budget won´t allow a larger prison because some do bad judge thinks the crowded conditions are cruel and start incarcerating those with a mental history that have demonstrated the potential for violence. We already live in a cage surrounded by a very few police officers that use the phrase, "our day starts when your day ends."

Use magical thinking to eliminate all firearms and the next steps would be knife violence prevention, brick violence prevention, crowbar violence prevention, predatory pack attack violence prevention, stronger person violence prevention, younger person violence prevention...

They do not aim to prevent violence, now would they (as history shows elsewhere future victims turn in their weapons). If it was, they´d insist existing criminal laws were enforced, with strict penalties, and get the insane asylums open again.

So, why do they want to disarm us? Are they afraid of something, privy to inside information as they are?

Gun violence? Guns are not violent, I have watched mine for years and not one has done anything violent. People are violent, work on them.

Solution for nancy´s new term, every time it´s used, conservatives immediately correct the record and call it what it is---gun control. For example in a talk show discussion, if a liberal says "gun violence prevention," the conservative abruptly interrupts and says, "point of personal privilege, you mean gun control.”

Just the other day I read a blurb by a marketing-type person who suggested that "they" come up with another term for gun control. Obviously Crazy Nancy´s staff read the same thing. (Since Obamacare bill, we know that Nancy doesn´t read.)

As Rush put it, if you can stop an evil or crazy person from doing bad things with simply another law or restriction, then why stop with gun control? Why not just jump to the law that says you aren´t allowed to commit mass murder? See, problem solved.

As Rush has said, there is no law right now that says that a crazy person cannot commit mass murder. This situation is really not as complex as the liberal Democrats are making out, if they take the guns away from criminals and the dangerous mentally ill the problem is solved, but they don´t have any intention of doing that, because any new gun control laws that they pass will be aimed squarely at law abiding gun owners as they are the only ones who will obey those laws.
