Confirmed: Diane Feinstein
Doesn´t Know Anything

American Thinker, by Warren Beatty

Original Article

Posted By:magnante, 1/5/2013 10:12:30 AM

Senator Diane Feinstein (D-CA), on December 17, 2012, announced that she will introduce a bill in the next Congress to stop the sale, transfer, importation, and manufacturing of military-style assault weapons and high-capacity ammunition feeding devices (otherwise known as magazines). When asked, "Which special interests in Washington have too much power?," Feinstein answered in May 2012, "Guns." She continued, "We now have something happening in the US that has never happened before. That is, children killing children with guns. Over 13 a day."

It´s a good read with lots of interesting statistical verification. The author is a different Warren Beatty, but it got me to read the piece. I already thought Diane Feinstein an idiot, but was curious about the author´s take.

He begs the question. Feinstein is not concerned at all about what weapons are used in most murders. What she´s concerned about is having an uprising against the government by gun armed patriots who have had enough of government abuse. She knows that such a confrontation might be lost by the government if faced with millions of guns. not so much by baseball bats.

Wouldn´t you think we would be students of past History and learn from it?

The article quotes Alan Colmes, who of course agrees with this mummified commie. The only thing about her that makes me happy is that she will probably assume room temperature in my lifetime. Just like with Comrade Howard Metzenbaum and Chappaquiddick Kennedy, I will do a happy dance and maybe take the day off.

In all of this I don´t see where Feinstein states crime rates for those countries that she believes we should be following, nor the liberties that the citizens of those countries enjoy. And I am sure she will give a detailed outline of how we all can be assured that the police will arrive in time to stop the nut jobs and crooks from doing us harm.

Feinstein could not care less about dead kids. If she did she would be screeching against abortion. She sees it and abortion as nothing more than a path to power and control. Read Alinsky: "The issue is never the issue, the issue is always power and control". That´s all that matters to Feinstein and her despicable ilk.

California’s state legislature is seeking to repeal an idiotic law that took effect January 1st. It turns out that some feel-good regulatory efforts generate enough blowback that they can actually be reversed. Stacy Finz reports in the San Francisco Chronicle: State lawmakers have passed a new food safety law that they wish they hadn´t. Anyone working in a California restaurant or bar who prepares ready-to-eat food - from bagels to sushi to fruit salad to cocktails - has to wear gloves or use deli tissue, spatulas or tongs. The disappearance in the Gulf of Thailand of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 to Beijing, China after 2 hours 5 minutes of normal flight has all the trademarks of a terrorist attack against China by Al Qaeda. The specter of a modern long range jumbo jet suddenly falling from the sky with no distress call suggests horrific causes. (snip)There are only a few possible causes of the sudden disappearance of a modern airliner. None are comforting: Some kind of equipment malfunction that completely preoccupied the crew and led to a sudden crash. One of the pillars of liberal social engineering is the belief that subsidies permitting poor people to move into nicer neighborhoods helps improve their life prospects. One of the most seismic changes in American politics over the last decade has been the emergence of a sharp generational split among the electorate. The Pew Research Institute has dominated the field of exploring the ideological cleavages among different generations. And its latest survey shows again how the liberalism of the youngest voting cohort, millennials, remains firm, and likely to continue to recast the electorate. A few charts from the survey
