Michael Jackson´s daughter Paris fends off
greedy relatives and plots movie stardom

New York Post, by STACY BROWN

Original Article

Posted By:FlyRight, 1/6/2013 3:02:32 PM

She’s heir to a $1 billion fortune, keeper of the legacy of pop’s biggest star. She grew up with a father who spent money with abandon, popped pills, wasted away into emaciation — all while living in perpetual childhood. So the most surprising thing about Paris Katherine Jackson, age 14, is how normal she is. That’s all thanks, ironically, to her damaged, brilliant father, Michael Jackson.

Wonder who her bio Dad is? I don´t see any resemblance to MJ in any of those kids. I hope MJ didn´t molest the boys.

America´s best loved child molester was incapable of fathering a daughter. But the degeneration of this country continues.

FTA: "Of the three, it’s Paris — with her mesmerizing blue eyes and prolific Twitter account — who has become the family’s most fascinating figure."

I think you mean ´mesmerizing blue contacts´. Although why someone with naturally blue eyes would want to wear those eerie blue ones is beyond me. Just like another ´Paris´ - Hilton, and although her eyes are naturally brown, it´s equally creepy.

I won´t visit the sins of the father on the daughter. If she has the talent and the desire, I wish her well.

Wouldn´t it be something if this little girl with her sad, sick family background grew up to be strong enough to beat back the greedy uncles who circle her fortune like sharks and whip them all into shape. Miracles happen. Let´t hope something good comes from all that pain.

We´ll see.

In the meantime she believes the country would have gone "down the toilet" without Obama. Has a lot of growing up to do.

#15, I´ve now spent about a half hour looking at Paris Jackson pix and in the vast majority of them, I don´t believe she is wearing colored contacts. Regular contact lenses usually have a very slight blue tinge to them, so you can find the silly things, which may have a small effect. However, there is also a slight edge that can be seen, if you are looking for it - and I don´t see it.

She seems to have eyes like my daughter´s, which I call "changeable" - they appear blue or green or gray, depending on what she is wearing and the lighting. "Blue" eyes, after all, are an optical illusion and sometimes the illusion is better than other times.

And why would she wear colored contacts when she already has great eyes?

She´s 14.

By any observable metric, zombies are totally hot right now. Look at movies like "Warm Bodies" and the coming "World War Z," the ratings for AMC´s hit series "The Walking Dead" (12.9 million viewers for its recent season finale) and $2.5 billion in annual sales for zombie videogames. Over the past decade, between a third and a half of all zombie movies ever made have been released. A glance at Google GOOG -1.51%Trends reveals that in the past few years, interest in flesh-eating ghouls has far outstripped popular enthusiasm for vampires, wizards and hobbits.

J. David Kuo, an evangelical Christian conservative and former top official of President George W. Bush’s faith-based initiative who drew wide attention when he publicly accused the administration of failing to live up to the values it espoused, died April 5 in Charlotte. He was 44.He was diagnosed a decade ago with brain cancer, his wife, Kimberly, said. The arc of Mr. Kuo’s life and career had taken him from liberal to conservative, from hard-edged Republican activism in the 1990s to disillusionment with the idea that politics could serve as an extension of his faith.

This country is an embarrassment. We can’t do anything right, least of all corruption. Look, when Venezuela’s populist demagogue Hugo Chavez died, word was he’d somehow accumulated an estate worth $2 billion. In the old days when the PRI party ruled Mexico uninterruptedly, every president got a single six-year term — and promptly retired at its close as a billionaire. And that was when a billion was real money.

Like most of you, I yearn for shorter winters, more shirt-sleeve weather, less lashing from frigid winds. As a confirmed New Yorker, I’m not willing to do what millions have done: move to the sunbelt. I want warmer weather here in the Big City. But I’ve grown old waiting for the promised global warming. I was 35 when predictions of a looming ice age were supplanted by warmmongering. Now I’m 68, and there’s still no sign of warmer weather. It’s enough to make one doubt the “settled science” of the government-funded doom-sayers.

In a measure of solidarity with those affected by the budget-slashing government sequestration, President Obama is giving up 5 percent of his salary for rest of the year, which is almost as admirable and sensible as a mansion-owner shutting off his marble fountains during a drought. This is not to imply that the president shouldn´t demonstrate some unity with those who´ve been furloughed or lost work because of the blind slashing the sequestration prompted. WASHINGTON — A photo of the Obamas hugging that was released on Election Day 2012 has become the world´s most popular tweet on Twitter. A dressed-up version of Barack Obama´s State of the Union speech, packed with charts and graphs, is huge on YouTube. A playful picture of the president cavorting with a 3-year-old in a Spiderman costume is a favorite online. It´s all courtesy of the Obama image machine, serving up a stream of words, images and videos that invariably cast the president as commanding, compassionate and on the ball. In this world, Obama's family is always photogenic, first dog Bo is always well-behaved and the vegetables in the South Lawn kitchen garden always seem succulent.

ARLINGTON, Texas -- At 11:46 p.m. CT on Friday at Cowboys Stadium, a group of Florida fans rose from their seats and began a rather sobering chant. “Al-most mid-night!,” they yelled. “Al-most mid-night!” Standing on the nearby court, Florida Gulf Coast’s players could only hang their heads. The clock was about to strike 12 on one of the better Cinderella stories in NCAA tournament history. The first No. 15 seed ever to advance to the Sweet 16 finally came off its cloud in a 62-50 loss to Florida. “We made history,” guard Brett Comer said.

Every month that those would-be workers are gone raises the odds that they might never come back, dimming the prospects for future economic growth. But then came Friday’s jobs report, and hopes were dashed. The Labor Department reported that the U.S. labor force — everyone who has a job or is looking for one — shrank
