Exclusive - Dershowitz:
´I Will Testify Against Hagel´ on Iran

Breitbart´s Big Peace, by Joel B. Pollak

Original Article

Prof. Alan Dershowitz of Harvard Law School is a legendary defense lawyer, and the country´s foremost pro-Israel advocate. He is also a steadfast supporter of President Barack Obama. Breitbart News spoke to him in an exclusive interview today about the nomination of former Sen. Chuck Hagel (R-NE) as Secretary of Defense. Sen. Hagel is controversial for his views on Israel, the Iraq War, Iran, and gays, among other issues. Dershowitz had, prior to Hagel´s nomination, urged President Obama publicly not to appoint Hagel to the position. Breitbart News: Does the Hagel nomination represent a

Comments:
When a well-respected dRATS pundit suggests to 0bama to "not" nominate Hagel, the pResident turns to ValJar and does what she says...again. As Israel approaches the point of war with Iran, they need strong support from US when it happens. 0bama´s new selections will have dire consequences if the GOP doesn´t try to stop his madness in destructive choices.

Rascally old liberal that he is, every now and then Dershowitz steps up and does the right thing. This is one of those times.

Hagel is a good man, Dershowitz is definitely not. What a pathetic day to see Republicans kissing the feet of this weasel.

Barack Obama hates Jews.

Chuck Hagel hates Jews.

Barack Obama won´t lift a finger to help Israel defend herself against a nuclear-armed Iran.

The importance of maintaining the security of Israel is about the only thing I agree with Dershowitz on. His position is based on his religion; mine is based on US national security, the rights of Israelis for freedom, and Christianity.
The biggest threat to the USA--even bigger than Obama--is the spread of Islam.
On most any other subject, Dershowitz can go pound sand.

So Dershowitz is on the right side in this one instance?

I just saw the lovefest between Piers Morgan and Alan Dershowitz against the uncivilized Americans and our love of guns. Barf. We expend a lot of effort and love on the Jews who dislike conservatives and reliably vote Dhimocrat. Go figure.

Shannon, Ireland - Halfway home from Saudi Arabia, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry has abruptly changed course and will stay in Europe for talks on the Ukraine crisis. Flying from Riyadh to Shannon, Ireland, for a refueling stop on Saturday, Kerry decided to turn his plane around and was traveling to Paris for a meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov scheduled for Sunday evening. Kerry spoke to Lavrov on the flight after President Barack Obama and Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed in a call on Friday to have their foreign ministers meet to discuss a possible diplomatic resolution to the Ukraine situation.

Russia has "absolutely no intention" of ordering its armed forces to cross over the Ukrainian border, Russia´s foreign minister says, signalling Moscow wants to ease tensions in the worst East-West standoff since the Cold war. Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov reinforced a message from President Vladimir Putin that Russia will settle - at least for now - for annexing Crimea, although it has thousands of troops near Ukraine´s eastern border. "We have absolutely no intention of - or interest in - crossing Ukraine´s borders," Mr Lavrov told a Russian television channel. He added, however, that Russia was ready to protect the rights of Russian speakers,

The defence for accused Boston marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev say the FBI approached his brother and fellow suspect Tamerlan about becoming an informant on the Chechen and Muslim community. The United States is to seek a rare federal death penalty for Dzhokhar after three people were killed and about 260 wounded on April 15 last year when two bombs made of explosives-packed pressure cookers went off near the finish line of the Boston marathon. Dzhokhar, then 19, and his 26-year-old brother Tamerlan were cornered by police after a four-day manhunt. Tamerlan died after an exchange of fire with police and

Our Noel Sheppard passed away yesterday (Friday) morning at about 5:00 AM. Say a prayer for the soul of a man we´ll all miss professionally, and many, many of us will miss personally as well. Noel was not just a force of nature, he was a very good man. How quickly this all happened. Just two months ago, Noel wrote about suddenly getting cancer at 53 called "Cancer´s Ray of Hope." Nine days ago, he wrote us and said he was interested in writing about his "progress" -- and he put "progress" in quotes. We were all wishing for better news, and really couldn't imagine this was a battle that would end this way.

Lydia DePillis´ story last week about the imminent demise of low-cal liquor made me realize that I don´t spend a lot of time thinking about the calorie content of booze. This isn´t an accident - beer, wine and liquor manufacturers are held to very different labeling standards than other food and beverage makers, and those standards don´t require the familiar ´nutrition facts´ you see everywhere else. The history behind this is complicated and a little insane - after Prohibition, beer makers were actually forbidden from putting alcohol content information on their labels. They finally sued for the right to do so in 1987.

It is also the biggest customer of the Russian gas monopoly Gazprom, worth about 10 billion euros a year, and it might join with Gazprom to build a new pipeline under the Black Sea. It has a deal with Russia’s biggest oil company,Rosneft, to explore in the Barents Sea. It also has rights to look for shale gas in Ukraine and plans to propose reworking some old neglected oil

This comes despite falling methane emission levels across the economy since 1990. The White House has proposed cutting methane emissions from the dairy industry by 25 percent by 2020. Although U.S. agriculture only accounts for about 9 percent of the country’s greenhouse gas emissions, according to the Environmental Protection Agency, it makes up a sizeable portion of methane emissions — which is a very potent greenhouse gas.
