Obama´s Idea Of ´Balance´Is
Higher Taxes To Fund
A Growing Welfare State

Investors Business Daily, by Charles Krauthammer

The rout was complete, the retreat disorderly. President Obama got his tax hikes — naked of spending cuts — passed by the ostensibly Republican House of Representatives. After which, you might expect him to pivot to his self-proclaimed "principle" of fiscal "balance" by taking the lead on reducing spending. "Why," asked the Washington Post on the eve of the final "fiscal-cliff" agreement, "is the nation´s leader not embracing and then explaining the balanced reforms the nation needs?" Because he has no interest in them. He´s a visionary, not an accountant. He´ll pretend to care about deficits, especially while

As to the other points that Charles made, it is about the destruction of the United States of America. I still cannot believe that an intelligent man like Charles does not realize the end game of this evil regime.

During the 40´s an English politician predicted America would eventually embrace social democracy with the expansion of the "proletariat," referring at that time to the increase in the black population, among others. Immigration has sped up the process, but it certainly looks as if demographics (and a lack of education) contribute to the support for a socialist style state.

Good point, #11.

He must not be underestimated. He´s deftly leveraged his class-war-themed election victory (a) to secure a source of funding (albeit still small) for the bloated welfare state, (b) to carry out an admirably candid bit of income redistribution and (c) to fracture the one remaining institutional obstacle to his ideological agenda.

Re: Dr. K´s "(a), it may be small now, but give O time. He plans to gather as much wealth from as many white people as possible.

Re: (b), it´s "admirable" because it is working, not because it´s good policy for anyone except Obama. Redistribution (outright theft is what it really is) punishes achievers and benefits non-achievers but in the end, harms everyone.

Re: (c) This is the scary part. Now that he is re-elected, he is free to expand his Communist agenda unless he is stopped by Congress. This includes invalidating the 22nd amendment. He has proved he has no compunctions about circumventing the Constitution, so watch for trial balloons about this.

Obama and all his supporters are not trying to destroy America, but they can´t help it because of their ideology. They want nothing to do with God, don´t want to be judgmental in any way, want a live-and-let-live cuture with no absolutes, no right or wrong, want to punish people who are wealthier than they (since they must have gottent that wealth by theft) and want to silence anyone who tries to uphold any moral standard and relies on God to tell them what is good and evil instead of opinion.

No culture can last without morals, without the unwritten laws of love, charity (not the government perverted version of it) humility and character. Nor can they last if they destroy everything that is sacred like church, family, marriage, truth and life. Nor last if they pervert freedom and liberty into self-indulgence and self gratification without consequences.

Obama thinks like all Marxists think; that if he can pass enough laws, restrictions and controls, he can force mankind to be good. He can´t do it because nobody can do it. He has been lied to and he believes them... like all secualarists.

He´s redistributing wealth. When your parents told you to stay in school and work hard, they didn´t realize that there would be a president whose only thoughts were to take what one has earned and distribute it to the ones who never worked hard, didn´t study and didn´t stay in school. It has been said that an actuary is someone who really wanted to be an accountant but didn´t have the personality for it. See who´s laughing now. Things are starting to get very interesting, actuarially-speaking. Federal bankruptcy judge Christopher Klein ruled on April 1 that Stockton, Calif., can file for bankruptcy via Chapter 9 (Chapter 11´s ugly cousin). The ruling may start the actuarial dominoes falling across the country, because Stockton´s predicament stems from financial assumptions that are hardly restricted to one improvident California municipality.

He added, "What´s more important to you: our children, or an A-grade from the gun lobby?" Mr. Obama is lapsing into such crude appeals—support his gun-control agenda or suborn mass child murder—because he knows his real problems aren´t the gun lobby. They´re members of his own party who answer to law-abiding voters who support Second Amendment rights.

There used to be a formulation of cynical news editors to determine American news priorities for mass murder. It ran something like: 1,000 dead Bangladeshis = 100 dead Italians = 10 dead Americans. So how many dead American babies does it take to make the news? I wrote two-and-a-half weeks ago about the U.S. media’s determination to ignore a story that’s inconvenient to their biases.
