House Speaker John Boehner has been afforded no rest after the passage of the fiscal cliff bill. (Snip) President Barack Obama, meanwhile, has been vacationing on the sunny beaches of Hawaii - leaving Washington just hours after the deal made it through Congress on Tuesday night. I loathe Barak Obama, and I pray that God grants me a long enough life to see that "what goes around comes around." Of course, I have the same prayer for Bill Clinton...and Hillary...and Nancy Pelosi...and Harry Reid...and George Soros...

In case no one else noticed, the date under Zippy at the beach is January 1, 2012. Does he have water wings in his pockets ?

Shouldn´t somebody ask Christy why no one in his state was insured, including the towns ?

Just imagine how many families´ food stamps could be paid for with the amount he spent on this one vacation.

But he doesn´t need to sacrifice like we do.

But I have come to despise Obama because I don´t think the other two purposefully set out to hurt America like he has.

Obama and his neophytes in the White House don´t even give a passing thought to the reality AND optics of their actions: 1) millions of Americans have had no vacation for years due to the Obama economy. 2)With the trillions in US debt, couldn´t the Obama family have spent their holidays at Camp David? 3)And returning to Hawaiii after interrupting his vacay to "save the country from the fiscal cliff" is just rubbing our noses in it. 4) The $7 million spent on the Obama family vacation could have gone a long way to help the victims of Hurricane Sandy.

Christie probably simmered down when he found out that Boehner did not bring this bill to a vote because of all the pork in it. Who is slipping this stuff in? They are at fault and it happens all the time. After a bill is passed we learn it authorized all kind of spending on ridiculous stuff. But we never find out who put the stuff in.

She should have been as silent when Chris Christie was her Presidential pick. Last seen he was following along behind Obama like an adoring child. #35, Boehner tried to compromise, repeatedly, only to have Obama then raise his demands. Hence the 41:1 tax to spending ratio of the final bill.

Obama is not open to compromise, and if the Republicans idea of compromise of their principles is to just commit half a murder, they are done.

It´s easy to understand Hitler and his socialist/communist/islamic madness.
But why Boehner, Cantor, even Bachmann and Paul what was his name? They´re all on the bandwagon to fiscal destruction. Are they all threatened with death and damage to them and their families? What other reason is there for them all to act like traitors?
We know violence lays in store for Hilary IF she tells the truth. It´s a sure thing.
But is it possible for damn near all of Washington to be under similar threats of serious violence if they don´t fold up like cowards......as they all have ?

The photo of Obama in the surf looks odd , I can´t quite put my finger on it.
Of course, he´s posing for his adoring male media , the ones that gush over his " glistening pecs ".
Some of the photos of Michelle in her beach attire could also have the same description-seriously.
There were a couple of shots of Michelle on Martha´s Vineyard a few years back ,
in some very low cut thing and she had a manly, ripped chest.
If we had a non complicit media,
the 24/ 7 sybaritic and hedonistic lifestyle of the Obamas -paid for by the tax payers-would be exposed and properly criticized.
George W Bush and Mitt Romney , when they do take a rare vacation, always seem to find simple settings .
Like normal people.
And they don´t pose for the cameras.
Psst..don´t tell the Commander in Chief and ruin his daily vacation that 1544 US soldiers have died in Afghanistan and 264 have died in Iraq
since he was inaugurated in 2009.
I kid..he only worries about the NBA and Jay-Z , nothing could ruin his Five Star lifestyle.

Well John carry through with the irate retort you voiced because you still are the Speaker. Take a page out of Harry´s tome and refuse to put any bill before the House that benefits Obe in any way.
Do smack the floor with a bill restricting presidential use of AF-1 for personal vacations and include those vacations taken are not paid with US tax dollars.
There is only 1 US home furnished for a president enforce that rule and end calling any place he parks his bottom a version of that said residence.

Nothing will change until the Republicans get someone, anyone who will stand up and tell it like it is! They are always afraid of being "blamed" or "thought poorly of." Afraid of not being re-elected. Until we get some reps with cojones who don´t care if they get re-elected, Democrats will run right over us. They, you may have noticed, tell lies, bash opponents, refuse to compromise and care not about opinion!
Romney should have stood up and said "yes I am rich and I earned every penny." "I never made money rabble rousing." "It would be a pleasure to bring my money back "onshore" USA if the regulations were not so outrageous!" But no, he instead took the "moderate ground" which always costs us.

Look, Boehner didn´t get to where he is because he is a political wuss. He just cant talk out of both sides of his mouth like Obie can. You may recall he did manage to give Obie a fat lip a couple of times during the recent debt "negotiations". It is interesting since Obie dont know how to negotiate, he has to rely on the "my way or the highway" tactic.

When we experience the aftershock from the bursting of the dollar and debt bubbles, we will remember Obie as the great destroyer assuming he hasn´t been led out of the WH in 2016 or sooner enjoying a nice pair of handcuffs on his final trip to Hawaii.

The politics of Obamacare delays

By now, the pattern is pretty clear: Obamacare deadlines don’t stick. And they probably never will. The unanswered question is, does the extra time create more hassles than benefits for those affected - and is the goalpost-moving worth the political headaches it creates for the Obama administration? Because undeniably, every time the Obama administration bends a deadline for the Affordable Care Act — delaying the employer mandate for the second time, putting off parts of the enrollment launch, or giving customers just a little more time to sign up — it fuels the perception that the administration is just winging it,

WASHINGTON – The White House is defending its decision to bar reporters and photojournalists from a meeting between President Barack Obama and the Dalai Lama. White House spokesman Jay Carney says he acknowledges the news media´s legitimate interest in covering the encounter. But he says the decision was consistent with past meetings Obama has held with the Buddhist monk. Obama´s meeting with the Dalai Lama drew harsh criticism from China even before it took place. The White House appeared to be trying to keep it low-key to avoid further aggravating Beijing.

For the last several days, I have been accumulating information about the extraordinary plan, launched by the Democratic majority of the Federal Communications Commission, apparently without input or even knowledge on the part of the Commission’s Republicans, to survey radio and television stations, as well as newspapers (over which the FCC has no jurisdiction) with respect to their editorial news judgments. Many observers saw the FCC’s project as the prelude to an effort to push news reporting even farther to the left. See Mark Steyn, Byron York and Tammy Bruce, for a few among many such examples. But whether it be a single unpitted olive, lobster tail and steak or two pints of mint and chocolate chip ice cream, their choice of last meal could also be said to offer a glimpse into each of these prisoners´ personalities. The rocker said he was sorry for using “street fighter terminology of subhuman mongrel,’” and admitted "I did cross the line.” Nugent said he should have used a term such as “violator of his oath, the Constitution” instead. The apology came just a day after Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) urged Nugent to apologize for the remark. “Ted

The Federal Reserve on Friday released transcripts from its 2008 meetings, divulging publicly for the first time many of the details of critical decisions made by the central bank during the height of the financial crisis. The transcripts shed light on the decision-making process -- the agreements as well as the quarrels -- that led to unprecedented interventions such as the bailout of banks deemed “too big to fail,” emergency lending measures, the lowering of the key fed funds interest rates to near zero and the long-running bond purchase program known as quantitative easing. Aside from selling long-time fan favorites such as Thin Mints and Samoas, the Girl Scouts´ cookie program has another goal: To teach girls and young women to become savvy business thinkers. One 13-year-old Girl Scout is exemplifying that mission with her clever selling strategy: Pitching her cookie stand outside a medical marijuana dispensary. The girl, Danielle Lei, set up the stand outside The Green Cross medical marijuana dispensary in San Francisco, stocking her table with favorites such as Tagalongs and Samoas. She sold about 117 boxes in two hours. Lei´s mother told CBS station KPIX by phone that the location allowed

First conservative icon Thomas Sowell turned on Ted Cruz, now it appears that Ann Coulter is souring on the Texas Republican as well. Sowell published two columns this week slamming Cruz for being self-serving. Coulter praised the first of Sowell’s columns in a tweet Wednesday. Later, in an appearance on Fox News’ “Hannity” Wednesday night, Coulter doubled down on her praise of Sowell’s anti-Cruz column: ”I never push anyone else’s column but mine. Today everyone has got to read Thomas Sowell’s article.” During the “Hannity” segment, Coulter attacked tea party groups for being filled with “shysters” and “conmen,” naming specifically the Senate Conservatives

Sarah Palin has made an endorsement in Texas. She’s backing tea party leader Katrina Pierson over Rep. Pete Sessions. In a Facebook post, Palin notes that Pierson’s “life’s story is full of hardships she has fought to overcome, which taught her firsthand the importance of self-reliance, hard work, and the blessings of liberty.” One of those hardships includes a 1997 arrest for shoplifting. As the Dallas Morning News reported on Valentine’s Day, “In 1997, five days before her 21st birthday, Katrina Pierson, then named Katrina Lanette Shaddix, was arrested on a charge of theft of greater than $50 and less than $500.” Pierson,

Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, may be the brightest light to adorn the Republican Party in many years. He knows how to make the case for conservative ideas, pointing, for example, to the contrasting fates of Detroit and Houston to illustrate the superiority of conservative policies. So it´s particularly galling to see that rather than train his fire at President Barack Obama and the liberal machine that cocoons him, Cruz has become a one-man wrecking ball against Republicans. His most recent foray into sabotaging his colleagues concerned the debt limit increase. Because Speaker John Boehner sent over a "clean" debt limit bill,

Self-described ´Maverick´ Senator John McCain is making waves with his defeatist statements about how formidable Hillary Rodham Clinton will be as a presidential candidate, predicting that she would win if the 2016 election were held in 2014. ´I would bet, my friend, as much as I hate to admit it,´ McCain told Piers Morgan during his Thursday night CNN broadcast, ´that right now – this is why we have campaigns – but right now, if the election were tomorrow, Hillary Clinton would most likely be the president of the United States.´ The Arizona pol and 2008 Republican presidential nominee was

I repeat: I’m not a global warming believer. I’m not a global warming denier. I’ve long believed that it cannot be good for humanity to be spewing tons of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. I also believe that those scientists who pretend to know exactly what this will cause in 20, 30 or 50 years are white-coated propagandists. “The debate is settled,” asserted propagandist in chief Barack Obama in his latest State of the Union address. “Climate change is a fact.” Really? There is nothing more anti-scientific than the very idea that science is settled, static, impervious to challenge. Take

How much more are black people in this country supposed to take? On Saturday, a Florida jury failed to convict Michael Dunn for the callous murder of Jordan Davis. Though he was convicted of three counts of attempted murder and also on a gun charge, a mistrial was declared for the first-degree murder charge. He will face substantial jail time – perhaps up to 75 years on the four charges for which he was found guilty. Prosecutor Angela Corey has also publicly declared her intent to seek retrial on the murder conviction. However, she is the same prosecutor who oversaw the Zimmerman

Listening to pundits talk about the potential 2016 Republican field, you’d be forgiven for forgetting about Rick Santorum. The former senator’s strong second-place showing in 2012 shocked—even scared—the GOP’s kingmakers, who saw in him an abortion-hating firebrand with no chance of beating Barack Obama. So it’s no surprise that today, the party’s mainstreamers are acting like he’s old news, again dismissing a Santorum presidential candidacy. Not that he cares. He’s too busy plotting another possible run at the White House. In recent months, Santorum has gathered his inner circle of longtime advisers to sketch out a presidential campaign. He’s scheduling trips to

FRESNO, Calif.- Federal officials say many farmers caught in California´s drought will receive no irrigation water this year from a vast system of rivers, canals and reservoirs interlacing the state. The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation announced Friday it will continue to monitor rain and snowfall, but at this point there´s not enough water in the Central Valley Project to give water to farmers. Last year, Central Valley farmers received 20 percent of their normal allowance, and that figure is now set at zero percent. This marks the third dry year for the state, and Gov. Jerry Brown last month declared

The Federal Communications Commission is trying to reassure House Republicans it has no plans to restrict the freedom of the press. In a letter released Thursday, FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler told Republican leaders of the House Energy and Commerce Committee his commission “has no intention of regulating political or other speech of journalists or broadcasters.” Wheeler defended new FCC research as the first step toward pinpointing “market barriers” that might affect the “diversity of media voices.” Republicans expressed concern the FCC´s study was an attempt "to control the political speech of journalists” by reviving the Fairness Doctrine, now-extinct rules that required radio and

Of all the electoral maneuvers lately — Huckabee heading to Iowa, Santorum huddling with advisors, Allen West refusing to rule anything out, and even Joe Scarborough visiting New Hampshire — this is the most interesting. Is there room for Perry this time, though? Perry, a potential 2016 presidential candidate, will be in Des Moines and Davenport on Feb. 27 and Feb. 28. He will be sitting down with business leaders to discuss a wide range of issues, according to Bob Haus, an adviser in the state. He also will be taping an episode of “Iowa Press,” Iowa Public Television’s weekly public affairs program, Haus
