Is President Obama lazy?
Washington Times, by Eric Golub

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 1/7/2013 11:16:12 AM

LOS ANGELES — Conversations must begin honestly. It is perfectly legitimate to analyze leaders with critical lenses. People fight and die for this freedom. Times are serious, and Obama may not be. The question of whether OBama is lazy evokes everything from discomfort to rage. Yet asking and answering questions provokes "national conversations" that President Obama cherishes. Racism exists (thankfully, such views are marginalized) and in the past. Calling blacks "lazy" is one way for racists to spread their message. Denying the connotation denies history. So how can calling Obama lazy not be racist?

Comments:
He´s arrogant, lazy and incompetent. The only thing I would quibble with in the article is that he says 0bama is a "Hawaiian Christian" and not a Kenyan Muslim subversive. There is too much evidence to the contrary.

One has to wonder why the term "lazy" is considered racist.

Is Obama lazy? Well, Duhhhhh! He´s also un-American, has a Communist agenda, doesn´t know much about economics except how to spend us into oblivion, wants to take our guns away, has control over our lives, and the topper is that he is most probably a Muslim.

Is ´Hawaian Christian´ a fancy word for Muslim? Oh, yeah, nothing is right in America anymore.

As the symbolic first black president Obama had to succeed. If he failed or was only mediocre the public might begin to question the media´s decades of promoting the benefits of diversity.

So the media had to pretend Obama was successful even though he wasn´t. They did this by blaming other people or other factors for his lack of accomplishments. Also, he had to be re-elected or it would make America look intolerant. But now that he has been re-elected, and can´t run again, the media might begin to be a little more honest in its Obama coverage.

Lazy in terms of work ethic and intellect? His past performance (or lack thereof) speak louder than words.

He has coasted all of his academic and political career. Period. Most do not challenge his mystique because of his bona fides, his skin color and his charisma.

Sooner or later, his artifice will crumble. It´s fragile enough as it is and it will not be pretty.

Apples and oranges. It isn´t his color that makes him lazy it is his sense of entitlement with the power provided to him. Much of it unchallenged. He uses "executive order" for others to do the job he was elected to do.

Shall I go on? He´s one of the worst human beings ever to hold high office in the history of the world. And, no, I´m not exaggerating.

Hard to distinguish between lazy and stupid.

Like, ask if some guy is strong or weak. What if he can´t manage to pick up a candy wrapper. You *think* he has the strength, but he can´t get it done. So, well, there it is.

We will have to put up with it and I think it will go on for much longer that four years. His czars want him to be a dictator and they, I think, will accomplish that. Lazy?? Look at it this way. Obie´s transformation of the USA would not be happening with the lightening speed if he was lazy. I´m sure his inner circle is working 24/7 to complete the transformation before anyone wakes up. But, at the end of the day, Obie is making the key decisions on this.

Many people some of us might call lazy are actually quite industrious:

1. The EBT crowd have to apply and go through all the work to get "free" money.

2. Criminals have to go to a lot of work and take risks to gain access to other people´s stuff.

3. Vote cheaters have to go to various polling places - usually all on one day.

4. zero had to run all over the country speechifying and lying like a rug to maintain his 1 billion $ a year little personal kingdom including the multi-million dollar vacations.

Oh the humanity!!!

I don´t know if he is lazy about things like doing housework, picking up after himself, etc. But indications are Obama is intellectually lazy, which I think is quite common among super-brains as well as dullards. Leftism is intellectually lazy. Leftists never challenge their own assumptions. Leftists rely on cliches, stereotypes and caricatures. The footage of Obama as a law instructor at the blackboard is shockingly sophomoric. His laziness means he hasn´t learned anything, he´s carrying on with the same old Community Rabble Rouser shtick.

Pretty successful for a lazy guy. Lazy is the opposition who can´t pin the tail on this donkey. He does everything but drive the truck across the border with the guns in it and his ´enemies´ can´t put him anywhere near it. In fact they can´t hold anyone responsible for a direct order from DC to AZ to sell deadly weapons to obvious drug cartel criminals. How does a ´lazy´ man pull that off? Scooter Libby went to jail over NOTHING and these guys explain on camera how they are not going to enforce voter intimidation laws because you are white and they are black. Yet nothing happens. Lazy? No.

If you´re a puppet -- a useful idiot tool -- for a Prgressice organization bent on bringing down America´s economy, being lazy is a must.

BJ Clinton had too much get up & go to be used like this poser. And he was far more intelligent. These handlers do all the dirty work for him, while he plays golf or swims in the Hawaiian surf.

Yes, he is lazy. It´s a job requirement for this group. Soros probably hand-picked him for that alone.

"Mainstream critics do not see Obama as evil, but then being evil would require effort."

that is a knock out funny line.

Was it Doug Brinkley or Michael Beschloss (both of whom should know better) that said that Obama has the highest IQ of any president in history. How on earth would he know that and on what is it based? I am not saying Obama is dumb but I haven´t ever heard him say anything I regarded as particularly intelligent. Does anyone seriously believed Obama has a higher IQ than say, Thomas Jefferson?

From the Philadelphia Inquirer: One teacher calls it the "new normal" for southwest Philadelphia´s Bartram High School: a massive brawl in the cafeteria, where students punched and stomped each other, and even attacked school police; firecrackers set off in the building; and the student who fractured the skull of a "conflict resolution specialist" is once again roaming the halls, just two weeks after the attack. Insiders told the newspaper, the larger problem at the 1,100-student school "is the continued culture of chaos and disregard for authority." According to the newspaper, four additional Philadelphia and school police officers will be at the school

Earlier this week on Boston’s WRKO-AM’s The Howie Carr Show, conservative commentator Ann Coulter shocked some conservatives when she said she is making 2012 Republican nominee Mitt Romney her favorite for the 2016 Republican contest. Last month in an interview on CBS’s Face the Nation, Romney himself ruled out the possibility of a 2016 run and said he was instead focused on who to get behind in that contest. Coulter, however, wishes otherwise. “Well, don´t tell him but I´m planning on giving Mitt Romney a little more time to rest -- flying out, kidnapping him and depriving him of sleep, food and

The number of major federal regulations issued in the first five years of the Obama administration was 153.2% higher than during the first five years of the Bush administration, according to data from the Heritage Foundation. “In the first five years of President Obama’s Administration, 157 major federal regulations were issued. By comparison, only 62 major federal regulations were issued during the first five years of the George W. Bush Administration,” according to Heritage’s report, Red Tape Rising: Five Years of Regulatory Expansion. A major federal regulation is defined as “any rule that the Administrator of the Office of Information

How do you get from 5 million Obamacare enrollees to 7.1 million Obamacare enrollees in two weeks? You start the applications yourself. Health and Human Services was mailing out letters notifying certain Americans that they had already started a healthcare coverage application on their behalf. HHS had started the applications for them. The Shark Tank reported: News of the HHS letter was first mentioned by a listener of the popular “Daybreak with Drew Steele” Show on Fox 92.5, which is out of Fort Myers, Florida. After his radio show concluded, another listener emailed Steele telling him about receiving the same

Finally, someone has come up with a way to settle the debate over climate change: Put the people on the wrong side of the argument in cages. A writer for the website Gawker recently penned a self-described “rant” on the pressing need to arrest, charge, and imprison people who “deny” global warming. In fairness, Adam Weinstein doesn’t want mass arrests. (Besides, in a country where only 44 percent of Americans say there is “solid evidence” of global warming and it’s mostly due to human activity, you can’t round up every dissenter.) Fact-checking scientists are spared. So is “the man on the

More than a dozen Republican lawmakers are pushing the Environmental Protection Agency to reconsider asserting regulatory authority over streams and wetlands amid intense backlash from farm groups over the agency´s proposed water rule. In a letter Thursday, the GOP senators faulted the EPA for announcing a proposed rule last week before the government´s peer-reviewed scientific assessment was fully complete. They are calling on the government to withdraw the rule or give the public six months to review it, rather than the three months being provided. The senators´ move puts them among several groups -- from farmers and land developers to

U.S. employers added jobs at a solid pace in March in the latest sign that the economy is rebounding from a weak stretch brought on by a harsh winter. The Labor Department says employers added 192,000 jobs, slightly below February´s total of 197,000. Employers also added a combined 37,000 more jobs in February and January than previously estimated. The unemployment rate was unchanged at 6.7 percent. But a half-million Americans started looking for work last month, and most of them found jobs. The increase in job-seekers is a sign that they are more optimistic about their prospects. March´s job gain

In his opening statement during highly anticipated testimony Wednesday on Benghazi, former CIA deputy director Michael Morell claimed to be an intelligence professional who was willing to lay out the facts -- no matter how damaging. "I take very seriously the allegations about how the CIA in general and about how I in particular handled the analysis and the talking points," Morell told the House Intelligence Committee, in his first public testimony on the Benghazi attacks. "The ethical code under which intelligence officers carry out their responsibilities calls for total objectivity." But Morell´s own testimony would appear to undercut that

Immigration reform advocates are fond of citing broad support for their cause. But in fact the coalition behind the Senate Gang of Eight comprehensive reform bill is fragile and loosely cobbled together. How could Big Labor and the Chamber of Commerce and the tech world and Big Agriculture all unite behind one bill? Very tentatively. It wouldn´t take much to break the coalition apart. And if that happens, the effort to enact comprehensive immigration reform could blow up, not just for the moment, but for some time to come. And there are signs that is exactly what is occurring now. Bush, spoke at an event marking the 25th anniversary of his father´s presidency at the library and museum that bears the patriarch´s name. Kathryn Riffenburg decided on a closed casket for her baby´s funeral. She didn´t want her family to see what whooping cough, her son´s first illness, had done to 9-week-old Brady Alcaide. The nearly forgotten disease, which has in recent years afflicted thousands of Americans, left Brady´s tiny body swollen and unrecognizable. So his mother dressed him in a white baptismal suit and hat and tucked him into a tiny white casket. Brady´s burial came just four weeks after his first laugh — inspired by her version of I´m a Little Teapot — and two weeks after his family learned that he had

In Dearborn, Mich., home to over 40,000 Americans of Arab descent, some Muslim parents have complained about flyers handed out at public schools advertising an Easter egg hunt at a local Presbyterian church. The Muslim parents assert that the flyers – emblazoned with the word “Eggstravaganza!” – violate the separation of church and state widely ascribed to the First Amendment’s Establishment Clause, reports the Detroit Free Press. Students at three Dearborn elementary schools received the flyers. A large number of Muslim students attend the schools. The “Eggstravaganza!” is scheduled to take place on April 12 event at Cherry Hill Presbyterian Church

When friends and family members gathered recently at the White House for a private celebration of Michelle Obama’s 50th birthday, one of the invited partygoers was a former paid FBI Mafia informant. That same man attended February’s state dinner in honor of French President Francois Hollande. He was seated with his girlfriend at a table adjacent to President Barack Obama, who is likely unaware that, according to federal agents, his guest once interacted with members of four of New York City’s five organized crime families. He even secretly taped some of those wiseguys using a briefcase that FBI technicians outfitted

LONDON - Peaches Geldof, the wild-child second daughter of concert organizer Bob Geldof who worked as a model, a television presenter and a fashion writer and filled the pages of British tabloids with her late-night antics, has died at age 25. There was no immediate word on the cause of her death at her home in Wrotham, Kent, southeast England. Her father said in a statement Monday: "Peaches has died. We are beyond pain." "She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us," he said. "Writing 'was' destroys me afresh. What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable? We loved her and will cherish her forever."

Democrats are facing a senior problem that could get even worse this year. The party has traditionally had trouble with older voters, losing the group aged 65 and over by 21 points in 2010 — when Republicans picked up 63 seats — and by 12 points in the 2012 presidential race. Seniors are the GOP’s most reliable voting bloc in midterm years, turning out in higher numbers than Democratic base voters. A recent Gallup poll showed seniors have become even more Republican over the last two decades; in 2013, 48 percent considered themselves Republican. That spells trouble for Democrats, who are already facing
