| Sometimes, watching a Democrat learn something is wonderful, like seeing the family dog finally sit and stay at your command. With President Obama back in office and his life-saving “fiscal cliff” bill jammed through Congress, the new year has brought a surprising turn of events for his sycophantic supporters. “What happened that my Social Security withholding’s in my paycheck just went up?” a poster wrote on the liberal site DemocraticUnderground.com. “My paycheck just went down by an amount that I don’t feel comfortable with. I guarantee this decrease is gonna’ hurt me more than the increase

What is so funny is the Kneepad Media sycophants wanted to end this tax holiday during the last debt limit negotiations. Now that it has happened, not a word from them about how we need everyone to pay for Socialist Security. I fully expect my taxes, my grocery bill, my gas and fuel bills and all other bills to go up. I fully expect the cost of Obambi and the Dems on everything in my life to go up. The only thing that is mildly interesting is the DA Dems that didn´t realize that their world was about to get a lot more expensive.

All the Demon-RATS and NØbama have to say is that it´s the mean old Republicans´ fault, because they wouldn´t raise taxes even more on those evil rich people.
The MSM will fully support what they say.
And, of course, ultimately it just has to be Bush´s fault -- it just HAS to be!!!
And NØbama will smile at them, and show them Moo-chelle´s pretty new spring dress that she might wear to church if they ever go back (not that there is any reason to do that stupid thing again unless Moo-chelle is preparing to run herself), or that she will wear on her next government funded vacation, and all their braindead voters will quicly forget their misery.
We don´t have to wait for the zombie appocolypse, it´s already here. They voted to re-elect NØbama and destroy our nation. Now they just have to start eating brains and the transformation will be complete...

Imagine what would have happened had we gone over the "cliff". That is why some of us reluctantly supported that "least bad" option. Not to worry, however. NerØbama´s supporters are already whining that the just agreed "revenue increases" are not enough, and they want more - just as predicted.
Stay tuned ..

The crazy thing is this is just the tiny bit (2%) that they temporarily stopped taking for Social Security. Depending on income, it is about $20 - $45 for the average person per paycheck. If they think is amount is unacceptable, what will they think about all the other taxes and costs that are coming down the road that are much higher!?!?!?!

When they voted for Obama, they Hoped the negative Change he´d inflict upon the nation would somehow only hurt Republicans. Or that the new normal of lower living standards, a crumbling economy, and curtailed freedoms would somehow be "eco-friendly" - in a warm, fuzzy way - for themselves. However, Democrats are not just naive - they are really, really stupid.

I wonder how these people got paid on the new year this quick.I also heard that payroll processors aren´t ready to impose the new rates yet.I´m kind of suspicious of this story even though it´s the WT.
I´ve been wondering why the glory hound Obama didn´t have a signing ceremony on this.Maybe he wants people to think it just happened and he had nothing to do with it.
The only real way to beat Obama is have the left turn on him.Hopefully this is just the beginning.

Speaking of the South Side, do you think The Won will ever reside there again? I´m sure he was holding his nose the whole time he had to "live" there.
The Obama supporters who pay $0 in taxes (let´s see, is that about 48% of "taxpayers" who file?) won´t even know the difference. The only way they´ll feel The Won´s economic maelstrom is if their benefits are cut. I think the playing field should be leveled, too: if our taxes go up and we net less, so should those living on entitlements.

They aren´t, weren´t, won´t be low information voters, they´re lazy, shiftless, greedy RAT voters who want money for everything and for having to do absolutely nothing. And they elected the biggest liar this world has ever seen because he´s their leader in chief. Low Information is the result. Causes are many. Low Intelligence, Mediocre education, Poor life style choices, Cultural background and as some have pointed out Plain stupidity. We live in a knowledge based society which requires individuals to acquire a minimum ability to seek, extract and assimilate useful information. Lack of this ability by whatever reason leads to voting Democrat. There is nothing wrong with that argument.

I don’t agree that Obama voters are shocked - they won´t really blame President Obama or the Democrats for their dwindling paychecks or lifestyles. Most of them think as a relative does (who said yesterday), "Well, paychecks are going to have less money in them because those Republicans just wouldn’t work with President Obama – he was trying to save us. Republicans only want to save the rich and now the middleman (?!) is going to have to pay. President Bush started all of this and now Republicans are trying to blame President Obama. I really admire him. Everything was such a mess when he took over but he’s been working really hard to try to fix things." She will never, ever change her mind and, in my opinion, the other Obama voters won’t either.

Yesterday, I heard one say - "It´s because of the whole Fiscal Cliff thing."
Another replied - "Yes, but it will only last two weeks before our checks go back to normal."

Keep whinging, Livs. You brought it upon yourselves. Music to an American´s ears.

So, they Dims will use any form necessary to sooth their low information voters. As stated before, you can´t fix stupid.
And #41, as if Jan.1,1985, all federal employees hired on and after that day DO pay social security taxes. This was a re-do of the retirement system. #42 & #60. The "Bless your heart" is exactly what I thought when I heard the Low Information Voter phrase (LIV, good one). It just softens the blow at bit and the recipient is too stupid to know they have been zinged.
The dems are famous for their sound bites. It is time to revive a sound bite from the Clinton era: Tax and Spend Democrats. Any Republican appearing on TV should slip the phrase in even if the discussion is gun control. Use it over, and over, and over again.
I still have my Romney/Ryan bumper sticker on my car. Someone needs to make one to go on the left side of it that says: "Aren´t you sorry you didn´t vote for -".

It´s like all the white people applauding and cheering when Tarantino´s black movie star bragged that the best part about his film role was that he got to kill all the white people. They think the guy was kidding? Same with these Øbama idiots suddenly shocked that their God-man is now shafting them- They just didn´t take seriously what the creep was telling them, straight up, simple. Just like Hitler clearly telling the Germans what he planned to do to them before they voted for him to be Chancellor. "Well, he is probably exaggerating!" they excused. Tyrants must think voters are the absolute dumbest creatures on the planet.

I think the first sentence of this article is wishful thinking. I wish all the idiots who voted for him would feel an acute sense of regret at their stupidity, but I wonder if they will ever get that insight. This man is destroying our country, and so many people genuinely don´t seem to realize it or care. I can´t stand it.

Can´t wait for them to file their taxes on their $10,000 yearly income and expect to get the $4600 EIC check. I heard on the local news the other day that the Gov´t is warning tax refunds, espically EIC filers, may be delayed this year. Let the pain begin.

Not one posted remedy has been suggested. Most tax payers have gotten conned into thinking a tax refund is a gift or failed to note their money was used interest free all year then doled back when forced to do so. While working we framed withholding as minimum as possible and kept the amount we had to pay when filing at 499 dollars -- just under the limit allowed. That amount divided by 12 was banked for interest which we kept instead. Now retired we chose to have no taxes withheld on retirement funds. We still pay our taxes in full when filing. Yes Earned income is an unearned gift that I don´t begrudge the real families in poverty because at least the government isn´t giving that amount to our enemies like hamas and other foreign grabbers.

Oh come on, I thought Liberals were silly, but I see some silliness here. Every time a Liberal Democrat tries to blame the Republicans all we have to do is quote the one paragraph from this article.
"In 2009, Mr. Obama enacted a “holiday” on the payroll tax deduction from employees’ paychecks, dropping the rate from 6.2 percent to 4.2 percent. But like the holidays, the drop ended December 31st, and like New Year‘s, the revelers woke up the next morning with a massive hangover and a pounding head."
I added the date just to clarify it for the Low IQ´d Democrats.
Remind them had the Republicans won the Senate many of the Tax increases would have been stopped, especially those still to come in Obamacare (that Liberals don´t know about yet). They were blinded (and gullible) to believe that it was only to "Tax the Rich". Will they now admit they were gullible? Of course not. Only Intelligent people recognize when they have been snookered.

The biggest political problem faced by so-called “liberals” and so-called “progressives” in President Obama’s second term is how to prevent voters from holding them politically responsible as the public comes to realize how badly they were lied to during the first Obama term to win passage of Obamacare. (Snip) Just wait until the broad realization dawns that the harsh reality of Obamacare is that tens of millions will lose their employer provided insurance because of the perverse incentives under the program. Gluten-free diets are all the rage, but they can be dangerous if not done right. What is gluten? It´s the spongy complex of proteins, found naturally in wheat, rye, and barley, that gives elasticity to dough and allows it to rise. When flour is moistened and either kneaded or mixed into dough, gluten molecules form an elastic, microscopic latticework that traps the carbon dioxide produced when yeast ferments, causing dough to inflate like a hot air balloon. Baking hardens the gluten, which helps the finished product keep its shape. Wheat — and gluten — is ubiquitous in the American diet.

The deaths took place sometime between Thursday afternoon and evening by someone who had some type of relationship with the victims, the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office said. The bodies were discovered Friday outside Holbrook, a town of about 400 people just north of the Idaho-Utah state line. NEW YORK -- In case Americans want to scarf down their fast-food even faster, KFC is stripping the bones out of its chicken. The fast-food chain says it´s introducing deep-fried boneless chicken pieces on April 14 as an alternative to its traditional breast, thigh and drumstick pieces. The new offering reflects the growing popularity of nuggets and strips that are easier to eat on the go, as well as Americans´ seemingly endless desire for more convenient foods. KFC says nearly four out of five servings of chicken sold in the U.S. are now boneless. Based on customer trends

Climate change is expanding sea ice in Antarctica, a paradoxical finding that appears to be the result of melting glaciers, according to a new study. As freshwater glaciers melt, cold water sinks into the ocean, keeping the sea colder than it would otherwise be. The fresh water is less dense than seawater, so it floats on the top layer of the ocean, which in turn stays cooler. That makes it easier for the seas to freeze again in the Antarctic fall and winter, scientists say. This negative feedback is expected to continue, they added. Sea ice levels

A Rhode Island couple says they were speechless and moved to tears when Pope Francis hugged and kissed their disabled 8-year-old son in St. Peter´s Square on Easter Sunday. Paul and Christina Gondreau of Johnston and their five children attended Easter Mass at the Vatican. An usher directed the boy, Dominic, who has cerebral palsy, and his mother to an area designated for handicapped children, said Paul Gondreau, a theology professor at Providence College who is teaching this semester in Rome. President Obama´s biggest gaffe yesterday when speaking of California Attorney General Kamala Harris was not in flirtatiously complimenting her as "the best-looking attorney general," but in introducing an observation from the system of beauty into a forum that was about the system of power. What´s that, you say? Irin Carmon does a great job in Salon in laying out the bounds of propriety for when it´s appropriate to talk about a woman´s looks as a general matter. But I´ve long felt we lack a solid theoretical underpinning for easily discussing these issues, and why precisely it is that

The Obama White House is scrambling to blame Friday’s abysmal March jobs numbers on the sequester’s trimming of the rate of growth in federal budgets that have yet to fully commence. After the Labor Department announced that a mass exodus of 663,000 workers left the U.S. workforce last month and that job creation fell 112,000 jobs short of projections, Obama’s top economic adviser Alan B. Put out an all-points bulletin: Millions of Americans have gone missing from the workforce. Every month that those would-be workers are gone raises the odds that they might never come back, dimming the prospects for future economic growth. The vanishing trend is more than a decade old, but it accelerated during the Great Recession. Throughout 2012, economists held out hope that it had stopped. But then came Friday’s jobs report, and hopes were dashed. The Labor Department reported that the U.S. labor force — everyone who has a job or is looking for one — shrank
