| In its latest annual report for fiscal year 2011 to 2012, Planned Parenthood reveals that it performed 333,964 abortions in 2011 – a record year for the organization. According to annual reports, the organization performed 332,278 abortions in 2009, 329,445 in 2010, making the total number of abortions in three years to 995,687. Planned Parenthood reported receiving a record $542 million in taxpayer funding, according to a Susan B. Anthony List analysis of the report, in the form of government grants, contracts, and Medicaid reimbursements. The amount is 45 percent of Planned Parenthood’s annual

Comments: Just shy of a million babies killed over the past 3 years, "government" funding at all-time highs... like a broken record; where exactly are the Republicans? Just amazing.

Wow...we have an epidemic of rape and incest going on in this country...and you´d think by 2013 doctors would be able to save the lives of more pregnant women along with the child.
Those are the reasons we MUST protect abortion "rights"...aren´t they?
No one would have abortions for selfish reasons would they? I mean, if they REALLY didn´t want children they would have irresponsible sex...or...they would avail themselves of one of the myriad methods of preventing conception from taking place.
Wouldn´t they

334,000 abortions. That is a lot of "legal but rare procedures." (to quote Bill Clinton) I really didn´t think there was that much rape and incest. After all, isn´t that why the PP supporters say we must allow abortions? /s Disgusting, depressing, sad.

Abortion is one of the worst things a woman can do to her body and mind. Women´s rights will come in when they realize the horrendous damage they are doing when this "simple" procedure is performed.

When I was young, my gyn switched over, without telling me, to be an abortion doctor. While I was in his office, the first and last time after switching, he explained to me that his clients (he operated in the wealthy part of back bay boston)were usually well-of young women who could not be bothered taking contraceptives and were repeat clients. And I have spoken to two women in their 60´s who had abortions after failed love affairs. Those two women say they knew they were killing a person. I don´t know why it is so important to liberals, men and women, to kill babies.

" if we can accept that a mother can kill her own child, how can we tell other people not to kill one another?" "Any country that accepts abortion is not teaching its people to love, but to use violence to get what they want. That is why the greatest destroyer of love and peace is abortion" "Abortion kills twice. It kills the body of the baby and it kills the conscience of the mother. Abortion is profoundly anti-women. Three quarters of its victims are women: Half the babies and all the mothers." ~ Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta ~ personally I just fear the punishment ...

Maybe women are beginning to see that the present state of affairs in this country is not one into which they want to bring children. That doesn´t make abortion right -- the women should be using birth control and so should the men, but any way you look at this, it´s a holocaust.

The silence of “Christians” and “conservatives” is as deafening as the voices of the millions of innocent aborted babies. Without true repentance this nation will not escape judgment for allowing such atrocities to occur: over 3,500 abortions each day in the U.S. ...maybe we’re being judged already.

The department of health actually did a survey of pregnancies and disposition by age and ethnicity in the greater NY City. I suspect it was intended to document that high prenatal mortality was the decision of the mother and not poor medical care. The Hispanic community led in pregnancy rate and the percentage of babies brought to term. The non-Hispanic black community had the second highest pregnancy rate and by far the highest percentage termination rate (around 40%). This rate did not begin to go down until you got to women over 26. Margaret Sanger must be dancing in her grave.

PP is evil. Once a person, a culture, a government gives itself the power to murder any innocent life, Evil has won. The Lord promises forgiveness of sin to anyone who will repent and accept Him in Jesus´ name. Please, anyone who had created an aborted baby, seek forgiveness for the sin of murder.

I hope Martha McCallum of FOX reads this article. During a report last year Ms. McCallum emphasized not once, but twice, that Planned Parenthood doesn´t perform abortions, it only counsels/refers abortion seekers to private providers. She was aided and abetted in this erroneous declaration by Judge Napolitano, who sat idly by and didn´t bother to correct her. Fair and balanced, you bet.

Let´s think about how many people are involved in one abortion: - the mother; - the dead baby; - the father of the dead baby; - the parents who paid for the murder; - the "friend" who drove the mother to kill her baby; - the grandparents of the dead baby; - the doctor who killed the baby; - the nurses and other attending who participated in the killing; - the administrative staff who scheduled the killing and follow up appointments; - the waste company who collected the remains of the baby...
and multiply that by millions. So, we are left with countless people who live their lives day after day defending this position and supporting their "right" to kill. To admit their sin would be too devastating so they dig their heels in and we´re left with the results: degradation of women, the family and culture. God have mercy on us.

Judgement is here. Just remind all of those carelessly active lib women that they are most likely murdering there own DAUGHTERS. Then point out someone you know who is elderly, with no family to comfort or help them, in old age. Point out how lack of children & grandchildren is inconvenient when you can´t live on your own anymore. Explain that you can have inconvenience now or later - you are just choosing the timing. Then explain all of the ways that abortion has actually liberated MEN.

Americans have callously sat by and allowed the murder of 55 million human beings. By not effectively counter acting this atrocity we have all SINNED in the eyes of the Creator of the Universe. God has withdrawn His hand from this country and given us leadership that is bound and determined to run this country into the ground. Are we actually dumb enough to believe there is no connection? Prayers to restore this country to its former greatness are useless! America needs to repent and ask for forgiveness!

After it has been outlawed forever in all 57 states, we will marvel that this was ever allowed to take place. It will appear in history books alongside Slavery as a national shame to be expiated for-forever.

How can it be "alright" for a woman and doctor to kill a child if it hasn´t been born, but if someone was to shoot the mother in the stomach, killing both, it´s a double murder? I feel like I´m in an alternate reality.

I saw something a couple of years ago that this country currently has problems financing SS and other programs due to the fact that at least 30 million taxpayers were not available because they had been aborted. Think about that fact for a while. Libs traded financial security for our government in order to kill unborn babies.

I pray for an end to abortion every time I pray. I support and vote for only pro-life politicians. I send money to organizations like National Right to Life and the Catholic Church ( the biggest pro-life organization on the planet ). I march as often as possible in the March for Life in DC. I have taken part in prayer vigils near abortion clinics and on street corners. I have adopted a child who could have wound up as ´medical waste´ if her birth mother had made a different ´choice´.

#34 is exactly RIGHT. God will indeed sort this out, and He is NOT HAPPY. Proverbs 6:16-10 says, "There are six things the Lord hates—no, seven things he detests: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that kill the innocent, a heart that plots evil, feet that race to do wrong, a false witness who pours out lies, a person who sows discord in a family." (emphasis mine)
Folks, we can forget about Hitler. He was a piker...we´re now in Stalin/ChiCom territory. The people of this country allowed this to take place, and the people of this country re-elected a man whose party booed the re-introduction of God and Israel to their party platform (either by active vote or by staying home and not voting for the other person). God is NOT happy.
And I´ll go a step further - the church (at large) has blood on its hands as well. Yes, pastors and priests may say they´re against such, but in EVERY survey year after year, the church looks just like the world in EVERY category. Yes, there are people like #60 and those of us who have actively fought for morality and decency, and who have volunteered at and given money to crisis pregnancy centers, and who have worked in every manner possible to stand against this evil and persuade others to do the same. But we are few and far between, even in the church. God is NOT happy.

I hope quincy2 didn´t choose his pseudonym to commemorate Jack Klugman´s character on the "Quincy, ME" TV show. I´ve been watching the NetFlix collection of those shows from the 70s and 80s, and I´ve seen two episodes in which abortions were plot elements. Quincy had no interest in the aborted babies, but he was concerned about the dead "mothers" whose bodies reached his autopsy table.
One "mother" died because the abortionist was drinking before performing the abortion. Quincy knew and respected the abortionist "doctor", so he persuaded the fellow to join an Alcoholics Anonymous group of drinking doctors.
The other "mother" died after the abortionist dropped her off at an ER. The primary ER doctor was suspected of having mishandled her treatment, but she´d actually been treated by another doctor who wasn´t certified to work in an ER. Quincy spent a lot of the show agitating for better trained and certified ER doctors.

I do not agree with abortions at will; however, lately I´ve been thinking. If they all had those babies, there would be massive spikes in the numbers of welfare babies and more $$ going out to baby mamas.
It´s sickening no matter how you look at it.
What is worse? Abortion or rape of the country? And of all those babies that would be born, what would they be born into? A life of drugs, stealing, and jail? What quality of life is that for them?

Yet here we are, going about our business, ignoring the murder of hundreds of thousands of babies in our own country. A terrible milestone - 40 years - will be reached this month. Thousands will travel to Washington to march and,as always, the media won´t report it.

I post a lot of pro-life articles on FB & twitter, too, sign petitions, support www.youhavealternatives.org... And pray. At the very least I know for a fact they´re all alive and in heaven as we speak. Every single one of them, praise God.

I recently learned two young women I know had abortions. They are both emotionally devastated.
Mother Teresa is right, #22, it kills the baby and destroys the conscious of the mother. My prayers are with them. They have been indoctrinated to believe there is nothing wrong with abortion. After they´ve had it, they realize differently.
I look at my children and am grateful I never had to make that choice. As a young woman, I am sorry to say, I probably would have made the wrong choice.

Trenton — Police officials are examining the response to a 911 call Sunday night that left a city man struggling with an intruder at his building without any officers arriving. Dan Dodson said it was 20 or 30 minutes before two officers eventually arrived in response to his wife’s calls to police telephone numbers. “We’re looking into it to determine if the proper protocols were followed,” Lt. Steve Varn said yesterday evening. Yesterday, Dodson said he was deciding where to buy a baseball bat in case someone else was able to slip into his home. He believes one of the two

The Internal Revenue Service relies on technology more than ever to sniff out tax cheats using robo-audits and data mining—but so far it has caught lot of minnows, and big fish are still eluding detection. Even as millions of people´s accounts are screened online and matched against their digital files elsewhere, the IRS´s data-detection tools come nowhere close to collecting the $400 billion in tax dodges estimated to take place each year. After superstorm Sandy struck, mountains of rubble were collected and taken to temporary storage sites. In Ocean County, those locations included a parking lot in Ortley Beach, a ball field in Bay Head, a recycling center in Berkeley. From there, trucks hauled it all to the county landfill in Manchester. The distances of those trips varied. But on bills submitted by the debris removal firm, they had something in common: They were all recorded as being just over or, in some cases, exactly 16 miles. Coincidence? Doubtful. Under the state’s contract with the cleanup firm, AshBritt Inc., 16 miles is

Hundreds of armed police have been placed around Paris´ major tourist monuments because of an influx of criminal gangs from eastern Europe. It follows a huge increase in the number of aggressive beggars and pickpockets flooding into the French capital from Romania and Bulgaria – countries whose citizens will soon have unrestricted access to the UK. (Snip) Gangs of Roma thieves – many of them young children – can now be seen all over Paris, the most popular tourist city in the world. ´Do you speak English?´ is their usual opening gambit, and then they surround victims, helping themselves to

They´ve fallen through the cracks: millions of jobless or underemployed New Yorkers whose daily struggle is to find work and food. They certainly don´t show up in the 9.1 percent unemployment rate for the city, since they have exhausted those benefits. But the number of city residents on food stamps is on pace to jump this year from just above 1 million in 2007 to a breathtaking 2 million sometime this summer. That’s equals almost 50 percent of the city´s labor force today, which, according to the latest government calculations, shrank by nearly 200,000 people since 2011. There´s also 176,000

New York — Federal mortgage payment relief has been extended up to one year for more than 200,000 homeowners whose houses were damaged by Superstorm Sandy. U.S. Housing and Urban Development Secretary Shaun Donovan announced the extension for homeowners with Federal Housing Administration-insured loans on Friday. A previous mortgage payment extension for federally-backed home loans was set to expire on April 30. About 286,000 homeowners with FHA-insured loans were affected by the late October storm, with nearly 96,000 in New York. Donovan said the 12-month extension was meant to help homeowners still struggling to rebuild avoid foreclosure.

Nashville, Tenn. - A proposal that would dock the welfare payments of parents whose children fail school is dead. After about a 40-minute debate on the Senate floor Thursday, Republican Senator Sponsor Stacey Campfield decided to pull the bill so it can be studied over the summer. Both Republicans and Democrats expressed concern about the legislation, which sought to cut Temporary Assistance for Needy Families benefits by 30 percent if a child fails to advance to the next grade. The money could be earned back if a parent attends two conferences with teachers, takes parenting classes or enrolls the child in

New Jersey districts spent an average of $18,047 per pupil in 2011-12, up 4 percent from the year before, the state said Wednesday. That figure comes from the third annual “Taxpayer’s Guide to Education Spending,” which uses a method devised by the Christie administration to give residents a full picture of the price tag for schools from pre-kindergarten through Grade 12. (Snip) Among regular Bergen districts, total per-pupil spending ranged from a high of $25,938 in the small, wealthy and high-achieving district of Alpine to $13,317 in the immigrant, blue-collar community of Fairview. Chiesa said State Police thwarted the alleged murder-for-hire plot of Georgios Spyropoulos, 45, of Clifton, who “planned in great detail” to have Alexandros Sgourdos tortured, robbed and murdered for $20,000. A federal injunction seeks to shut down Memphis-based Mo’ Money Taxes. The government contends tax losses from fraudulent tax returns prepared by the firm in 2011 cost the IRS more than $9 million. The U.S. Justice Department has long had an eye on Mo’ Money and the tax preparation business. The focus intensified last year after hundreds of Mo’ Money clients in several states alleged bounced checks, excessive fees and the failure of the business to pass along IRS refunds. Augusta, Ga. — The usual crowd at the putting green at Augusta National had turned to face the wrong direction, toward the outdoor dining area adjacent to the old clubhouse. Usually, this is a sign that golf royalty is nearby. And, sure enough, there he was: Arnold Palmer, the four-time Masters winner, wearing in his green jacket and looking over a menu that he has probably seen a thousand times. He already has his beverage. He is drinking an Arnold Palmer. We will have a full week to debate questions pertaining to this tournament. Will Tiger Woods finally break his major

When it first became clear that the CIA’s Benghazi talking points had been altered, many of us viewed the White House as the prime suspect. After all, it served President Obama’s political purposes to claim, at the height of a political campaign in which he was taking credit for the fall of al Qaeda, that the death of a U.S. ambassador was down to spontaneous outrage over a video, rather than pre-planned terrorism. It turns out, however, that the State Department was the prime culprit. It was State that pushed back hard against the original talking points.

Republican lawmakers, who have spent months seeking to tie President Obama to last year’s deadly attack on the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, are increasingly focusing their probe on a new target: former secretary of state Hillary Rodham Clinton. The GOP-led investigation of the Sept. 11, 2012, assaults that killed U.S. Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens and three others now centers heavily on the State Department and whether officials there deliberately misled the public about the nature of the assault. Three State Department officials are scheduled to testify before a House committee on Wednesday about the Benghazi attack and its aftermath.

Once in a long while, an event evokes one of my favorite historical images: the British Army band, at Lord Cornwallis’ surrender at Yorktown which sealed the Americans’ revolutionary victory, playing “The World Turned Upside Down.” In this case, the event is the dramatic change over the past two weeks

The Seattle Police Department collected more than 700 guns during a buyback in January, and now city officials have a plan for what to do with them. Mayor Mike McGinn is expected to announce Tuesday that they´ll be melted into bricks carrying messages of peace, and the bricks will be placed around the city. The buyback program was announced a month after last December´s elementary school massacre in Newtown, Conn., by city leaders sick of hearing about gun violence. Former Gov. Mark Sanford completed the trail to political redemption Tuesday with a win over Democrat Elizabeth Colbert Busch to reclaim his old seat in Congress. Sanford defeated Colbert Busch 54 percent to 45 percent, according to full unofficial results. Turnout was heavier than expected, with about 32 percent of the district’s 455,702 registered voters casting ballots. Sanford, who has never lost an election, returns to the 1st District seat he held for three terms from 1995-2001. It’s a remarkable comeback for a man many pundits had written off after his highly publicized affair with an Argentine

CUMMINGS: And, as I listen to your testimony I could not help but think of something that I said very recently -- two years ago now -- in a eulogy for a relative. I said that death is a part of life, so often we have to find a way to make life a part of death. And, I guess the reason why I´m saying that, going back to something Mr. Nordstrom said, he wanted,

There was tragic incompetence, plainly, in the Obama administration’s handling of the Benghazi attacks, and even possibly some political calculation. It is a record that may well come to haunt Hillary Clinton, the first Secretary of State to lose an ambassador in the field in more than three decades, if she runs for president in 2016. But the obvious Republican effort to turn this inquiry into the Democratic (Obama) version of the Iraq intelligence scandal that has tarred the GOP since the George W. Bush years -- led by that least-credible of champions, the almost-always-wrong Darrell Issa --

Ahead of the Benghazi hearings in which three witnesses are set to testify before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, Fox & Friends co-host Brian Kilmeade invited Fox News analyst Lt. Col. Ralph Peters to discuss the issue. Peters was unflinching in his criticism of the “cowardly” Obama administration — and the “establishment media” that aids it. “Is this a national security coverup?” Kilmeade asking, explaining that the witness testimony is expected to say the administration was deceitful in its handling of the situation. “The administration, facing the election, went into panic mode, wanted to contain it,”

British physicist Stephen Hawking has dropped plans to attend a major international conference in Israel in June, citing his belief that he should respect a Palestinian call to boycott contacts with Israeli academics. The University of Cambridge released a statement Wednesday indicating that Hawking had told the Israelis last week that he would not be attending "based on advice from Palestinian academics that he should respect the boycott." University officials said they had "previously understood" that Hawking´s decision was based solely on health concerns — he is 71 and has severe disabilities — but had now been told otherwise by Hawking´s office.
